From the ASA fame or whatever. Where did he go?? A guy named Accountant that I remember really scared him bad I think. He got banned like the rest of us from TG for speaking the truth.
What came of this piece of trash? Anybody know? I personally hope he is living under a bridge somewhere in a rotten area.
Let me tell a quick story. I cAnt remember the scam by the way. He was a part of so many. Anyway, they said Jake fell down the stairs and was in a bad shape in Atlanta. I called every hospital in the area and he was no where to be found. LOL!!!! So typical. I will never forget that.
Remember him and Todd doing those casts on video? Todd may have been a worse scammer imo. He teamed up with Krimm in the end and it back fired on them all. What is sad is that Bob Krimm is still on the lose.
How does that happen???
It would be very helpful to start compiling an accurate history of an era which I have described as the Jake/Kent war era. My first memory of Jake Amadee was an announcement on Adlandpro. An Adlandpro member announced the fact that "an authority" had been launched to monitor the performance of autosurfs and separate scams from real advertising services. The web site showed pictures of emergency service type vehicles with flashing lights screaming. Todd Heaps and Jake Amadee were portrayed as being employed by this authority.
The first surf to have been passed as bona fide by "Autosurf Authority" may have been Phoenix Surf. I was very suspicious about Autosurf Authority and I asked a lot of questions about the service on Adladpro. Adland adopted Autosurf Authority as being bona fide. One of the Adlanders who helped to launch it as a service to Internet users was an Adlandpro member called Kathy Martin who divorced and remarried. She is now known as Kathy Hamilton and sometimes posts on Adland.
Kathy ran some sort of radio show and she did a great deal to launch the Jake/Todd crew. Autosurf Authority was adopted as gospel when it came to the "autosurf industry" by Adlandpro.
When Mrs Vee joined ASA, she was proclaimed as the tech authority who was able to sort out the frauds within the industry using expensive tools to trace the server setups and separate the sheep from the goats.
Adlandpro members were a very large force behind the launch of Autosurf Authority.
The story about Jake's fall down the stairs was put around when Broker Jones and Ken Russo got involved Eddie. It is a more recent Autosurf Authority chapter. The Bob Krimm era preceeded it.Quote:

Jake was a slimy snake in the grass and the name given to him by Kent Black "Jake The Snake" reflected his level of participation in the whole mess.

I do not remember the guy called accountant but I do remember "goldkitty" making mincemeat out of him and his little shadow (Jack Cobb.) His dependency on Vee for all things technical was his Achiles Heel. His ultimate folly was the announcement of some offshore product or service which was supposed to be guaranteed by the Bank of England. Jake is certainly missing, so is Bob Krimm and Vee (who fought Bob Krimm tooth and nail!) I have no sympathy with Vee but she tried to get Bob Krimm nailed. It was Kent Black who won some victories against Bob Krimm and started MyCahForum. Rumour has it that Kent sang like a canary when questioned. May be true! What we do know is that Kent Black did not fight Bob Krimm without help. He did so with the help of Nickers Smirnow.Quote:

My memory is letting me down but I may remember who were the Big ASA promoters on Adlandpro with a few prompts and a few decent night's sleep.
It was a woman who was the first Adland member to introduce Jake and Todd and they were announced in a blaze of glory with the first surf to meet ASA approval. The first Adlandpro member to run a paid autosurf was a woman who started an autosurf called Lucky7 or Lucky7surf. The Adlandpro member who was the only moderator was a great admirer of ASA and claimed to work for them as a volunteer.
I can remember when this person almost persusaded Jake to clean up ASA. Silverschells was around in that era and she published so much material about Jake that Kent's staunchest advocate (cookie keener) announced that Silvershells was a police woman and not to be trusted. Heaven knows why Cookie was afraid of communicating with a police woman and wanted her ignored by MCF members.Quote:

I seem to remember that jake the snake ended up in Atlanta with a janitorial service company but that was posted on the old ASA board. I also remember a thread over at the WLD about jake spilling the beans also but that was quite some time ago and it's just my memory as I didn't save anything from back them.
I heard that story about the janitorial service company too. It is also only a rumour that Kent spilled the beans but the fact that Smirnow is wanted by Interpol suggests that somebody talked.Quote:

That would be me, it was what I used for a name when I first started following these scams. I know quite a bit about ole Jake, but at the time I had promised him I wouldn't make public the things he told me as long as what he told me was true. And I won't. He currently runs a janitorial service in Atlanta, and has told a lot of what he knows,but most of it he tries to gloss over his part. He was the original mind behind DR Fund although I did manage to talk him out of it, he waited a few weeks and had someone else front it for him. When that got him some attention he gave up and went into hiding more or less. I have heard his wife left him, but I don't know if that's true.Quote:
