One has to admire the way the Thai police are leaving no stone unturned in the UFun investigation:

I wouldn't mind one of those bank accounts where million mysteriously suddenly appear from nowhere.
Interesting to note also that law enforcement DOES pay attention to what appears on Facebook.
La-la-la, Joby Boughey can't hear you!
And in any case it's all lies, the media were PAID to write rude things about UFUN!
Attachment 10894 Attachment 10895
Let's be kind and say Joby Boughey is just burying his head in the sand and doesn't, as many people have expressed, have it so far up his own anal orifice he can't see what is going on.

Now contrast the reports posted over the past few weeks with the nonsense "Kiss-O-Death" Ken Russo and his bestest friend "Jack" have posted in the UFun / UToken thread on the MMG HYIP ponzi forum:

Here's yet another UK based UFun ponzi pimp doing the old "let's bury our head in the sand and pretend everything's OK with UFun and make some illegal income claims while we're at it" trick.

Pretty old rant. Wonder if he changed his tune six months later? :)
Regular observers of the UFun HYIP ponzi / pyramid scheme will be familiar with the name Nicolas Giannos
Giannos was the UFun representative who boasted on his nicolas.gianno Facebook page how he had introduced UFun / UToken to the Samoan Central Bank, prompting speculation Samoa was to become involved in laundering the proceeds of the UFun fraud.

Today comes news on SamoaObserverer.ws that things haven't gone quite as smoothly as Mr Giannos would like UFunners to believe:

Nope, on the contrary,
he became more heavily involved:

And still the arrests continue:
Today ThaiPBS.or.th is reporting:

Mr Nathee has obviously never watched any Bugs Bunny cartoons.
If he had he would have known if you are gonna taunt the vicious guard dog, be damned sure the gate is closed before you start pulling its' tail or banging on the fence.

According to an article published today on Thailands' NationMultiMedia.com the noose has further tightened and American based UFunners will be a lot less cocky and sleep less soundly in their beds tonight, with confirmation the FBI have officially joined the UFun / UToken investigation:

Is it wrong of me to be really enjoying reading about this?
I hope now, that since the above named couple were transferring money to a UK bank, that the UK authorities will get involved too. The banks certainly should. And with luck, that will wake up other relevant authorities.
Am I right that the un-named couple who were arrested at the airport were Mr Giannos and his partner?
Glad to see that some countries in the world take this sort of thing seriously. I hope that it will become a transnational matter, and that a lot more of the promoters will get caught up in it.
You sure are, it's them.
As for whether you are wrong enjoying reading what's happening - no, you're not.
It's a ponzi, a fraud, a con and the people behind it are criminal
One thing to remember:
When discussing ponzis and pyramids, it doesn't matter who says what, how many insults are thrown or how much gloating is done, you're gonna "win" in the end.
The only way you can be "wrong" is if you try to guestimate when the shutdown will happen.
There are only two certainties when it comes to ponzis and pyramids:
* They are not going to last
* Upward of 90% of players WILL end up losers.

Seasoned observers will recognize we are (entirely predictably) full on into the "Last week I was a promoter, this week I'm a victim" phase of the UFun saga.
My favourite parts are the excuses....for example:-
"Not trying to escape, Your Honour, just on my way to a casino in a another country". Nearly as good as "If it's illegal, come and arrest me!" (then expressing shock when that is exactly what happened).
Bwahahahaha!
not sure I would have used the casino excuse while being accused of stealing people's money. lol
With the FBI on his tail, one can imagine this has turned into Unot-so-fun for Lt-General Athiwat Soonpan and his wife
