    Re: onecoin.eu ponzi scam

OneCoin has been a train wreck in slow motion since early 2017. Sadly the participants haven't realized that OneCoin went bust when Ruja did her runner and hasn't been seen or heard from since. Konstantin's role is to keep the illusion alive so the masses don't rush to the authorities filing complaints en masse. Mark Scott's arrest has been kept quiet from the membership, and of course when it is asked about the standard BS answer is that he has nothing to do with OC, OC is not a Ponzi, and OC has no MLM revenue. In many blogs and FB pages anyone posting anything about it the post is deleted and the excuse is that is nothing more than haters blowing things out of proportion. Of course OC has no MLM revenue, they got rid of all their major MLM pimps between July 2016 and the first quarter of 2017.

It remains to be seen how much longer the multi-national criminal investigation is going to take before it is over. No doubt the charges filed and the arrest of Mark Scott was the first salvo fired by the authorities. Hopefully more charges and arrests are soon to be filed and arrests made.

    Re: onecoin.eu ponzi scam

Well, today was the big day for all the members of OC who traded their OneCoins for OFC's were to be able to exchange them back to OneCoins. All the big hype about today happening, and guess what? Yep, ZIP, ZERO, NADA, NOTHING, NIL NOT A PEEP, NO EXPLANATION.

One of the strongest supporters of OneCoin on Igor's blog, who relished thinking he had destroyed anyone who was exposing OneCoin for the Ponzi it is, isn't real happy, as well as a few other OC'ers. Here's flatrate expressing his displeasure and just might be waking up he has been scammed after all, and I quote:

"onecoinpeet: In other words, this information is about OneCoins ("coins") that are aquired through this sale of OFC's.. And not about the millions (Billions?) of OneCoins that have been aquired through the MLMNetwork, with buying educational packages etc., by the members. Where do we find information about OUR OneCoins???"

flatrate: onecoinpeet, this is exactly what i have been trying to decipher from company/upline for months. i do not know about the ICO and at this point don't give a flying fart about it either. my upline said wait until August 22 for Big Reveal, then they said Sept 8th, then they told me all will be clear NOW... still nothing. i'm a straight shooter always have been always will be so do not take this the wrong way. my upline is huge into DS (asian) and they are not happy. i hope the company is reading this forum because IGOR has done a bang up job keeping it civil and expelling straight jacket tim and gang, but they have a very big job to do .... NOW.. not next year. the time for RA RA speeches are over.

first, DS needs to be addressed like last year. the people who are actively selling goods and services need to be compensated if they so wish. the people believed in ONE and built DS on nothing more than a promise. it would be like if your a contractor building a home for a year and when the home is built the contractor does not get paid, but only the builder. get my drift ?

second, the pathetic news flow from the company has left millions of people in the dark about the OFC process. i am pissed the f>>>>k about it for several reasons. ruja pushed this OFC business. there is no doubt about it. now, not a farkin word ???? the millions who own OFC's now have to get lumped into the long ICO process that nobody knows nothing about ???? i want my ONE back NOW. i have more but i'll leave it

IGOR, I understand your sentiment about not caring about the ICO because frankly i do not care either, but according to their last RaRa session one would assume our OFC's are lumped into that ICO process. absolutely NO EXCUSE to keep millions of people in the dark about the OFC nightmare. remember, ruja pushed these damn things !!!! the OFC website is still active and states i can exchange my OFC's to ONE TODAY. NOT TOMORROW. NOT NEXT YEAR. TODAY... DRUM ROLL...... HOW ?

luival, yes, Igor has done a fantastic job on this forum and we all owe him a debt of gratitude. if not for him we would all know less than zero. smells like more can kicking to me friend. i honesty can not do another RaRa speech at this point. i have long since stopped following the every move of this dysfunctional company for sanity reasons, i just want to convert my OFC's at this point. the company needs to tell us how to convert them today 10/8/2018 or they risk further potential lawsuits IMO."

