Oh, dear, it's time for that sinking feeling in members' stomachs again as they realize another one is about to bite the dust.
here come the excuses, and, from Richard Arblaster, no less.
Whimper or bang time, people
Will they be able to drag it out as long as Banners Broker did, or is this one going to go suddenly ??

If I remember correctly didn't Tricky (serious business) Dickie take a more prominent roll in the Banners Broker Talking Banners forums etc just before the end?
Watch him be one of the fall guys whilst Stepsys walks off into the MAPs sunset and into his next scam.

Are we watching history in the making ???
Is this the last My Advertising Pays event at the Cumberland Hotel ??
Is it the last My Advertising Pays event ever ???
Under what rock will Septic Simon Stepsys hide until the next "next big thing" ???
Will MAP drag on like Banners Broker - not paying for months ???

re: Is My Advertising Pays / The Advert Platform A Scam or Ponzi?
Right, I have dipped in and out of the video above (not all of it, it's too tedious), but I have picked up these two gems:-
"When you speak to Lynn [Booth] you are really speaking to Mike Deese" - apparently, the Boy Wonder has gone off to "take the business to the next level" and that Lynn Booth is now his representative. Which explains why she was denying payments over Christmas. Looks like the Booths are really well dug into this one.
"An ordinary everyday person can become a millionaire with MAPS" [cheering and applause] - OH YEAH??? Looks like they are pushing the "you can make tons of money with MAPS" line, despite the fact that their disclaimer on their site gives a much more modest figure for most affiliates. Cannot remember the exact figure off the top of my head, but wasn't it a few hundred dollars??
Interesting. Very interesting!

Correction:
Sincere apoligies on behalf of myself and the other Admins on the 'My Advertising Pays- Scam Facebook Page' for posting this video in error. This video was in fact shot at a meeting early last year.
The next MAPS meeting will be held on February 7th 2015.
But LRM, it may well be the last? I don't think these scams will wait around to be closed down like BB was, do you? Digadz has only been going five mins and it seems to be struggling already. Is this because people are now getting wise to these Ponzi's and not joining in the numbers they once were or are the big players just getting out quicker?

re: Is My Advertising Pays / The Advert Platform A Scam or Ponzi?
And another thing.....do you know what I find really objectionable (amongst many aspects of MAPS)?
The way Slimy Simon - and others, but mainly him - keeps posting pictures of glamour girls in bikinis with the heading "No money, no honey"! WHAT?
Is he saying that women are a commodity that can be bought? Or that if you have money, you will have sexual adventures with women like this, despite the fact you look like the back of a bus and have all the charisma and personaility of a cardboard box?
It really is insulting. But then again, being an old style sexist probably doesn't bother people who join schemes like this, does it?
Sorry, just had to get that out because it does annoy me!!! Thank you.

Harrison, you said:-

I tend to agree. I think that BB will have been a massive lesson to ponzi players, and that they are more likely to up and go than wait around to be finished off. However, I think that MAPs still has a bit of life left in it. If SS's page is to be believed, they are still managing to recruit, and newbies are buying packs to start them off. How many are doing this I do not know, but it looks as if some money is still going into the system. I saw one person comment that he had bought 25 packs "with my own money" at the start. And as we know, there is BIG encouragement to people not to withdraw cash, but to leave it there to "build the business". This one has been going for just over a year, and I think it will go on for some months yet. I'm not experienced enough to say how long, or even hazard a guess! I thought that BB would fold long before it did, and was suprised at the way it just staggered on.
I think the writing will be on the wall when Simon Stepsys stops promoting it, and starts to move on to other things. Just like he did with BB. And won't poor old Dickie Arblaster be upset when yet ANOTHER one of his schemes folds, and he has to put off buying that £9million mansion just a bit longer!

In the HYIP ponzi "industry" they are known as "rebound" HYIPs which follow the collapse of one of the next big thing HYIPs, such as Banners Broker.
They capitalize on the large number of newbies for whom the "next big thing" was their first HYIP ponzi experience and who still believe 1% a day / turn $50 into $800 / clicking on websites to earn is possible.
If you watch closely, you'll see each new wave of "rebounds" collapses faster than the wave before as reality finally hits for the newbie victims and less and less of them join , until we're back at three or four weeks being the average HYIP lifespan .
Banners Broker lasted two years before the inevitable happened and it stopped paying
My Advertising Pays was one of the first, post Banners Broker HYIPs and has lasted a year before the cracks started appearing.
Digadz and Achieve , being sixth or seventh generation post BB have been "paying" for three or four months and are already effectively dead in the water. Anyone who joins Digadz today is guaranteed to lose their money, even though it is still "paying" some people.
Near the end of a previous "next big thing" cycle, someone worked out at the time new HYIPs had an average lifespan of around 19 days.
So many newbies had woken up to the fact HYIP ponzi games are nonsense and stopped investing real money, all that remained were serial HYIP ponzi "players" who are smart enough to hit and run, taking their profit with them and investing little or no real money.
Given the fact HYIPs rely on a constant supply of new "real" money, without which they simply cannot survive, 19 days became the norm for a while, until the next "next big thing" came along to start a whole new cycle.
The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing

