I think the Ponzi scam is one of the best going and people seem more greedy than curious. Many victims I suspect are easily aroused by government conspiracy theories. This easily plays into the narrative of why these "opportunities" are only offered on social media.
If these folks can get their money out at first, well it must be the real deal. Even if a Ponzi promoter has to initially go into their own pocket to plant the seed, that's all it takes for many to grab the credit card and go all in.
On my end, the implosions are the worst. That's when it really comes to light how feckless many of these people are. Instead of reading https://www.ssb.texas.gov/news-publi...mergency-order its back to Faceook for a wubbie and warm milk.

The US has a current population of 323+million.
While a few thousand noisy Facebook posters might make it seem the world's gone mad and everyone is joining obvious frauds, they really haven't.

See, this is why I strongly disagree with those who like to brand everyone who gets caught out by these things as greedy fraudsters themselves.
People like the members of the Oz USI-Tech group you mention ARE totally clueless "true believers" who can't or don't use Google, live by the positive thinking at all costs mantra they've had thrust down their throats since childhood, believe everything they are told by the skilled professionals who run these scam schemes and have no idea internet fraud of the size of USI-Tech is even possible.

For those of you worried about what high profile USI-Tech pimps,James and Grace Lockett and their Global Turbo Team are going to do now that USI-Tech meal ticket has hit the skids, worry not.
The Locketts have been hard at work removing any evidence of their fraudulent activity.
And have moved onto the next opportunity they could find to defraud the naive and unwary.

Re: USI-tech claims its' sale of unregistered securities in US "legal"
Here is episode 3 - whilst I am taking a humourous approach to all of this (sometimes humour is the only way to get through a serious message) , we need to acknowledge that there are some REAL victims that are coming out of this. Also, the fact that the verbal poop coming out of USI reps / Leaders that they are pulling out because of the actions of "two distributors" is laughable and naive at best. They made this plan the day the C & D first came out , make no mistake, this is a convenient exit excuse.
I also don't believe the narrative that some of the leaders did not know this was happening. Is it no co-incidence that Frank "I want to stack my bitcoin" Calabro Jr withdrew 10.5 bitcoin in mid December (as he states in his crisis-call meeting on facebook the day the USA pulled out - somehow keeping the narrative that they are a legit company because they are still paying him) ....... why not keep your 10.5 bitcoin in the system to keep stacking it ? Very fishy he withdrew such a large amount of bitcoin only 1-2 weeks before this all went down.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJZnFfgZysA
The main focus in this Episode is first on the every day victims in this (I can't believe the one guy has 70K (!!) in there) , the fact that many of us "told you so" and lastly on "Master Distributor" Dan Hunt. Dan is also the man responsible for claiming that USI was legally entitled to operate in the USA according to the SEC and FTC .... very very irresponsible and not to mention HIGHLY illegal. Its no co-incidence that the video that was doing the rounds of him spouting this has been deleted.
I for one can't wait till this goes under, I have way too many friends either a) deeply involved or b) considering it.
Feel free to rip , share , distribute this video.

That's an awesome find. The account they used to move the funds out was just created. Very strange for a company leaving North America solely over concerns about the way two lowly affiliates marketed. The first to account also recently born and has mined no blocks.
The second to account holds no ETH and has done no mining.

Re: USI-tech claims its' sale of unregistered securities in US "legal"
Well, today was the day that USI said they were going to "clarify" their actions from last Friday and answer all the questions. Here is what they have released so far, and I quote:
"Dear partners,
Our decision for the US and Canada was not easy for us as a company. From the beginning, we have fought for this market with all of the opportunities available to us despite all opposition.
We have frequently denounced the misconduct of many partners in the US and Canada regarding the misrepresentation of our products and our company, and we have pointed out the risks and possible consequences many times.
We have threatened partners with exclusion due to their misconduct, but this has not led to changes in behavior. On the contrary, the portrayals of our business have become increasingly negligent. This triggered increasingly difficult disputes with regulatory authorities.
In the end, our advisors urged us to discontinue market access for our partners in the US and Canada to avoid more serious damage to the company.
All further action in the US and Canada is now in the hands of our legal advisors. All subsequent steps will only be carried out on the basis of legally-compliant instructions from our advisors. Of course, we will provide information on timekeeping in any case.
Regrettably, investigations have found many abuses regarding double accounts and false accounts that have been used for unlawful payouts. We will also prosecute these abuses to the fullest extent of the law.
Until these investigations are completed, we are barred from making any payments to prevent additional abuses.
Again, we would like to point out that all misconduct worldwide with respect to misrepresentations or potential manipulation of our system will be punished with immediate expulsion from the company.
We look forward to continuing our successful cooperation with all reputable business partners and customers so that we can continue our unique success story.
Management"
My only questions are: clarified what and answered what questions? But now instead of just blaming the members, now they blame the lawyers and their advisors for not being able to pay you. Sure glad this is not a Ponzi.

While Americans and Canadians are screwed it's supposed to be business as usual for all other 68 countries from which members are from..
Doing my rounds this morning(Tuesday) I see that "selective payments" have begun...though those reporting payments may be doing so from requests that were in the 24hour security (BS) window..

This is really funny and puts in perspective how just how absurd the claims made USI-Tech & ponzi pimps sound in retrospect. Props to maker.
Saw it on OZ's latest write up. Lots in there:

Effectively what they've done is the same as what MAP did.
Removed their liabilities from by far their biggest market.
At the same time they have stripped everything from their only verified "pool" and intimidated the rest of their members into not complaining for fear of breaking the "rules"