Another faithful follower, Emmanu had this to say and again I quote:

"Why is the coin offering site still not functional for purchase of ofc? ....what is really happening concerning onecoin.....no information ....they are really killing the trust the members have.....I swear down

The sales of ofc is suppose to begin today, but the site is still not functional and we still haven't gotten relevant information. Why ?...,please answer igor

But we need to care even though we are not buying, because if ofcs are not sold or if there is no coin offering, there might be no trade come January 2019....at least we need to get some tangible news after the Melbourne expo

Deeply speaking they are not giving us reason to believe they have us in mind or have hope or believe them..... because I wonder why up till this moment we are still kept in the dark without any news, no new dealshaker, nothing....this is painful I must say ....we invested and we've stayed this long because we believe them, they should really show working......we need work and result not all these ..."

After these and couple of other posts were made on Igor's blog expressing their dissatisfaction with zero communications from the company, this rushed announcement was made:

Good news on https://onecoinico.io/ Dear contributors, Please be informed that a new email for the Offering has been created, namely: SUPPORT@ONECOINICO.IO In case you have any inquiries, do not hesitate to contact us. Please be patient, the Offering is about to start really soon!

How comforting that the offering is about to start REALLY SOON. Not just SOON, but REALLY SOON!. I'm sure this great news has eased the minds of all those who are upset about the OFC not happening. All this did was to buy more stalling time for OneCoin. Only one problem, this may have been a prank on the members of OneCoin and not real.

Amazing how when a Ponzi gets in trouble everything is coming soon, but let's define what soon means in Ponzi speak. SOON means that we will delay this as long as we can without any news until the complaints start en masse before we have to give an explanation. Of course the explanation is that there were internal problems with the system, and it has taken longer to fix than expected. But REALLY SOON means we plan on keeping you in the dark for at least another 4-6 weeks. We just need this amount of time to come up with a plausible excuse we believe that will satisfy all of you to allow us more time to make you think we are really doing something, which we aren't. Well, they are doing something, just coming up with more excuses to continue nothing happening that you will continue to believe us.

There was a big Rah, Rah meeting in Melbourne that Konstantin was to have attended. Sadly his plane broke down and he couldn't get a regular ticket in time to make the event. You can't make this stuff up folks. That really was the excuse he gave. Funny how that corporate jet can get him anywhere in the world but not Australia especially just before the big bust of the OFC transfer that was to happen today, but didn't. Maybe they forgot to pay the rental bill for the plane. As the old saying goes, "when you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen." He just refused to get in the kitchen. You know all those pesky questions that he didn't want to and couldn't face to answer like the OFC offering, the ICO roll-out, why Deal Shaker still doesn't work right as promised, and the list goes on and on and on.

Poor Igor had to start a new thread on his blog and he gave his explanation as to why nothing has happened as planned. It's why they call him the CEO (Chief Excuse Officer). Of course he blamed it on the investigation, but assured everyone that they found nothing; which is a lie, but hey this is OneCoin we are talking about here. Everything is a lie.

And Ruja still is in hiding (she had death threats don't you know) oh wait, she needed a vacation, she needed to spend time with her daughter, can't wait for the next excuse as to why she's a no-show:but the faithful are so desperate they are showing past videos of her to try to convince people she made them now.

Poor Igor, now he makes any new poster comply with his new rules, and I quote:

"Because now and then some hater tries to infiltrate here and troll, I ask people to send me their username to PM so I can check with the company if they are just critics or haters. So I can leave him here or ban so please provide your username to my personal message"

He's got his hands full of the members complaining about zero information about the OFC that was to have happened yesterday to have to contend with "haters" that snuck into his blog before he could catch them. Bad for business if you have "haters" posting the truth on his blog for all to see.

Igor is running scared that this is over and OC is about to do a runner. Not one deadline has been met EVER. Still no word about OFC exchange rate to OC's promised yesterday. DealShaker is still a mess after they said the new and improved version would be live yesterday; and the list goes on and on and on and on.

