Re: onecoin.eu ponzi scam
For those who want to stay here and watch the video.
Posted by the same YouTuber, did OneCoin ever address how something that Ruja said was impossible to do in 2014 was done with the flick of a switch in 2016?

You should see if you can get your friend to watch the video just posted.
A Ponzi scheme is simply money in money out with a cut for the promoters. This is why independently audited financial statements are so important and often missing. If there are no corresponding expenses and/or transactions relating to revenue a fraud is occurring. One thing I found interesting was transactions between Onecoin wallets were not showing up in the "blockchain" which would be a major red flag. This seems like something non touchy feely your friend could verify.

Sorry but that statement of his made me laugh. WHY? Because there ARE NO COINS IN CIRCULATION and never will be.
If the pimps of this are now making this claim, then this is dying faster than I thought. Even thought there is an attempt to rally the Brits to join OC, the loss of the major promoters there has sent a chill into recruiting. Things are not going well in Asia either. They are running out of victims to fleece. I thought they might possibly make it to October, but at this rate it could be this summer they run. If any of the countries currently investigating them come out and proclaim they are an illegal pyramid scheme, Ruja will run in a heartbeat. She has already squirreled away hundreds of millions of dollars, if not more.
Just had a chance to watch part of his video and take it back it is just an illegal pyramid scheme but a criminal enterprise as well. Not surprised as was told by other sources that there were really, really, really bad characters involved in OneCoin and to be careful. He just confirmed what I was told months ago.

He keeps an eye out on anti OneCoin material, so I'm sure he has watched it. Even if he hasn't, he's so far sucked in that he thinks their operation is airtight. According to him, the Islam brothers were kicked out and lost all their coins and that the story in the papers was falsely reported.

The sooner it is proclaimed to be a ponzi the better. How likely is it that any of these scammers will be jailed?

If it was ran from within US , I would say very likely they will end up in jail.
Now , Bulgaria and the european countries - I would say they more likely will get away with it. Thats just a simple fact, the white collar crime is not really a crime there. They have all required laws there , but in practice they failed miserable to uphold them in cases like this.

Traffic Monsoon and OneCoin are my first experiences of this kind of business. For me, the way they target people is just awful, I have spoken to Eagle One privately about how they have even tried to rope my brother in law into OneCoin and he lives in a village in an Asian country. He wouldn't be able to afford the kind of money they were asking to invest, if somehow he did manage to get a hold of the money, once he had lost it, then putting food on the table would have been very difficult.

Probably to debate with the haters. He obviously thinks that what the Webinars are explaining about cryptocurrency is correct.

That's the problem.
They aren't "businesses" any more than movies are "real life" or video games contain any element of truth
They're fraudulent schemes made to look like "businesses"
Everything about them is fake.

Re: onecoin.eu ponzi scam
Oh come on, we all know that this doesn't mean that OneCoin is a Ponzi. Italy and Germany just don't understand how great OneCoin is and how it works. If they did, the governments would be offering it to their citizens and praising Dr. Ruja for her incredible knowledge and she is a genius in developing OneCoin. They would want everyone to use it so they could become Millionaires. OK, sarcasm over.

It is definitely getting closer. All it is going to take is for a few more countries to ban it claiming it is an illegal pyramid scheme and OneCoin is doomed. You can also add India to the list of countries doing an investigation. At the rate the actions are taking place, OneCoin will be lucky to last through summer before Ruja runs and shuts it down.
The only hope anyone has of getting any money back is if a multiple of countries through a joint task force shut it down and freeze all assets everywhere they can find them. This includes all the houses Dr. Ruja bought, etc..