re: Is My Advertising Pays / The Advert Platform A Scam or Ponzi?
Dennis Thrasher has posted this onto the 'My Advertising Pays - Scam' Facebook page:
I posted this on Tara Talks a couple of times but she refuses to post it
Hi Tara,
I'm sure you will delete this or not even post it but you have your information wrong about My Advertising Pays & Kevin Thompson. Before I start I will introduce myself and also let you know that I joined My Advertising Pays about four months ago. My name is Dennis Thrasher and I also spoke with Kevin Thompson before I joined. I watched My Advertising Pays for about six months or so before I even joined because for one thing I was very interested in it and for another I am also very leery of scams. I do though know quite a bit about the laws and how they work when it comes to MLM attorneys.
One thing you need to know about attorneys is that they advise you, have a onetime fee to set you up with all the legal paper work relating to law for your business and then you have a choice to retain them if any problems arise while in business. Back in 2006 that fee was $25,000 a year just to retain them (I Know Because I Hired One) I can’t even imagine what it is now. I chose not to retain him because I couldn’t see paying all that money for doing nothing when I could hire him or someone else if and when something came up. This is also the usual practice of a startup company unless you’re a multimillion dollar company and then you would retain them from the get go.
This brings me back to your post about Kevin Thompson. Kevin Thompson was hired by My Advertising Pays to get all the legals done before opening and then was not retained because he was no longer needed. I confirmed this with Mr. Thompson myself before joining MAP’s. Kevin Thompson wrote back to you himself and said he did a little work for them a year ago but does not endorse them and is not their attorney. Legally Kevin Thompson cannot endorse them because My Adverting Pays did not retain him or need to continue on with his service. Kevin Thompson also told one of your readers that if you’re treating your participation as an investment hang on to your money but if they’re selling something that you need or want give it a look. Again, legally and by law you cannot look at any mlm or affiliate program as an investment so this has to be said to protect himself and the company. I guess you didn’t notice after that he said but if they’re selling something that you need or want give it a look.
You start out by saying that their site isn’t very classy. I have been a member of some of the best looking sites around and they didn’t work worth a crap. What’s important is that it works and works well. You also need to look up what a PYRAMID SCHEME is. My Advertising Pays doesn’t even come close to what the definition of a pyramid scheme is. These kind of statements and also your false reporting of Kevin Thompson’s involvement with My Advertising Pays is called The Online Defamation Law.
The online defamation law is a false and unprivileged statement of fact that is harmful to someone's reputation or business, and published "with fault," meaning as a result of negligence or malice. You and I both know that the internet is out of control when it comes to scams, schemes and everything else but once in a while something does come around that’s pretty good.
Can I guarantee that My Advertising Pays will be here tomorrow……..There’s absolutely no guarantee that any of us will even be here tomorrow but what I do know is that My Advertising pays done it right from the start.
Dennis Thrasher

re: Is My Advertising Pays / The Advert Platform A Scam or Ponzi?
Has anybody actually watched Dickie Walletblaster's "MAPs update" videos? The ones he posts online soooo regularly?
Well, my resistance was low the other day, so I watched one. That's two minutes of my life I won't get back. They are mercifully short, and consist of a camera focussed on the page of a desk diary, in which Dickie has written a short account of his "earnings" to date. He then reads them out. He is careful to pan in on the date on the diary page, so we can all see that it is a contemporary account and not one he has made up (cough).
Low budget isn't in it.
I am at a loss to know how that would motivate anyone to (a) join MAPs or (b) stay in MAPs and work even harder! But hey, what do I know anyway? I am a nasty, negative person after all. Or should that be a sensible person?
Anyway, if you have not seen one, I have saved you the bother.

I wonder does Dickie Brainblaster tear the pages out of his notepad to send to his serious business serious accountant?

I would have to assume that's the way it works. You would also have to believe these others are telling the truth.