Igor Krnic would just LOVE to be important enough for people to bother "hating" on him.

    But, he's not.

He's just a stubborn low level ponzi player who is either too arrogant or too stupid to accept the fact he has been right royally stitched up by experts

It is really very simple. Anyone who says anything "negative" about OneCoin is a hater and there are no critics. You only have believers and haters.

    Re: onecoin.eu ponzi scam

Well, OneCoin finally met a deadline. They said they would release their white paper last night and they did. Only one itsy-bitsy, teeniei-weenie problem...if you are in the US you cannot read it. You are banned from the website to read anything let alone the white paper. Makes me wonder how many other countries are also banned from being able to read it. Seems IP's were previously blocked from any country that had issued a warning about OC, had taken some kind of action against them, or there was an announced investigation ongoing. That eliminates about every country in the EU and China, Vietnam, and a couple of others who announced some kind of action against OC. But it is not a Ponzi.

    Re: onecoin.eu ponzi scam

Seems members are having issues with the information contained in the "White Paper" of OC. This from one of Igor's posters, and I quote:

"From the whitepaper, page 15: Participants register for the Offering on www.onecoinico.io by either clicking on “Participate” to start the registration process. Depending on the choice of participating as a company or an individual, participants will be asked to submit the relevant KYC/KYB information.

THERE IS NO PARTICIPATE BUTTON, we cant even start the registration process"

And Igor's brilliant response, and I quote:

"It is obviously not ready yet. The whole sales system, I heard they will now start advertising this on the internet. Probably then, they will add Participate too. It all is kinda off the schedule but then again, it's not like possible investors are going anywhere"

The "White Paper" is a joke and is exactly what all the critics, oops "haters" said it would be a simple copy, cut and paste from the previous white paper and other sources. In the paper it mentions SILO, which was SILO Capital Group, the old company that was to handle the previous "offering" instead of the company that is handling the current ICO. These people can't even write their own material but have to take it from others to make it sound like it is theirs. They even took content from the Bitcoin white paper and included it in theirs. But wait, I thought OC was the dragon slayer of Bitcoin?

I guess OC didn't consider that people would expect things said in the white paper to be true and work now, not later when they might get around to making them work. But OC is not a Ponzi.

    Re: onecoin.eu ponzi scam

Members of OneCoin may be starting to see the light. One of the members who has bought a lot of OneCoins and is a believer just made a video that he methodically exposes all the things that us "haters" have seen since day one. If he had bothered to do his due diligence then, as he has now, he would never have joined in the first place. This is one of the best videos that explains all the issues of OneCoin but you can be sure he will be attacked for this video. In fact it was posted at Igor's blog and Igor responded that he didn't watch it, wouldn't waste his time watching it, and had no intention of watching it, and then went into a long dissertation about the video. Rather odd since he says he didn't watch it, etc., etc.. Didn't watch it my a$$et$ Igor. What an arse you are.

    Here's the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_twFdERmG1Y

    Re: onecoin.eu ponzi scam

What do you do when questions start being asked that are too uncomfortable to answer, about issues you don't want to deal with, or you realize your answers are being exposed for lies? As with all defenders of a Ponzi as Igor has done you just delete them all, including your responses so as not to break the continuity in the thread. And then when queried as to what happened to them, you ignore the posts.

Poor Igor is starting to crack from all the fumbling and bumbling of OC, and it is getting harder and harder to defend them. And more and more of the "faithful" are beginning to wake up on his blog and ask questions Igor doesn't want to answer.

And to add insult to injury the new ICO offering is not going well. We know this because even Igor is not touting it on his blog, nor is it being touted on the Facebook pages. This is running out of gas. It still has gas in the tank, but it is only about 1/4 full. The failure of this 4-stage ICO is going to be their death knell.

