Re: Profitable Sunrise HYIP - Has anybody dug through it yet?
Isnt it likely that those who have been summoned for depositions just plead the 5th and that will be the end of it?
If its listed at the Talk Gold ponzi and crime forum its a SCAM.

You cant plead the 5th in a deposition. You are required to answer. If you try it they can get you for contempt. They can have an attorney present to make sure their rights arent violated

John Schepcoff is not stupid. He knows how to evade taxes and hide money because he is saying the right things. I know quite a bit about setting up offshore foundations and corporations since I used to do this myself. If he has indeed moved his money to Panama or Costa Rica it will be hard to ever find it. The only way to find the money would be to make the lawyer who set up the foundation to talk.

There are options:

that's not true, you can always invoke your 5th amendment rights, but they can offer you immunity and then you have to answer the questions.

Re: Profitable Sunrise HYIP - Has anybody dug through it yet?
I don't have an account anymore at MMG to post but was reading the PS thread a little while ago. It is amazing that people believe that Roman would have made the Easter payments. These people do not understand ponzi math very well. The GOV only found around 11 million dollars. With well over 30 million invested with perhaps half in the long hall you should clearly be able to see there would have been a Huge deficit. Only on MMG I guess.

Just4Fun post on the MMG HYIP ponzi forum
What a perfect example of how HYIP ponzi shills and pimps try and baffle people into falling for the impossible.
Let's forget the "long haul" plan was for 240 days and NOT 78 days.
Let's forget that Profitable Sunrise itself said there was $250 MILLION dollars invested in the "long haul plan"
Instead of trying to dazzle 'em with brilliance, lets' baffle 'em with bull****

Re: Profitable Sunrise HYIP - Has anybody dug through it yet?
This is an e-mail put out by Don Gillette (huge promoter of Prosun with 5000 + in his downline ) and his sidekick Pete Cameron (Pete held Q&A sessions 2 or more times per week)
They had been saying up until this point that they were pinging the website and it was still live and had 100% confidence that Roman would pay out the Easter gift.
Look how much they changed their tune now:
Important Profitable Sunrise Update
To Fellow Members of the Circle of Excellence,
We are very sad to have to inform you that it is now time to face the facts; Profitable Sunrise is not coming back. The servers have been completely shut down and are all off-line, Roman Novak and his brother have disappeared without a trace and the US government has initiated legal proceedings against Profitable Sunrise including freezing their bank accounts.
Now, some of you may want to fire off a nasty email to us in response to this; we kindly ask that you please refrain from doing so. Pete and I are just as devastated as you are. We had our hopes and dreams pinned on this program and now all of those hopes have been dashed.
But, we also understand, that as unpleasant as they may be, setbacks are a part of life and we need to move on, pick ourselves up and find an opportunity that's real and is structured to be in business for the long term.
When it comes to business, Pete and I have the same philosophy, “Hope for the best but plan for the worst”. Since the day the Profitable Sunrise website went down, we have been working on a number of contingency plans in the event that it did not come back up. We knew that if Profitable Sunrise disappeared, both we and many of the people we work with would need a way to replace the income they lost so we went to work evaluating dozens of different programs.
From the outset, we decided that for a program to be suitable, if must meet the following criteria:
1. The program must pay very quickly and frequently (preferably daily).
2. The program must have a real product. (This is absolutely essential as
we want it to be here for the long term.)
3. The program cannot involve selling soap, pills, vitamins, weight loss
products, lotions or potions.
4. The program must have a very low startup fee and no monthly fees.
5. The program must have a realistic earning potential of at least $500
a day or more.
Now the good news. We found a program that meets all these requirements!
Now, we’re sure that many of you must have a number of questions. So Pete and I will be holding an informational webinar to provide you will additional information and to answer all of your questions. We want to make one point clear; the subject of this webinar will be on how you can recover financially utilizing this new program; the focus of the webinar will not be on discussing the current situation with Profitable Sunrise.
Here is the information in regards to the webinar that will be helfd tomorrow:
A Circle of Excellence Special Webinar - A New Beginning
Join us for a webinar on Monday, April 08, 2013 at 11:00 AM EDT.

https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/reg...79778979720960
After registering, you will receive a confirmation
email containing information about joining the webinar.
We also want to point out that we will respect each person’s downline; we will be very careful to ensure that each person’s downline will be in the same hierarchy as they were with Profitable Sunrise.
We wish you all they very best in this very difficult time and we want you to know that if we stick together and work as a team, we will get through this!
Always here for you,
Don and Pete
P.S. We have some positive information to share with you! Pete and I will be creating a recorded presentation video that will be uploaded onto YouTube tomorrow for you to send your prospects to. This will make building your team very easy.
P.P.S. This program that we will be highlighting in the webinar tomorrow does indeed pay very quickly and can make it possible for you to see money flowing into your Solid Trust Pay account as early as this Tuesday and each day thereafter!
Here for you,
Don
P.S. Pete and I are still being inundated with phone calls, emails and text messages. Please hold your questions about Profitable Sunrise. Once again, if you need information, you can read the email updates we send out.

As Gregg said, you can claim the Fifth Amendment privilege at a deposition. You can claim it at any proceeding, no matter how formal (trial or grand jury) or informal (private conversation with a cop). You can't, however, simply refuse to answer any questions al all, or claim the privilege in response to any question you want. You must have a "well-founded belief" that your answer to the specific question could incriminate you.
Witnesses who make a blanket Fifth Amendment claim face a motion to compel, and from some judges likely sanctions.

To Fellow Members of the Circle of Excellence,
Don and Pete, just a suggestion but "Circle of Excellence" needs a name change. Perhaps "Circle of Destruction", "Circular Firing Squad" and since this is a family thread I will just say consider replacing "of Excellence" with the word "Jerk". Anyone who even considers following these clowns in to another venture deserves to lose every penny.

I notice that nowhere in that drivel did they state that the program must be legal.....

I believe we would be staggered by the % who lose again.

It has been confirmed that Nanci Jo's son, Taylor, is suffering from a serious head injury and was back in the hospital at the last report received. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Nanci and her family, and for the doctors to find a fix for his injury so Taylor has a full and speedy recovery.
