If the "haters" are so "irrelevant & pathetic" to the mapholes, why do they spend 24/7 talking / stressing over them.
The non pro con artists are feeling that doubt that comes to all in the programs. The why did I compound not withdraw? nagging fear.

Not to be a sticky wicket as the whipper would say, but as a general rule government agencies including the SEC won't comment to the public about ongoing investigations.

Oh, look what I've found......an article in the Sunday Times, no less, all about MAPs.....

Here is the link, but be warned: the Sunday Times is very mean with its online content and only gives you a brief taste, you have to subscribe to see the full article. However people in the UK can buy a paper copy - I know I am going to!

re: Is My Advertising Pays / The Advert Platform A Scam or Ponzi?
For those not in the know, the Sunday Times is the UK's biggest selling quality Sunday newspaper.
It has a circulation of 800,000 to 1,000,000, and has online content available by subscription. It also has a reputation for the strength of its investigative reporting.
So, Danny boy, don't waste your time trying to downplay this like you did with the Mirror, calling it a "local newspaper" - the Sunday Time is far more than this.
ADDENDUM: Have just got my copy and am please to say that there is a BIG article spread across pages 2 and 3 of the Money section......complete with nice picture of Stepsys leaning against his Bentley!
I will try to photograph it and post it here - it's not just a little box in the corner.....

re: Is My Advertising Pays / The Advert Platform A Scam or Ponzi?
The article is really good, pity it's not viewable online. I'll give a flavour:-
It gives Stepsys a right pasting, and refers to his past exploits, including with WinStar Direct, Banners Broker (where he was Affiliate of the Year), and the latest ASA ruling (which the boy Simon claims was "unfair" but which he does not plan to challenge)
I'm delighted to say that the Sunday Times sent a reporter to one of the MAPs presentations, during which Stepsys claimed that you could make money every 20 minutes - claims which the ASA ruled were misleading. The Sunday Times contacted the Chief Communicator, Tony Booth, who said that Stepsys could go "a bit over the top sometimes", but that they were introducing standard presentations to ensure that MAPs was presented "in the correct way". Our Tone also said about Simon:-
"Unfortunately, Simon has been involved with other businesses that have failed, such as Banners Broker. That's why he has an online following of people who blaime him for those failures, and think Map will fail too However we are absolutely not a ponzi scheme. We are a genuine business that can cover every penny of liability that we have"
When it comes to who is behind MAPs, the article says that "Booth is a former double glazing salesman from Blackburn, and Deese operates from a small bungalow in Mississippi. The American is presented as a slick and successful entrepreneur in Maps publicity, but his Facebook page reveals him to be a former postman who has been involved in a series of similar online schemes"
The artcile does try to be fair and presents what MAPs says about itself, but the general tone of it is far more "against" than "for".
Don't know who went to the paper about it - maybe Jon Walsh, as he is named? - but whoever they are JOLLY WELL DONE!!!

Glad to see the article got published this Sunday. It was supposed to have run last Sunday so wasn't sure if it would this Sunday or not. And yes you can thank Jon Walsh for getting this article published.
It is going to be interesting to see how the MAPsters respond to this article compared to how they responded to the Daily Mirror article on Simon. I only wish someone could find out if Simon is leasing or he really did buy the Bentley. It is also interesting that all of a sudden he no longer talks about his house or shows any pictures. If my memory serves me correctly, the house he had pictures of was bought and then leased, or just being leased.

The house of which he had pictures was both up for sale and up for lease; but there's no evidence that he did either. All we know is, he took some photos outside it (which anyone could do!). I don't think he ever claimed to have bought or rented it, he just said he'd seen it. As far as I know, he's still at Welsh Row in Nantwich and still going in the same pub!
As for the Bentley (or two Bentleys, as he claimed to have bought a second one) we haven't seen any recent pictures of those either. And they are easy enough to hire. Someone on RS forum even pointed out that you could rent watches.