    Re: onecoin.eu ponzi scam

Back in May, The Central Bank of Samoa released this announcement:

    As per a media release published on the Central Bank of Samoa’s website on May 3rd;

It has come to our attention that there are still a large number of people wanting to remit or transfer money out of Samoa to invest in this Onecoin cryptocurrency promotion. This is despite warnings by CBS that there is a very high risk that Onecoin cryptocurrency promotion is a pyramid scheme (an illegal money making investment).

As a result the CBS has decided to block all approvals for any transactions relating to the Onecoin cryptocurrency. This also ensures the protection of Samoa’s foreign currency reserves, which is at risk due to the high number of people wanting to remit money overseas for this get rich quick scheme. Samoa’s OneCoin ban will remain in place until CBS has assessed that there is no longer a risk to the public and our economy.

On October 17, Samoan Prime Minister Tuilaepa Aiono Sailele Malielegaoi said he is wary of attempts to promote OneCoin locally, and cautioned the public against investing in the One Coin cryptocurrency.

When I dared to post the comments of the Head of the Samoan Central Bank and her actions, Igor said OC was not banned in Samoa as I had claimed. Then I posted her second statement where she said OC was banned in Samoa until further notice, he banned me from his blog since I proved he lied.

Samoa is not one of the major hotbeds for the number of members in OC, but the pimps of OC were trying to take almost $2 Million from Samoan citizens to invest in OC, which is why she stopped it. Of course, according to Igor, if she had only talked to the management of OC, they could have cleared all of this up and she wouldn't have had to take this action. She is too dumb to figure this out on her own. She believed all the lies told about OC, the haters, the Bitcoin supporters and the evil banks who do not want the competition of OC.

    Re: onecoin.eu ponzi scam

For months now Igor Krnic on his blog has spouted the lie from Konstantin that the German Investigation is over and they found OneCoin had done nothing wrong. Just as he had his followers believing the story, along came an article by Capital Weekly, Bulgaria's business newspaper (over 25 years in business) stating, and I quote:

"In response to our request to the Bielefeld General Prosecutor Gerald Rübsam about the status of the German Investigation into OneCoin, he replied that the investigation was ongoing and there was no clarity as to how long it would take. We are investigating a suspected (an) organized commercial fraud group, money laundering, pyramid sales providing financial services without authorization and providing payment services without permission. The investigation is being conducted against eight suspects, mainly employees of one of the companies of the OneCoin group registered in Germany, Rübsam said, confirming that Ruja Ignatova was one of them. We have no information on where Ruja Ignatova is currently at the moment, he said, stressing that a presumption of innocence applies until a sentence comes into force."

When the faithful from Igor's blog asked about this, he replied, and again I quote:

"This looks like a "news" from capital.bg. Sorry I do not waste time on those articles anymore, only official government documents.
Capital.bg owner is in very bad relation to dr Ruja and they ask Onecoin money to write positive articles so now they act like GerlachReport, writing text without any official source to back it up thus making it no more than yellow media. So behindMLM makes article using two opinions. Mine was made after official statement Onecoin released and capital.bg author made text according to some prosecutor interview and his proof is "go ask him he will tell you that is truth". I mean, come on."

Poor Igor. So asking the lead prosecutor about the investigation is according to Igor "some prosecutor." Too funny Igor, too funny.

Capital Weekly never told OneCoin they would write a positive article about OneCoin if they paid them enough and Igor knows this. Sadly his sycophant followers don't. Igor also doesn't like his being mentioned on other blogs or forums he can't control. He is sick and tired of it because he doesn't name people he disagrees with, cough, cough on his blog. He just bans them and deletes their comments. He can only have people who post "positive" things about OC on his blog.

In other news, the Thai SEC has issued an investor warning about OneCoin and Orientum. They said that OneCoin and Orientum had not registered with them. No digital asset issuer is permitted. No one has filed an application for a license and (details of their business) model with the SEC, so (we are) warn(ing) investors to be cautious.

But OneCoin is not a Ponzi. Just ask Igor.

