Simple Wealth Creators: Anyone encounter this scam?

I was going to ask if this was a scam, but it's so freaking obvious. It looks like it's relatively new, but it may be an old MLM with a new name. It's difficult to get any info on this thing beyond the different suite levels since the main website is just a capture page. Besides this, there are so many other red flags I don't know where to start.

For one thing, I can't find out who the founder is. Secondly, there are a bunch of YouTube videos mostly by one person boasting of making thousands of dollars from this thing when the company was barely a few days old. What's more, this person has put out hundreds of videos over the years in which he promotes so many different MLM scams it's difficult to keep track of them all. And of course he claims he's making a ton of money from all of them. Apparently, you can make 70% commission from Simple Wealth Creators, which is also very suspicious.

What really sickens me though is I have online friends who follow the character mentioned above who keeps promoting Simple Wealth Creators, and I can't figure out why. What can be done about this?

Yep you got it because an MLM by any other name is still an MLM. MLM stands for multi level marketing which is something you do thus nothing has changed.

I was just sitting by the pool relaxing and I got up off my stack of millions to come in and make a You-Tube video. I'll tell you about a company, let's call it Santa Claus LLC Wealth Creators and Sleigh Makers. They were nice enough to set up a call center that does everything for you and pays you 70% for you nothingness. All you have to do is get a bunch of money sent in first. When has a proposition like that ever turned out to be a scam?

I never really believed the stories about Don Lapre hanging himself, I've finally confirmed my suspicions seeing him yucking it up as Brando Frye on the interwebs.

Brandon Frye can't spot or chooses to ignore an illegal cash gifting scam, and a rebooted one at that. He is willing to commit wire and securities fraud in the process of costing people a bunch of money. What's not to like about this new can't miss opportunity? As soon as I unload the 200 cases of "The Greatest Vitamin in the World" sitting in tool shed I'm going all in.

Re: Simple Wealth Creators: Anyone encounter this scam?

After this video I'll get a little more serious, but not much.

Here's the run of the mill used in numerous identical scams products this scheme is foisting to give this ruse an air of legality. Make no mistake it's not.

    Social media training
    Webinar hosting training
    Ebook about prospecting
    YouTube advertising training
    Sales funnel training
    Mindset development

If these products had even some merit they would use their alleged call center to market direct to the public. They wouldn't need suckers sending money first under the guise of having their own business and passive income.

Since there are no discernible retail sales (sales to people smart enough not to be in this scheme) Simple Wealth Creators is an illegal Pyramid Scheme.

Koscot Pyramid Test, often shortened to Koscot Test. It has four parts:

    (1) Payment of money to the company;
    (2) The participant receives the right to sell a product (or service);
    (3) The participant receives compensation for recruiting others into the program;
    (4) The compensation is unrelated to the sale of products (or services) to the ultimate user.

Koscot case has been referred to in every suspect pyramid scheme case since 1975.

A (MLM) Skeptic: MLM Dictionary: Koscot Test

The law and the math havn't changed since Liberty League International had its virtually identical scam shuttered.

Thanks for sharing that. Does Arizona have lax laws when it comes to pyramid schemes? Although that Liberty League International was located in Arizona and was shut down, the Simple Wealth Creators website also appears to be registered in Arizona, where Brandon Frye happens to live(in fact, very very close). Interestingly enough, another prolific MLM-bot by the name of Brandon Odom lives in Arizona(whats with cons named "Brandon"?). I suspect Simple Wealth Creators is a reboot of Big Profit System, but could be wrong.

I find it stunning how many scams this Frye character is involved in and the sheer number of videos he does promoting them. And they're all the scammiest of scams, pure pyramid schemes with no retailable products. Most people I know who get sucked into these things do them short-term and don't do so many. But Brandon seems like a deeply, deeply disturbed individual who is both totally lacking in basic critical thinking or any thinking skills and honesty. I find it astonishing that anyone falls for his crap; even if what he is doing is legitimate, it's so extremely tacky, all these "look at all these checks I get in the mail!" kind of videos. Call me naive, but I will continue to report these videos to YouTube. If enough people report them, I think his account could be in jeopardy.

Yes, does remind me a lot of Dan Lapre. It's amazing really, just how many scams this Brandon is involved in. I've never seen anything like it before. I've seen people do 1 maybe 2 MLMs and that was that. I wonder how much trouble he could get into for the mail fraud, he actually shows videos of himself preparing the postcards he sends out to promote his scams. I also wondered if he could get in trouble for securities fraud due to pushing this pyramid scheme/pseudo-Forex trading platform called iMarketslive, but somehow all the videos he used to promote this scam have been removed from his account. Fortunately, they're still available through other accounts https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4pqCL18Wx-g and on Vimeo if you need a good laugh and in case the almost always inept SEC wants to have a look.

Law enforcement is grossly understaffed and underfunded, so the vast majority of scams fly under the radar. That is precisely why sites like this are so needed. Keep the posts coming!

Exactly. It would be great if law enforcement was willing to work with us a little more closely. It seems if you keep your scams small enough, the authorities will ignore you.

