    http://www.marlinatlantis.com/co_pro...TreyWhite.html
    Trey White
    Chairman, Marlin Atlantis White

In his role as Chairman of Marlin Atlantis White, Mr. White guides the control and management of the companies’ interests in real property and real estate development. In addition to real estate investing, his philosophy is defined by investing in forward-thinking solutions with an eye toward technology and first to market advantages.
He was born a third-generation entrepreneur in Dallas. Understanding that being first to market is a huge advantage, he directed energy toward achievements that positioned him ahead of competitors in emerging markets. To date, he has placed capital of more than $1.5B into companies he founded or co-founded.

Mr. White co-founded NewHomeSearch, a revolutionary electronic real estate listing service for Realtors® and new home builders, gained 100% penetration in the Dallas market within two years of inception and grew to ten markets with an innovative client-server-based application, NewHomeSearch, renamed HomeBuilder.com in 1996, created the first Internet portal for searching real estate listings, quickly expanded to seventy-five markets and became the official Web site of the National Association of Homebuilders. Mr. White oversaw the merger of HomeBuilder.com with Realtor.com and participated in taking the two companies public as HomeStore.com, raised $800M in two offerings, drove stock to $160 per share and resulted in an $11B market cap at its peak.

In 2002 Mr. White began investing in multi-phased, single-family, residential developments and, in 2003, provided the start-up capital to form Marlin Atlantis. This new entity, under the direction of an outstanding management team, took advantage of low interest rates and strong residential housing markets in Texas. To date, Marlin Atlantis has entitled and/or developed eighteen residential communities, including five master-planned developments in major Texas markets. The enterprise has deployed more than $200M in capital and is one of the largest residential community developers in Texas, with more than 20,000 single family lots in inventory.

Also in 2003, Mr. White founded White Energy, a company funded to take advantage of the high cost of oil, reduce dependence on foreign oil, and reduce carbon dioxide emissions from fossil fuels by building destination, fuel-grade, ethanol plants. In 2005, White Energy received its air permit to build in Texas, the first new facility created a destination plant trend that continues today in Texas, California, New York, Colorado, Kansas and Florida. White Energy produces 250M gallons of ethanol in three facilities, is the fifth-largest US producer and the largest Texas producer of fuel grade ethanol. To date, White Energy has deployed over $500M into renewable energy investments.

Mr. White has created and pioneered markets using a best-of-breed management team methodology as he leads several organizations, charitable as well as for-profit, against which other companies and efforts are measured. His mental and physical cornerstones for success include surrounding himself with smart, experienced, respected individuals at the top of their industries. He and his associates possess the ability to take measured risks, cultivate instincts for emerging markets, and demonstrate the acute market-awareness necessary for properly timed exits. He considers these aspects of business acumen “simple rules for a complex world, instrumental in stacking odds toward the probability of success.”

The article tells of the accounting scandal in 2001. Trey / Roscoe White talks of going into residential development in 2002. So, it appears he was bailing from homestore.com just as the dung hit the fan.

I notice he fails to mention that White Energy imploded into bankruptcy despite claims that he is a multi-billionaire.

Re: Trey White's Evolv Water vs. World Renowned MD Anderson Cancer Center

Trey White is brazenly standing next to a rep that proudly proclaims that Trey is a multi-billionaire. I suggest every Evolv rep demand proof of that claim. Forbes and the reputable business magazines out there sure aren't aware of that fact.

    Remember this:
    The FTC also says:
    Your Responsibilities
If you decide to become a distributor, you are legally responsible for the claims you make about the company, its product and the business opportunities it offers. That applies even if you're repeating claims you read in a company brochure or advertising flyer. The Federal Trade Commission advises you to verify the research behind any claims about a product's performance before repeating those claims to a potential customer.

In addition, if you solicit new distributors, you are responsible for the claims you make about a distributor's earnings potential. Be sure to represent the opportunity honestly and avoid making unrealistic promises. If those promises fall through, remember that you could be held liable.

Now, Trey better not remove those. MD Anderson's attorneys and the cheerful judge are watching!

    I have a question.....White Ventures

estimated annual sales (not profit, sales) of $2.5M, which would require 400 years to become $1B
White Ventures, Ltd | Banking & Finance > Banking, Lending & Credit Services from AllBusiness.com

estimated annual revenue less than half of white ventures, $1.1M, or 910 years to hit $1B
Marlin Atlantis White Ltd - Dallas, Texas (TX) | Company Profile

    Also, employee estimates:

25 for white ventures; 12 for marlin atlantis white

Re: Trey White's Evolv Water vs. World Renowned MD Anderson Cancer Center

Let's see here.....just thinking out loud......and doing some reading on the web......