    Re: onecoin.eu ponzi scam

When members of Igor's blog saw the Capital Weekly article that stated the German Investigation, as Igor calls it, but it is really the multi-national criminal investigation, was not over as he had kept telling everyone it was, he had to come up with a new explanation because some of his members didn't buy his first one I posted above. So here is the new explanation, and of course as usual all of us haters got it wrong, and the Lead Prosecutor on this case got it wrong that Ruja was not under investigation, and I quote:.

There is no mix. Konstantin was talking about an investigation into Onelife IMA unfair practice and Onecoin business model and the existence of the blockchain and seems like that was done by Public Prosecutor’s Office Nürnberg-Fürt and they were ordered to stop proceedings.

Münster Prosecutor office before October 2016 and StA Bielefeld [Bielefeld Public Prosecutor’s Office] after October 2016 up until now are investigating solely based on IMS International transmitting 350 Million EUR from Germany to outside EU without having Bafin license for that and yes they obviously want to find proof of fraud and money laundering but they will not find any cause there is none. They would find it so far.

We all knew Bafin/IMS issue is not yet finished, it is nothing new, haters are just trying to bring FUD (fear uncertainty and doubt) by digging this already heard sentence "Investigation is far from over" cause it was already published several months ago on some blog.

After some silence, haters are now grasping for this sentence that was brought up in Bulgarian news article. But when you read that article you will see they wrote how onecoin got back 3 million EUR because some resolutions were rejected (which is like a one case won) and they also mixed the article with this sentence from allegedly Bielefeld prosecutor "Investigation is far from over and we do not know when it will be finished" just to leave people in "to be or not to be" doubtful situation."

So as you can now see, Igor 3, haters - 0, Lead Prosecutor - 0, Capital Weekly Yellow Journalism - 0. The only people who are confused is Konstantin, Igor and his devout followers. Now he is just embarrassing himself trying to defend OC and Ruja with this total BS. Sadly I am sure many of his sycophant followers will buy this hook, line and sinker. The others know if the challenge him, they will either have their posts deleted or be banned like he has done to a couple of other posters on his blog asking questions too uncomfortable for him to deal with. Funny how that works.

    Re: onecoin.eu ponzi scam

Well, the first round of the ICO launched 10/9 and the "new and improved" Deal Shaker was launched on 11/5. Both are a dud. The ICO has gone nowhere and Deal Shaker instead of offering items for sale 50% OC and 50% Fiat Currency is no longer. Now it is 90% Fiat Currency and only 10% OC. This has been touted as being the right thing to do with the mentally challenged. But even Igor had to admit the ICO and DS are a mess. Want to guess who Igor blames for the failure of the ICO? You get 3 guesses and the first 2 don't count. Yep you got it, "the haters." Here's Igor explaining why the ICO failed, and I quote:

"No I never had interest about that cause it is done very poorly and I don’t think they sold anything unless they had some pre-arranged partners. General public will never buy those bundles because negativity online is too strong. Haters won that one. Keep common people from buying."

Igor is starting to sound like Don Quixote(budi/budigower/John Doel) from SI fame. While you can't fix stupid, we sure can expose it.

    Re: onecoin.eu ponzi scam

After Igor let the cat out of the bag that the ICO bombed, along comes the poster Curry Hater to save the day, and he posted and I quote:

"My upline said that 9000 big investors have bought OFC during this 1st round, INCLUDING BANKS. So according to him, several banks have invested in OneCoin. In addition, 8 exchange platforms have accepted to exchange OneCoin."

Sure the banks did Curry Hater. Any bank that invested in OC would be shut down by the banking regulators. Guess if you are going to tell a porkie, you might as well tell a whopper and this was a whopper. OC on 8 exchanges? Now that's funny. It will be 8 teenie-weenie, itsy-bitsy exchanges in SE Asia somewhere that no-one has ever heard of before. Igor's response to this is going to be hilarious to read.