It's funny if you look a little closely at the screenshot above of Frye's scam promoting videos, there's one video where he discusses the importance of "integrity". I mean, really, where does this serial con-artist get off lecturing others about integrity? I can't understand anyone sending him checks, he comes off as very sleazy, insincere and unlikable. Or is that just me?

Even the lager fraud peddlers generally slip under the radar which is unfortunate. Same problem in this country with bent stockbrokers that jump from firm to firm with impunity. Although I can think of at least two promoters that lost professional licenses because of sites like this, and probably this site itself. Warning people about what they're up to is the biggest bang for the buck, most of us do some contacting behind the scenes as well. Hell, just your pointing this guy out and a few hundred views on this thread cost him a few sales. It's a game of inches, but makes for a fun hobby.

Most of these promoters I struggle with the why of people following them. Especially with the internet where their storied failures can be cataloged in excruciating detail. I had never seen Frye before, comes across as a garden variety huckster. Probably has a J.O.B. at the record store and grifting supplements his meager income. Very few are able to do it full time, and almost all embellish how good they have it.

Check out this link, it's a parody but pretty uncanny how many charlatans follow this model.

At first I thought it be a waste of time posting about Simple Wealth Creators and Frye on this forum. He's a small-time con, there are bigger fish to Frye. But then I realise he may be screwing a lot of people, and all the big charlatans started out so small. I hope that I am making a difference by warning others about it, whatever this thing be, it isn't on the radar of the beloved scam-busting sites yet.

It boggles the mind how anyone follows him. 4,317 "friends" and 2,382 followers on Facebook, https://www.facebook.com/Fryebrandon
I crossed paths with him long ago and followed him for a bit but never got recruited in his scams. Some friends say they finded him "inspirational". These followers, assumes real they are, seem like low-information, desperate people. But then I know some very well-educated people who follow peeps like Frye, and they can never explain to me why when they never interaction with them and they've told me they hate network marketers. Maybe they just afraid of losing a follower?

The most troubling things to me is how the people who are supposedly writing him the checks that he's always showing off on screen can no be bothered to google the scam companies he's pushing. Almost all them are covered in great detale on various scam-buster type websites.

That parody is pretty funny! Sorry about my English, my husband wasn't here to help tonight.

If it helps any, his name is Christopher Brandon Frye and a search on "2910 S Greenfield Rd Unit 2081" will find a fair number of his websites.

Re: Simple Wealth Creators: Anyone encounter this scam?

Over time, there's several things you'll come to realize WRT the likes of Frye and his followers.

    * A number of members are ponzi and pyramid "players" They know exactly what they're doing and view money games as just another form of "gambling" albeit illegal.

    * A not insignificant number of the gambler / members are unofficial "insiders" so to speak. Their purpose is to add credibility to the scheme, thus ensuring it will continue long enough for them to cover their initial stake and move into profit. The fact they are doing so at the expense of those who joined after them is of no consequence. Money is their only goal.

    * Money games of all types require new "blood" They cannot survive without a continual flow of new members and they money they bring into the game. They DEFINITELY can't survive with only "players" In fact, "hit-and-run" players are the bane of ponzi fraudsters. Nothing will collapse a ponzi faster than players who (think) they are smart enough to withdraw their initial stake as fast as possible.

    * "Flashing the cash" is an integral part of online fraud. Which is why it is illegal:

An earnings claim is a statement made by a company or its representative about the income an individual can earn from a business opportunity. The FTC requires any earning claims be presented in writing; any claims not supported by written documents are illegal. According to Ms. Kopec, the Earning Claims Statement must include:

    • The name of the person making the claim and the date
    • The specifics of the claim
    • The start and end date those earnings were achieved
    • The number and percentage of your buyers who got at least that result
    • Any information about the buyers who got those results that might vary from prospective buyers – for example, where they’re located
    • A statement that prospective buyers can get written proof for your earnings claims if they ask for it

    Two things:

If he is a small fish all the easier to put a dent in his already meager scam income.

All these scams are the same, regardless of size. Endless chain recruiting spells Pyramid/Ponzi ALWAYS. Never been an exception, never will. As soon as people learn that they have all they need to know to avoid those scams anyhow. If a thread like this brought them here, and six months from now they hear about some other latest and greatest they'll know.

The way you describe it reminds me so much of people who play penny stocks. In essence, it's the same thing. It's also gambling, with the favorite mantra being "get in early!" Many people think they can play these "pump and dump" schemes right, but in the end they almost always lose. The insiders and those connected to them are the only ones making money, and they hate the people who cash out quickly. The biggest difference though is that people who try to manipulate penny stocks on the internet usually try to do it anonymously, they don't flash a big wad of checks in videos and take a million selfies with the same big phony smile in all of them. I think this is why MLM is worse, reputation wise, for the promoters. Creating hundreds of videos to show the world what a huckster and asshat you are, that kind of thing never goes away.

Been a few years! Update on BF:

    1) Prelim injunction granted against DIS promoter Brandon Frye

    2) FTC seeks def judgment against Brandon Frye & Kaitlyn Scott

It looks like he's in very serious trouble with the feds for his involvement in a scam called "Digital Income System", along with several others. Assets frozen and he keeps failing to appear in court and appears to not be using a lawyer. All his once very active social media accounts are dormant. Also said to have been in jail recently for DUI. How do you think things will turn out for him?
