As simple as possible your parents money is gone. If they get anything back, consider it a gift.
Monday morning if you have an agency that regulates securities in your country take them there and file a report. Second to that, would be filing a report with national level law enforcement.
Endless recruiting for either product sales or investment opportunities spells either a Pyramid or Ponzi scheme with no exceptions. This is doubly true the when the people pitching it aren't licensed, but a timeless truth no matter.
The people on the internet saying otherwise are either covering their own backs so they don't look guilty, or are clueless. Either way, looking to them for answers is an exercise in futility. Remember in 2015 years there has never been one exception to the endless recruiting rule. Maybe in a product situation you end up with a garage full of soap or perfume, yippee, but UFUN isn't that.
Be on the lookout for RELOAD scams. One of two forms, either new deals being pitched to get your parents back to even or someone that claims they will help your parents recover their lost money for a fee.

There is not a chance in h*** that UFun or UToken or anything associated with them will be listed on the Australian stock exchange.
An "IPO" means an Initial Public Offering
An
initial public offering, or
IPO, is the first sale of stock by a company to the public.
A company can raise money by issuing either debt or equity.
If the company has never issued equity to the public, it's known as an
IPO.
Companies fall into two broad categories: private and public.
A privately held company has fewer
shareholders and its owners don't have to disclose much information about the company.
Anybody can go out and incorporate a company: just put in some money, file the right legal documents and follow the reporting rules of your jurisdiction.
Most small businesses are privately held. But large companies can be private too. Did you know that IKEA, Domino's Pizza and Hallmark Cards are all privately held?
It usually isn't possible to buy shares in a private company.
You can approach the owners about investing, but they're not obligated to sell you anything. Public companies, on the other hand, have sold at least a portion of themselves to the public and trade on a
stock exchange.
This is why doing an IPO is also referred to as "going public."
Public companies have thousands of shareholders and are subject to strict rules and regulations.
They must have a
board of directors and they must report financial information every quarter.
In the United States, public companies report to the
Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
In other countries, public companies are overseen by governing bodies similar to the SEC. From an investor's standpoint, the most exciting thing about a public company is that the stock is traded in the open market, like any other commodity.
If you have the cash, you can invest.
The CEO could hate your guts, but there's nothing he or she could do to stop you from buying stock.
UFun has chosen Australias' mining industry as its' saviour, because to most people, Australia is a strange place about which they know very little.
The reality of the matter is, the Australian mining industry (including nickel mining) is in dire straits, with massive staff retrenchments, cutbacks, project cancellations and reduced capital investment.
As for UFuns' predictions about the Australian nickel industry, here's the reality from "real" experts:
"Currently, there are no new large-scale nickel projects coming on stream and existing or mooted export bans will only add to the pace at which supply and demand pressures must invariably spike a price rise," Repard said.
But a strong recovery is not on the cards.
"Nickel prices are forecast to bottom out in 2014/15 and remain low through 2018/19," IBISWorld said.
Western Areas CFO Joe Belladonna pointed to next year as the pinch point for the metal, in particular quality nickel sulphides, which will force the industry to focus on new technological innovations if it is to remain viable.
In the previous 2013/14 period nickel revenues saw a decline of 6.9 per cent, which was an improvement on the previous period's recorded 19.7 per cent decline.
The shrinking of the sector is predicted to slow again in the 2014/15 period to only 3.9 per cent before it records its first positive movement since 2010/11, registering a 2.1 per cent improvement in 2015/16.
This upwards trend will continue for the next few years, with a 3.3 per cent increase in 2016/17, a 4.7 per cent increase in 2017/18, and a larger 6.3 per cent increase in revenues in 2018/19.

"THEY" probably are.
It's the members who are not getting any returns, not in their bank accounts, anyway.
The only returns the members are getting are numbers on their screens in their back office

That's true, a bit like maps, looks lots of numbers, but nothing going in the bank. Latest one seems to be traffic monsoon, that just looks like maps 2.

Hard-working Chinese Ponzi SCAM promoter Casey Tan has achieved new pinnacles of expression in describing those who would dare to have anything negative to say about Ufun/Utoken:
Meanwhile, in the real world of "Where is your money and why can't you get it back?" ...
How many Ponzi SCAMS have we seen keeping their victims occupied with a new requirement to "fill up an application form with the compulsory information required for the preparation of the conversion ... " of finding out that the real money you sent is no longer available to you?

Slightly off topic, our old friend Joby Boughey appears to have jumped ship from UFUN and is now pushing something called "Onecoin" instead.
Given that he has also posted the following (and has apparently given up his job working on building sites in order to concentrate on his online "business") I think that maybe we need a new thread for Onecoin, if one does not already exist, of course.

BEHINDMLM.com has been covering the OneCoin saga for some time now, with threads HERE and HERE
Coincidentally, in response to a question in another thread Kevin Thompson today moved to clarify his involvement:
KT, why is ruja ignatova of onecoin getting her US affiliates to announce on FB that she has signed you up for US compliance? is it true?
onecoin is purportedly launching in the US in june, 2015, and they may use your name for getting people to sign up blindly!

Add this is insured by a major unnamed investment bank and we have the scammer trifecta. Certainly would be nice to have them disclose the names of the alleged law and auditing firms as well as public access to the documentation they claim was produced giving ZeroCoin the honky dory.
On Keven Thompson, I am getting the sinking feeling there is a lil "wink wink nudge nudge" going on there. These scams use him to do a little paperwork and then claim he is "on board" or some crap like that. Of course he always plays it down, but after several times of this happening how could he not know?

re: UFun/UToken/Unascos SCAM' Let's have some UFUN!
Regard Kevin Thompson: he was very careful in his contracts that he can NEVER be used to claim "he approved" or "pronounced clear" or any such. He will SUE people for contract violations if misrepresented.
The "we hired an audit firm" is also a standard dodge, trying to validate themselves with somebody else's halo by standing close. Wonder if we can call that "albedo"? ;)
Someone want to start a OneCoin topic so we can lambast it there? :D
