I wonder if Mike Deese meant to say "conscience"

    Probably not.

Anyone who is running a multi million dollar ponzi which is about to defraud several hundred thousand members, doesn't have any sort of "conscience" good or bad.

If Simon Stepsys or Mark Ghobril are involved it's 100% a SCAM!

    .

Two simple questions for the Mapholes:

    1. How can a "blazing hot, soon-to-be-as-big-as-Google-and-Facebook company" decide that THE LARGEST CONSUMER ECONOMY IN THE ENTIRE WORLD is "unprofitabe"?

The answer may be found by answering this question:

    2. How can you possibly extend the life of a Ponzi scheme when the available supply of people who are gullible and/or stupid enough to send money to MAPs and who are expecting historically impossible returns on their "investments" is drying up?

Well, you can always start by pulling the rug out of one-fourth of those suckers.

I've got a question. Well, more than one, actually.

As MAPs is pulling out of the USA, what is going to happen the Mark "The Gerbil" Ghobril?

Isn't he Stepsys's upline? What about all those commissions he will (supposedly) be getting from Stepsys making purchases?

And does this mean the Our Tony and Lynne won't be making visits to the USA any more, to see Mike in his office that has neither computer nor phone?

Will the ladies with laptops who provide "support" have less work to do? Will - gulp! - one of them have to be made redundant as a result?

It's all very worrying. I hope someone can reassure me or I won't be able to sleep tonight for thinking about it.

Never fear, young lady. I'm sure they will think up some sort of bald faced lie to explain the problems away!
It seems like in this "industry" common sense is not all that common!

If I'm not mistaken Mark Ghobril is a Canadian citizen so under the new rules of the game he can carry on with this particular scam a little longer I believe.

A Canuck for sure. There were many comments concerning getting that nickel and dime con artist deported after that filths role in Banners Brokers scam.
He does own a house in Long island,NY. Matter of public record it was in foreclosure.

Over on Ted Nuyten's site (Businessforhome.org), there is a short piece about MAPs pulling out of the USA. Didn't really say anything new.

But what caught my eye was the comments from various people, including one which stated that Mike Deese was formerly an admin for an autosurf programme called Studio Traffic.

Anyone heard of that particular scheme?

Interesting. According to Wikepedia, Studio Traffic was started by some called "John Horan" in 2003. It was a get paid autosurf programme. It ran for a while, then closed down without warning and many people were left bankrupt. John Horan then disappeared and has not been heard of since.

The Wikepdia article is flagged as having "multiple issues", which may indeed be true. But this bit caught my eye:

Studiotraffic U.S. did not seem to be able to pay off the monthly withdrawals, and Horan stated that if and when the United States becomes too much of a burden, he will have to close off the US section of Studiotraffic. In November, US members' accounts were blocked from surfing for "in-profit" members whilst all accounts were audited. In December the same occurred with UK accounts.

    Sounds familiar??

Profitable Sunrise scam. Roman was an alias aka the long con who just went bye bye with all the $.
It was a religious/secular based con. Much use of religious images. It crushed 1000s of "Christian"members who had Roman up for sainthood.

In a brutal twist of the religious scam knife. A huge "Easter Gift" was about to pay out. Members had quit jobs, were looking at islands etc
Then it ended without a word....

Rumor of a clan of scammers from Ukraine. Doubt anyone spent much resources looking for him/them.

If you read the thread on here, some clown claimed his mom and Roman went to school together, etc.

Unlike MAPS which has a large % of veteran ponzi losers. Prof Sunrise drew huge % of members who had no experience/concept of programs.(great job Ponzi Jo!)
It made the ending very, very cold blooded.

Yes. I am pretty certain that it was the first ever autosurf. It was certainly before 12DailyPro.

His activities are certainly above the radar if he was any part of that con.

StudioTraffic was one of the larger, more long-lived Ponzis of that era. It went about two years and sucked in huge sums of sucker cash. In the MMG thread, over 2000 posts accumulated after it had stoppped paying. The TalkGold thread for the program ... curiously ... disappeared.

I agree the similarities are striking.

Well at least nobody in the US is going to lose any money.

They are finalizing the "contract" and hopefully it will be done tomorrow.

Things seem to be going from bad to worse for our Mr Shoyfer.

Funny that I personally know Shoyfer :)
He is russian speaking guy , works at some healthcare recruiting company, lured alot of Russians in NY to TelexFree.

When I told him he is promoting a pyramid scheme and it might end very bad for him, he told me "Every business in the world is a pyramid " and other crap.
Thats where i decided to stop arguing with that idiot.

you notice the out of "if the settlement is accepted". Still trying to figure out who would be involved in any settlement barring the people owed the money.
