I watched a case of abuse of social media by a member of a scam against a scambuster earlier today.

It was retweeted 116 times in the first hour and 'liked' slightly more times. The scam that Heliumhobo hadQuote:

been scolding (haranguing?) areyoudevon about seems to have been the Email Processing System, an electronic
envelope stuffing scheme run by Yvonne Anderson of Ya Ya Services - also one of the people running The
Millionaire Mailer chain letter scam. And from looking at Heliumhobo's Twitter it is clear that he was getting
flooded by the idiots mindlessly obeying the quoted request, as well as by notifications of areyoudevon's
followers sharing it.