    Re: onecoin.eu ponzi scam

Igor Krnic is trying to downplay the arrest of Sebastian Greenwood in Thailand and being extradited back to the Us to stand charges. Seems now Igor is calling Sebastian a lowly IMA Master Distributor, of which now there are three. In truth, Sebastian was the ONE and ONLY GLOBAL MASTER DISTRIBUTOR. He was #2 in OneCoin. He and Ruja had been doing business together for over 5 years before joining forces in OneCCoin.

There is no doubt Greenwood's being arrested and brought back to the US has to do with the $400 Million Dollar Money Laundering Charges brought against Mark Scott. There are still unsealed indictments that are expected to be unsealed in the coming weeks. Now the speculation is just who all are included in those sealed indictments This finally may be the death knell for OneCoin and all the crooks involved. One thing is for sure it is going to be really interesting to see "who's next" being arrested and charged.

I have no doubt there are a lot of big winners in OC that are sweating bullets right now wondering if they are next on the list. Out of the six indictments that are sealed, if we count Sebastian as one of those 6 sealed indictments, it means there are 5 left to be unsealed. And that doesn't mean that they US can't add more sealed indictments to the mix.

It's not going to be a very relaxing Christmas season for a lot of the big winners in OC wondering if they are next.

    Re: onecoin.eu ponzi scam

Well, the much awaited official word from OneCoin/OneLife about the OneCoin ICO has now been released, and I quote:

"MUCH ATTENTION COMMUNITY OneLife / Onecoin

    Greetings team very good morning.
All OFC can be converted to ONE on 07.01.2019

OFCO OF ICO PACKAGES: 300 = 1 ONE

OFC, from the Onelife network, 100 = 1 ONE

On 08.01.2019 the exit to the public our ONE takes place with its own exchange platform. This means that the ONE becomes negotiable.

For retailers, an announcement from Konstantin Ignatov, traders may be able to exchange ONE in fiat before 8 / 1/2019.

Basically, dealers have priority for the sale of ONE in Fiat

To sell currencies, there must also be the offer, and here we assume that Onecoin will systematically and strategically create this market demand. The usability of our ONE is always in the foreground.
ONLY A USEFUL CURRENCY HAS AN INTRINSIC VALUE !!!

    RELEASE STRATEGY:

20% of all currencies will be issued for trading on 08.01.2019 and will be negotiable for the period until 8 JULY. Of course, the coins that are in Coinsafe still can not be exchanged. For the remaining 80% of the coins there is also a bonus / interest of 5% coins.

On July 8, 2019 another 30% of the remaining coins will be issued. For the remaining 50% of blocked coins there is a bonus of 10% more coins.

On October 8, 2019 another 30% of the remaining coins will be issued. For the remaining 20% of blocked coins, there is a bonus of 15% more coins.

On January 8, 2020, all remaining coins (20%) will be issued and all coins will be RELEASED.

An example: you have 50,000 ONE and 5,000,000 OFC in your Onelife account

Change the OFC on 07.01.2019 and receive 50,000 ONE coins. In General, you now have 100,000 ONE.
Let's suppose they're not in Coinsafe.

Of the 100,000 ONE, 20% will be issued for the exchange trade on 08.01.2019, so you can exchange 20,000 ONE for the period until July 8, 2019.

In the remaining 80%, which is 80,000 ONE, you also get 5% more coins, so more 4000 ONE and now you have 84,000 ONE that are not yet interchangeable.

Of these 84,000 ONE on July 8, 2019, another 30% will be issued, that is, 25,200 ONE.
There remain 58800 ONE blocked but this number receives a 10% interest in ONE coins, so more than 5,880 ONE that makes a total of 64,680 ONE.

Of these 64,680 ONE will be released on October 8, 2019 again 30%, so 19.404 ONE. So there remain 45,276 ONE for which you get 15% more ONE coins, so 6,791.4 ONE of interest now make 52,067.4 ONE.

On January 8, 2020, the 52,067.4 ARE RELEASED.

It means that you get 16,671.4 ONE more interest coins through the bonds and 100,000 ONE, to make a total of 116,671.

