ASD Remissions arena is joined by a CPA Firm promising to get early refunds??

Someone made me aware of an email that is going to former members of Ad Surf Daily, Andy Bowdoin's money laundering scheme disguised as an Auto Surf. There's some nimrod claiming he can get your money back and is only asking for a 10% or $1000 fee (whichever is greater) for his assistance. This is obviously someone taking advantage of the situation, much like the ASDMBA did early on. All they ended up doing is keeping the money sent in to them, same as this guy will do.

I checked the address listed, it appears to be in the middle of a freeway, or strip mall. Also, Illinois corporate records show Anshell Financial Services have NOT been around 40 years, as the email states; the records start on March of this year. So, someone is a liar. If you haven't noticed, both times they mention their LLC name, they did it as "Anshell financial services". Also sort of odd..

I'd stay away from this scam, there's only one contracted remissions company, RUST Consulting. Here's a link to the document filed in Judge Collyer's court, it never once mentions AFS:

Anyone tempted to use the services of "asdrecovery" should send a quick email to Info@Adsurfdailyremission.com and ask about its' legitimacy before wasting their money.

I would imagine if enough people ask, "asdrecovery" will soon disappear

LRM, I have emailed both Barry Weigand and the Admin at the remission website, informing them of AFS entering the fray. Mr. Weigand is aware of AFS and has talked to Sheldon Drobny and some of his clients. He told me that no one is going to be able to get your money back any faster than anyone else. Rust Consulting, the remissions administrator commented that they are independent contractors to the US Secret Service and that Rust Consulting are neither affiliated nor do they endorse Anshell Financial Services.

At best, those running AFS are trying to take advantage of ASD victims and make a bit of money. I'd not be surprised if AFS was "engaged" by some upper level promoters to help them get back their investments, on top of the money they took out of ASD. What AFS is doing is not illegal, it's immoral.

People CAN make a difference in these matters and all it takes is 2 or 3 minutes out of your day.

Whip, they have a very brief mention in Google for a company that's been around for 40 years. The corporate records begin in March of this year, and they appear to have their office on the side of a freeway, if you Google their address. Other information shows Sheldon Drobny is a co-founder of Air America Radio, "providing talk radio for the majority of Americans". He has also written a book:

Sheldon Drobny has written articles for The Huffington Post, has been a CPA for a while, and according to news reports, attempted suicide following some "Nova M" bankruptcy filing in 2009. I'm not certain I'd trust him with my refund. But that's my opinion, based on what I can dig up. Not only is he a CPA, he's highly political.
