People in the US can access the OneCoin/OneLife website. It's the back office that the US members can no longer access, or so they claim.

Nope. Not for me at least.
Can't access onecoin.eu or onelife.eu from the front end. I am able to access dealshaker.com and oneforex.eu.
Of course, with such an easy workaround as VPN, the "block" is just window dressing anyway.

I stand corrected as it is know showing OneCoin/OneLife does not accept people from the United States. What is interesting is that I was given links to their website that worked until just about 10 minutes after I posted my comments. Guess they were purging all the links that allowed members from the US to access the website because all the links I was provided no longer work.
Nice catch surfer.

It's been a while since I was able to access the sites, but I believe I had something similar happen.
IIRC, I was getting that no access message when I went directly to the sites, but when I went in via a different link at one point I could access it. And then I couldn't again.
Not interested enough to access it via alternate methods, so I'll just have to suffer.

Re: onecoin.eu ponzi scam
There was speculation that the Macau Police were going to stop the big OneCoin Anniversary Party held in Macau over a week ago. On Friday, Hong Kong and the Macau authorities made this announcement:
Hong Kong and Macau have launched simultaneous shake-ups of the systems they have in place to tackle the growing menace of money laundering, financial crime and the funding of terrorist groups.
In separate yet starkly similar announcements issued late Friday, May 26, financial regulators in both cities stated their “determination” to fight serious financial crime and laundering, underlining the threat they posed to “financial security and stability”.
In a signal that Beijing – whose concerns about capital flight and the movement of corrupt cash are well documented – wants a more co-ordinated approach to tackling the problem, the opening line of the Macau Monetary Authority statement said the upholding of financial security had been “elevated to the national level”.
A golden opportunity to take down one of the biggest money-laundering and Ponzi missed in their own backyard. Hopefully law enforcement did attend and took good notes.

Re: onecoin.eu ponzi scam
We can now add Belize to the list of countries that have issued a warning, cease and desist, outright ban, and have arrested promoters of OneCoin. They announced today their cease and desist order against OneCoin. This had to hurt when a country noted for being a tax haven, and with little or no regulatory oversight, issues you a cease and desist you are in serious trouble of trying to keep claiming you are legal. This is equivalent to Nigeria issuing their warning against OneCoin.
It was also reported that Dubai has banned OneCoin, and that's where Ruja is believed to be hiding out. Still need confirmation, but this is circulating among the crypto-currency community.

OneCoin has hit the big-time! There is an article in The Atlantic, but I don't think OneCoin is going to like what they had to say about them. You can read all about it here: https://www.theatlantic.com/technolo...chemes/528624/

Re: onecoin.eu ponzi scam
NikSam, need your help. Will you translate this announcement from the Central Bank of Macedonia for us please:

Re: onecoin.eu ponzi scam
We can add South Korea to the list of countries that are investigating OneCoin being a criminal enterprise. I am hoping the UK makes their announcement this month into their investigation of OneCoin, along with Sweden and Finland. Hopefully before Ruja runs with the money. I think we are very close to that happening.
Just too many warnings, investigations or outright banning of OneCoin that there are not enough places left they can get enough people joining that have enough money to keep this afloat that much longer. The real crypto-currency community is exposing OneCoin for the Ponzi it is, and this is having a dramatic effect on OnceCoin recruiting efforts. OneCoin cannot tap dance fast enough to stay ahead of the exposure.
The only thing saving OneCoin and Ruja's arse is the Bulgarian government protecting her. If enough pressure is put on the Bulgarian government by the financial community, then this protection will fold like a house of cards and she is toast. She will be long gone before that happens I'm afraid.

Re: onecoin.eu ponzi scam
Hmmm, seems Tom McMurrain has gone MIA. No posts on his FB page since mid-May, and missing from events after the Indian authorities raided an event and arrested 18. Then he cancelled his events in India that were scheduled for the following week after the arrests. Now Tom, if OneCoin is so legal, why would you have to cancel your events scheduled in India? I'm sure with your superior knowledge you could explain to the Indian authorities how they got it all wrong and show them OC is real.
I haven't been able to confirm if he was at the UK event a couple of weeks ago. Usually his appearance is splashed all over the place. Still it is weird he seems to have gone underground. I thought all crooks only did that when they know their Ponzi de Jour is going to do a runner. If I were a OneCoiner, I would be asking what Tom knows that you don't.
Could it be that Tom got "pinched" by the authorities? Any sightings of Tom would be greatly appreciated.

Wannabe Super Promoter Ken Labine crows
"GAME OVER, HATERS!"
Uh-oh ... what happened?
Well, it seems Kari Wahlroos - Onelife Ambassador posted a link to an article!
But wait ... it's not just any link to any article ... the article quotes Georgy Konstantinovich Smirnov!!!
Wow!!! Way cool!!! But wait ... what is this website "baikallife.ru.com" website?
Um, looks like some free website in Russia that somebody put up three months ago and have quickly filled up with nine pages of every bullsh*t rumor ever circulated about Onecoin/Onelife turned into a short "news item" such as mentioned above.
Well, how about if you Google "Georgy Konstantinovich Smirnov"?
A guy that high up in everything would have lots of internet references, right?
Nope.
Ken Labine ... do you have any idea just how stupid and crooked you are going to look when this Ponzi SCAM goes down in flames?

Re: onecoin.eu ponzi scam
OneCoin/OneLife held a rally in Vietnam and claimed that OneCoin was officially licensed in Vietnam and provided a document showing this was true. This after Vietnam had announced they too were investigating OneCoin. Before all the hoopla had died down over this great news, the Vietnam government issued a statement that said the document was forged and a fake. The Vietnamese publication Dau Thau, the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI) issued a statement declaring the document a forgery. It is believed OneCoin CEO Pierre Arens might be the source of the document. Marketing copy from Vietnamese affiliates states he made the announcement at the OneCoin event in Vietnam.
And the list of countries opening investigations into OneLife/OneCoin continue to grow. Now the questions is how much longer can OneCoin go before Ruja pulls the plug and disappears with hundreds of millions of dollars?

It will be interesting to hear what your acquaintance's response is.
According to a poster at BMLM, he is no longer in that position. If that's true, it's yet another example of OC and their reps lying.

Yes, he is no longer with the Investigation Comitee , and was disapointed how they used his name. He said he was talking about cryptocurrencies in general and did not single out onecoin at any time. Onecoiners did some efforts to explain him what Onecoin is and he just took their word for it. And all of it just plans to decriminalize cryptocurrencies which might or might not happen.

Given the fact OneCoin isn't a cryptocurrency, but instead is a ponzi / pyramid scheme disguised as a cryptocurrency, decriminalizing won't make the slightest bit of difference.

Actually it would, it might stop investigators in their tracks, if cryptocurrencies are ok , not likely they will try to sort out all that crypto mumbo-jumbo and whats really behind.

Re: onecoin.eu ponzi scam
I have been in touch with the Norwegian authorities regarding their request the OneCoin promoters contact them with information about their payments from OneCoin. It seemed that some were a little shy, so I thought I would help the authorities with a few of their names so they could contact them. The authorities that contacted me were most appreciative of our assistance.
As I posted earlier, I gave them Rune's name as I know how he likes to do everything legal (cough, cough). Well at least he claims he does but we all know differently. I'm sure the others I provided their names will be as appreciative of my help as Rune is. We believe one is in tax trouble, and another has fled to Sweden. Guess he liked the weather better. Guess he also didn't know that Sweden's Gaming Board declared OneCoin an illegal pyramid and is investigating OneCoin too.