They may be able to add oxygen to the water, but there’s still a natural limit to which the body will absorb oxygen. Especially of the source comes through the digestive system as opposed to the cardiovascular system. you don’t absorb oxygen into your system via your digestive tract. So unless people are inhaling this, how will it "work"?

Also, If they’re so rich, why do they still need to use this kind of distribution?
Why not set up big campaigns?
Why would they want to share their profit with you?
    This seriously makes no sense.

I also found this about the use of oxygenating additives to food on the MD Anderson site. It’s about they have determined that it doesn’t work! From their site:

    Oxidative enzymes in foods

Gerson proposed that tumor cells thrive in an environment depleted of oxygen, but can be destroyed when oxidative reactions occur that are catalyzed by oxidative enzymes. Accordingly, he promoted the concentrated intake of intact oxidative enzymes from fresh fruits and vegetable juices obtained through special (non centrifugal) juicers.

Green critiqued this theory of oxidative damage and cited a 1961 review that provided several lines of evidence that oxygen neither prevented nor inhibited cancer growth. He then noted subsequent research concerning damage to DNA as the culprit in the initiation, promotion and progression of cancer. He also doubted that oxidative enzymes within foods could have any effect on non-digestive tissues since they would normally be broken down into their component amino acids during digestion and not pass intact through the intestinal wall. Otherwise, he asserted, they would be likely to provoke an allergic response from the host.

In response, Gar Hildenbrand and Peter Lechner of the Gerson Research Organization said that they had already publicly acknowledged that the oxygen theory was out-of-date. They also disagreed with the statement that intact proteins would necessarily provoke immune responses if they passed through the intestinal wall.

CIMER - Gerson Detailed Scientific Review - MD Anderson Cancer Center

The article states that Oxygen neither prevented nor inhibited cancer growth.

what about a patent for this "water"? Hmmmm....I guess it's hard to get a patent on plain water.

So let's see if I have this Trey guy down....

    It cures cancer! No.
    MD Anderson developed it! No.
    It is patented! No.
Trey owns a theme park! No.
Trey is proven to be a billionaire! No.
Was developed at MD Anderson! No.

I kinda liked this claim though:

“WATER is a beverage that combines our proprietary WATER formula with natural spring WATER to deliver the health benefits of hydration with increased stamina, energy and endurance."

I know if I don’t drink water I usually feel dehydrated and eventually pretty tired. lmao

Then of course as mentioned above:

“‘Evolv’ Water Is Snake Oil, Cancer Center Says
    By CAMERON LANGFORD

“HOUSTON (CN) – Two companies are pushing bottled tap water with false claims that it’s endorsed by the MD Anderson Cancer Center, the University of Texas says in Federal Court. The UT says HealtH20 Products and Evolvehealth sell the bogus water it as “Evolv,” claiming it is infused with an “Archaea Active formula.”

“The Dallas-based companies falsely claim that the Anderson Center tested the water and endorsed it, the UT says. The MD Anderson Center is a leading cancer research institution. …

“The University of Texas wants an injunction, costs, and damages for trademark violations. It is represented by John Rawls with Bracewell and Giuliani.”

    Courthouse News Service

    Have I missed anything???

It is high time we check out multi-billionaire Roscoe Frederick (Trey White) and see just where these alleged multi-billions of dollars of which Forbes has no knowledge came from.

Re: Trey White's Evolv Water vs. World Renowned MD Anderson Cancer Center

Searching the names in those relationship charts linked above shows most of the LLCs listed don't even exist as viable businesses. They may be registered in Texas or Delaware, but searching Company Profiles & Company Information on Manta results in no hits. That suggest they are not active and generating any significant revenue. So, the question remains as to where the billions of dollars in Trey's name that qualify him and his reps to classify him as a multi-billionaire came from.

No doubt the FTC, SEC, Texas Attorney General's office and many other agencies will be responding to the many reports I and others have made. I am sure they will be able to pinpoint where these billions came from!

Re: Trey White's Evolv Water vs. World Renowned MD Anderson Cancer Center

Don't you just love the bit about being "trademarked" being touted all over the 'net as making "Archaea Active solution" something special.