    Comments

This strategy of liberation IS A PROTECTION AGAINST AN EXCESS OF ONE OFFER.

All currencies, included in the Coinsafe, can always be used to make a business in the Dealshaker and this is the goal of Onecoin that we can pay everything with ONE and therefore we do NOT have to sell the coins.

Everything is ready for a gigantic ECOSYSTEM that will KEEP our ONE in circulation.

So, why do I want to sell a currency with which I can buy everything and maintain a value that will continue to rise?

Especially colleagues with few coins, should handle it with caution, but that is the responsibility of each one of you.
Each member of the community is a part of the whole. WE ARE ALL CREATORS OF THE CURRENCY IN MAJOR OR LESS MEASURE.

    INFORMATION IS POWER

    Did you already know this?
What do you plan to do with the information?
    Greetings your friend and server.
    Henry Lascano
    Top leader OneCoin."

After the big promise that this was going to start in Jan 2019, not going to be a lot of happy OC'ers with the continued pushing this off for as long as possible. But I am sure Igor Krnic will do his best to put a positive spin on this and try to keep the troops in line on his blog. At the rate people in OC are being extradited and charged, they wil be lucky to have anyone left by March 2019.

UPDATE: Igor has now disavowed this as being the "official word" from OC, even though it came from one of the few remaining Top Leaders in OC/OL. He said until OC/OL announces it is not official. Only one problem Igor, Henry met with Konstantin and this was the info Konstantin gave him. At least that is what a source who is on the inside told me. So we will have to wait and see if the "official word" is different than what Henry posted.

    Re: onecoin.eu ponzi scam

One of the big push Eagle has made to the authorities is for them to go after the major promoters of these Ponzi's/Illegal Pyramid Schemes/Illegal Cash Gifting Schemes/Scams. When it comes to money laundering, the "money mules" play the same role as the major promoters of the programs. This was just announced about a Multi-National investigation against the "money mules" and their organizers, and I quote:

"Working together with Europol, Eurojust and the European Banking Federation (EBF) , police forces from over 20 States arrested 168 people (so far) as part of a coordinated money laundering crackdown, the European Money Mule Action (EMMA). This international swoop, the fourth of its kind, was intended to tackle the issue of ‘money mules’, who help criminals launder millions of euros worth of dirty money.

Held over the course of the past three months (September-November 2018), this year’s edition of EMMA saw the participation of law enforcement agencies from Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Australia, Moldova, Norway, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Across Europe and beyond, 1504 money mules were identified, leading to the arrest of 168, and 140 money mule organisers. 837 criminal investigations were opened, many of them are still ongoing. More than 300 banks, 20 bank associations and other financial institutions helped to report 26376 fraudulent money mule transactions, preventing a total loss of €36,1 million. The wider community of global and European banks provided support where needed during the three months of action and committed to raising awareness in their country. Once again, this highlights the importance of a quick and coordinated response by law enforcement and the banking sector."

With the arrest of Mark Scott on money laundering charges for OneCoin/OneLife, and then the arrest and extradition of Sebastian Greenwood to the US on the same charges, it seems just a matter of time before those who were the money mules for OC/OL may soon follow. With OneCoin/OneLife being headquartered in Bulgaria, and Bulgaria a part of this task force has to have Ruja shaking in her boots. Up until now Bulgaria has been protecting her, but it seems that protection may be falling apart.

Personally I think Juha Parhiala, Tom McMurrain, Kari Wahlroos, the Steinkiller Brothers have a lot to be worried about as well. Time will tell, but I would love to see all of them charged and arrested, along with Ruja, her brother Konstantin and the money people behind Ruja. Needless to say the next few months are going to be very interesting with the Multi-National Criminal Investigation of OC/OL, the arrests of Mark Scott and Sebastian Greenwood on money laundering charges, and now this "money mule" Multi-National investigation. I believe that the release of the "Panama Papers" is what has triggered all of this.

2019 is definitely going to be a very interesting year to see how this all plays out.
