Rather odd that MAP FB page is not full of pics and raving testimonials about how great the Poland and Australian events went. Nary a word about Poland and scant pictures from Australia. Is it possible that the bloom is starting to come off the pumpkin?

I think Simon is spending it as fast as he can in case he gets hit with claw backs and then can claim he is a pauper.

Probably dying of embarrassment that an International Event in a country with a population 24,153,300 (Australia) can only muster 300 attendees. And half of those are already members!

They got that many??....I'm shocked if that's true....

they couldn't find an already organized meeting to interrupt and take pics trying to brag about how many went.

If I was a suspicious person, I might take that to mean that by some magical power, The Gerbil has managed to stay in MAPS, despite the fact they have pulled out of the USA. Almost as if deals were done for special friends?

Of course, I don't think that for one minute.

so, if someone has terminal cancer, someone else has to overcome it?

Now we should all stop giggling ang sniggering at the MAP APP that makes a "kerching!" sound.

It is an excellent recruitment device, as Dickie Mead demonstrates below.....

Richard, there is indeed a "massive tool" involved in this tale, but it isn't the MAP APP I'm afraid.

Next London MAP's event taking place on the 3rd of September.... Interesting to see if there's any sniff of the venue any time soon. Obviously it's a TBC right now....

My guess is it will be 9/1 before they announce the location. If they announced it on Monday 8/29, there is too much time for the event to be cancelled and make them scramble to find a new venue. They will wait until the last possible moment to announce it.

Never heard of a genuine business having to do that, have you? I mean, real companies / public sector bodies / charities / etc are upfront and open about their training sessions / business meetings / away days, aren't they?

Given that MAPs is a genuine business (cough), I wonder why they have to be so seceretive? Almost as if they are afraid that word will get out and the venue will cancel. I wonder what they have got to hide? Oh hang on, wait a minute.....

Is it my imagination, or have things gone a bit quiet on the MAPs front these days?

Feels like, after Traffic Monsoon, they are losing momentum. Or is it my imagination?

TM has gone out with a bang, but I feel that MAPs will go with a whimper.

While the hits to the website are up, that does not mean that this is not running out of gas. Remember, they only have Europe and Asia promoting this for new members. Europe is almost tapped out as is the UK. They have more members showing up at the events than they do "prospects." Asia is not going as well as they thought, and for all practical purposes the Australian trip was a bust. Nothing about the big event in Poland which is a clear indication it also went bust.

The bloom is coming off the pumpkin and the TM news sure is hurting them when it comes to recruiting as TM's problems are now well-known in Europe and the UK. Too many people know people who were caught up in TM and realize that MAP program is no different other than the name.