Obviously the members of the Evolv MLM squad have never bothered to ask themselves what having a "trademark" actually means.

    Here's the Australian definition

What is a Trade Mark? A trade mark can be a word, phrase, letter, number, sound, smell, shape, logo, picture, aspect of packaging or a combination of these. A trade mark can also protect your brand name.

It is used to distinguish the goods and services of one trader from those of another.

A registered trade mark gives you the legal right to use, license or sell it within Australia for the goods and services for which it is registered.
The difference between trade marks, business, company and domain names sometimes causes confusion. Registration of a business, company or domain name does not in itself give you any proprietary rights - only a trade mark can give you that kind of protection.
IP Australia : Trade Marks > What is a trade mark?

    There you have it.

Doesn't have a bloody thing to do with the product itself.
The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing

Re: Trey White's Evolv Water vs. World Renowned MD Anderson Cancer Center

Who is Roscoe F. White? He is listed as an "officer" and tied to many of the "businesses" names on one of your links, Mom. Is he a relative?

    Roscoe F White - Profile on CorporationWiki.com

I have never sen so many LLC's taken out in my life, by the same entities and many (not all) of them lead to nowhere. lol (inactive)

Deborah A Thomas.....same question...she is listed at the same address as Roscoe and ties to the same conpanies.

What is this lawsuit about? Security Pacific Credit Corp v. White Ventures Energy, LLC et al :: Justia Dockets & Filings

The only reason I can see having so many LLCs and not Corporations is because of taxes, and shuffling of monies and tax write offs on "business" which are not really businesses and the liability is much smaller than with a legit Corporation. Something really strange about all of this. Funny there are no Corporations in all of this convoluted mess, just dozens and dozens of LLCs. For a quick breakdown of the difference between an LLC and a Corporation:

LLC owners report business income and losses on their personal tax returns.

An LLC is not a separate tax entity like a corporation; instead, it is what the IRS calls a "pass-through entity," like a partnership or sole proprietorship. All of the profits and losses of the LLC "pass through" the business to the LLC owners (called members), who report this information on their personal tax returns. The LLC itself does not pay federal income taxes, but some states impose an annual tax on LLCs.
    Income Taxes

The IRS treats your LLC like a sole proprietorship or a partnership, depending on the number of members in your LLC. If you've already done business as a sole proprietorship or partnership, you're ahead of the game because you know many of the rules already. If not, here are the basics:
    Single-Owner LLCs

The IRS treats one-member LLCs as sole proprietorships for tax purposes. This means that the LLC itself does not pay taxes and does not have to file a return with the IRS.

As the sole owner of your LLC, you must report all profits (or losses) of the LLC on Schedule C and submit it with your 1040 tax return. Even if you leave profits in the company's bank account at the end of the year -- for instance, to cover future expenses or expand the business -- you must pay income tax on that money.
    Multi-Owner LLCs

The IRS treats co-owned LLCs as partnerships for tax purposes. Like one-member LLCs, co-owned LLCs do not pay taxes on business income; instead, the LLC owners each pay taxes on their lawful share of the profits on their personal income tax returns (with Schedule E attached). Each LLC member's share of profits and losses, called a distributive share, should be set out in the LLC operating agreement.

Plus an LLC, unlike a Corporation allows you to limite your liability and cover your ass. Hmmmmm

A Limited Liability Company (LLC) is a business structure allowed by state statute. LLCs are popular because, similar to a corporation, owners have limited personal liability for the debts and actions of the LLC. Other features of LLCs are more like a partnership, providing management flexibility and the benefit of pass-through taxation.

Owners of an LLC are called members. Since most states do not restrict ownership, members may include individuals, corporations, other LLCs and foreign entities. There is no maximum number of members. Most states also permit “single member” LLCs, those having only one owner.

A few types of businesses generally cannot be LLCs, such as banks and insurance companies. Check your state’s requirements and the federal tax regulations for further information. There are special rules for foreign LLCs.

The federal government does not recognize an LLC as a classification for federal tax purposes. An LLC business entity must file as a corporation, partnership or sole proprietorship tax return.

This is much the same here, LTM and an excellent point. Here is the definition in the US:

A trademark includes any word, name, symbol, or device, or any combination, used, or intended to be used, in commerce to identify and distinguish the goods of one manufacturer or seller from goods manufactured or sold by others, and to indicate the source of the goods. In short, a trademark is a brand name. That's it.

