Re: onecoin.eu ponzi scam
Following Germanys' Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) cease and desist order OneCoin countered with a press release in which it claimed the BaFin announcement referred to the OneCoin subsidiary, IMS, not OneCoin itself.

Today BaFin moved to clarify the situation with another release on the BaFin website

Re: onecoin.eu ponzi scam
They are going to continue for as long as they think they can before the authorities move on them. Still taking in too much money to stop now. They will just come out with a new spin on the story saying BaFin doesn't understand their program and once they contact BaFin OneCoin will be allowed to continue or some such nonsense; or totally ignore it like they did with the Italians kicking them out of the country. Still deny OC was banned in Italy.
It is going to take Finland, Sweden and the UK to do what BaFin did before they run, and run they will. I think Bulgaria is protecting them. It is also suggested that OC is connecte4d to the Russian mob. When they run, everyone is going to lose it all. No charge backs from the banks as all the bank accounts have been closed. I doubt very seriously if there is any substantial money to be frozen should the authorities act add freeze assets. Not sure in whose name the houses/properties that Ruja bought are in, but my guess is it is her mother.
Re: onecoin.eu ponzi scam
Things are definitely heating up with OneCoin. OneCoin'ers were bragging that DHL accepted OneCoin through DealMaker. Then DHL announced that anyone of their reps who accepted OneCoin could be fired. Malta announced a warning against OneCoin. Malta was where OneCoin had previously been registered. The Norwegian authorities had requested permission from OneCoin to attend a recruiting event, but received no reply so they went anyway. Now the Norwegian Gaming Authority are considering an investigation into OneCoin being an illegal pyramid scheme under their laws, and going after their affiliates in Norway. And all of this in just 3 days.
Going to be exciting weeks ahead for OneCoin and all the believers.

Otherwise he would have been all over this deal. You are too funny Ken.

From India comes the word that 18 organizers of a OneCoin rally were arrested on the spot in Navi, Mumbai on Sunday. Plain-clothes police were present and when the presenters solicited 11,900 INR on the promise of a ROI in 2018, they made their move.

Re: onecoin.eu ponzi scam
This is getting very exciting now, hopefully we see the end really soon. My friend has been very quiet lately, no links from Tom McMurrain or Ken Labine coming from him at the moment. Do you think any money invested can be taken out or is all lost?

The only money to date that possibly can be returned to the victims are in Italy and Germany where they have frozen assets. Otherwise everyone else is going to lose it all if they run.
Personally I think the Bulgarian government is protecting Ruja and the major people behind OneCoin. The best anyone can hope for is that the authorities in the countries where OneCoin is doing business shuts them down and freezes assets in their countries. Then members in those countries will have a shot at getting some of their money back. No-one is going to be made whole in this.

And the Mumbai police have arrested 4 more promoters of OneCoin and the investigation continues.
Now you don't suppose that all of these arrests made Tom McMurrain cancel his big India tour? What was I thinking? It was probably deng fever

Is India the only country to have arrested people in connection with OneCoin?

No, China did and Kazakhstan arrested several OC members. Bangladesh also arrested two OneCoin promoters. Laurent Louis from Belgium was charged criminally for promoting OneCoin in Belgium. There may have been one or two more.
Re: onecoin.eu ponzi scam
Well things are going downhill in OneCoin quickly now. China bans the OneCoin event on May 7th at the Studio City Event Center in Macau.
Next up is the OneCoin event to be held by Tom McMurrain in London this Sunday. With all this news, one has to wonder if it too will be cancelled. Tom was to have spoken in India starting today through Sunday but he cancelled after the announcement of the 18 arrests in India (and the 4 subsequent arrests). Too bad the authorities didn't wait until now to make their arrests and they could have landed a big fish. Tom got skeered off. Now if the UK authorities will shut down this Sunday's event it would be a global shock to all OneCoiners.
The end definitely is in sight now. Only question is will Bulgaria get off their duffs and finally arrest her, all the leaders of OneCoin, and people behind this, or will they just allow her to shut it down and slink away with all the money?
Re: onecoin.eu ponzi scam
It would be even better if they busted in to the London event, but I'll take what I can get. I guess we'll see what, if anything, happens.
As for the India arrest, the German banning, the Macau cancellation, I guess we can see the dominoes starting to fall.

I really hope they nab Ruja as her 'credentials' are meant to be top notch!!