I can still find no Patent for this product either. Hmmmmmmm

Re: Trey White's Evolv Water vs. World Renowned MD Anderson Cancer Center

Found this on the Cartoon Network:

Let’s look at this from a business perspective…

    Cons:

    1) Miracle cure – miracle cures make up 99% of cons throughout the history of humankind
    2) MLM structure to sales – MLM structures are used in many cons (not quite 99% but a significant amount)
    3) Lab involved in testing is suing for misrepresentation
    4) CEO claims to be a billionaire, isn’t.
    5) Labelling ripped off from another product
    6) CEO involved in company which had CEO jailed for, among a string of other things, artifically inflating revenue. CEO of evolve actually lists involvment in this company in his CV as if it’s something to be proud of.
    7) CEO claims to have companies making tons of cash, doesn’t.

    Pros…

    1) Friend said it made him/her feel ‘more energetic’.

    Rather amusing......and apparently the truth.

And if you COULD find a patent for "Archaea Active solution" then what ???

Holding a "patent" only means no one else can produce and/or market "Archaea Active solution"

It does NOT mean "Archaea Active solution" does what Evolv claims it does.

It does NOT mean the US Government has tested the product.

Here is a product holding a US patent:

    So,

    now Evolv has 2 problems:

    1) No one can find the relevant patent

    2) Even IF there is a patent, so-bloody-what ??

Who on earth would want to steal the idea anyway, other than another bunch of fraudsters ???

The only reason that I was looking for a patent (and I realize what a patent is) is that I keep seeing many of the touters of this crap saying it has a "patent", but I cannot find one.

I'm still scratching my head over that one myself.

The dude that fancies himself a cartoonist is also a Evolv distributor - but still puts the product down - I think he is anyhow.

    As he explains it...

I’m going to try to get some info to you folks in the form of a hopefully funny comic series, yes, all focused around EVOLV. Shameless pitchman, am I! But it’s a fantastic product and opportunity with stellar research and amazingly successful business minds behind it.

    As he explains it...

So don't blame me - he's the one that thinks "homophobic slurs" are hopefully funny.
Wow! I have been looking at that site and copied and pasted some things from it above, but never saw that. That is really disturbing and not the least bit funny. What kinda of "distributors" does this company have? They don't have guidelines of what they can post on the net obviously. He actually thinks that this kind of bigoted, sick mentality is going to entice people to sign up under him? What a complete an utter asshole. Did you catch this "explanation" of what Evolv is?

Basically, it’s water. Not just ‘water’ water, but a water that has developed for I think about 15 years at MD Anderson (world famous for cancer research, google it), that is processed in such a way as to oxygenate your system. Not like these phony ‘oxygen water’s you find at Whole Foods or Amway (Quixtar, sorry… lol)… but the process actually allows your cells to oxygenate themselves.
15 years in development at MD Anderson, you say?

    Hmmm....

Doesn't "Trey" sound a little better than Roscoe? Here is a little bit more:

I don’t think any of the criticisms people are making here are particularly unique to the concept of MLMs. There are established and legitimate MLMs out there that, assuming you understand the nature of the business, it’d be reasonable to invest in.

Comparing someone at the bottom of the chain to Warren Buffett/Berkshire Hathaway purchasing Pampered Chef is willfully obtuse, though. And yes, Donald Trump has a string of failures and bankruptcies behind him that would make me dubious about sinking my money into his venture as well.

But again, none of this has to do with the actual criticisms people have been making.

Trey White, aka Fred White III, aka Roscoe F. White III is not Warren Buffett. He’s not Donald Trump.

He’s a guy who (alongside his dad) set up homestore.com, which was a big successful company during the dot com bubble and then fizzled into very little in the midst of plummeting stock prices, DOJ investigations, class action lawsuits, misleading financial statements and etc.

Since then, he’s run a number of different companies out of one office, the only one of them that shows up often in third-party sources is White Energy, which as you’ve acknowledged, went bankrupt.

Trey White and Evolv have done a great deal of work to make sure that their sites (or link to their sites, or postings made to point to their sites) are the only things that show up on web searches. Once you get beyond those self-generated hype pieces, there’s almost nothing about White or any of his companies online. There’s no independent verification of just about any of his claims, and when third parties chime in, they are generally — like MD Anderson — contesting White’s claims.

These would all be red flags if he wasn’t running an MLM too. As would the patently absurd claims made about the product.