Fears over the company that promises a Map to untold riches
Thousands have signed up to My Advertising Pays, but some experts are not convinced by the online scheme
Jessica Bown Published: 28 August 2015
Rich rewards: salesman Simon Stepsys claims to have made $1m with the company
AN ONLINE advertising scheme that has attracted 180,000 members with a promise to “make money while you sleep” may be too good to be true, experts have warned.
My Advertising Pays (Map) claims users will earn at least $60 (£39) within three months for every $50 they put in.
All users have to do to earn the $10 commission is click on 10 online advertisements posted by other Map members every day — and they can earn a lot more by persuading others to join.
Tens of thousands of people, mostly from Britain and Germany, have signed up since the American scheme was launched in 2013. However, advertising industry insiders are concerned Map may be a Ponzi scheme — one that uses new members’ money to pay older members — that will collapse when new recruits dry up or regulators step in. The company’s executives insist it is a “genuine business with legal terms and conditions”.
Jon Walsh, co-founder of One Central Point, an international advertising agency, said: “Members have to click on other members’ ‘ads’ to earn their money. It seems to be a get-rich-quick scheme that relies on other people buying in to keep going.”
Damian Ryan, co-author of Understanding Digital Marketing, said: “To me, Map appears to be a Ponzi scheme that has managed to slip under the regulators’ radar. I went to a Map event some time ago and it seemed to be a pseudo-religious experience for many of the people there.”
The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) says some of the claims made about Map and the profits that people can make are “misleading”.
It recently upheld a complaint about how Simon Stepsys, a self-styled “internet millionaire” who runs monthly Map “business opportunity” events, marketed the scheme in Britain.
So is Map a real money-making opportunity or simply a Ponzi scheme? The Sunday Times decided to attend one of Stepsys’s presentations to find out more.
’Map will change your life’
Stepsys, who claims to have earned more than $1m through Map, held one of his business opportunity meetings this month at the Thistle Marble Arch hotel in central London. At least 120 people went along, including me.
Stepsys has recruited thousands of members according to Tony Booth, a Briton who runs the Map scheme with his wife Lynne and Michael Deese, an American director.
“How would you like to make money like Google and Facebook?” Stepsys asked us. “It’s very simple — join Map!”
During the presentation, the key messages were that Map would “change your life” and allow users to “make money while you sleep”.
Stepsys referred to signs placed around the room, which explained how people could receive payment “every 20 minutes” — a claim that was ruled “misleading” by the ASA last month.
In 1998 the Office of Fair Trading (OFT) accused Stepsys of “preying on the vulnerable” by making false promises of earnings with a venture called Win-Star Direct. The following year, it took out a High Court injunction after he carried on making the same promises. The OFT said he had shown “a wilful disregard for the advertising standards imposed by the law”.
More recently, Stepsys was named “affiliate of the year” by a Canadian online advertising company called Banners Broker, which was later revealed to be a Ponzi scheme.
Canadian police said of Banners Broker in 2013: “It is the position of investigators that this business was a . . . Ponzi scheme in which new victims were recruited to stave off requests for withdrawals and complaints from older ones.”
The people at Stepsys’s event in London this month appeared unaware of his past. They whooped with excitement at the prospect of joining the Map “family” and “changing other people’s lives”.
Map offers many ways to earn cash
When contacted by The Sunday Times, Booth said Stepsys could go “a bit over the top sometimes”. He added: “We are introducing a standard presentation to ensure all affiliates present Map in the correct way.”
Booth suggested that Stepsys’s previous business ventures were one reason for the concerns raised about Map. “Unfortunately, Simon has been involved with other businesses that have failed, such as Banners Broker,” he said.
“That’s why he has an online following of people who blame him for those failures and think Map will fail too. However, we are absolutely not a Ponzi scheme. We are a genuine business that can cover every single penny of liability we have.”
How Map works
There is no charge to join Map, but to make money you have to buy at least one advertising pack. These cost $50 and contain 550 credits, enough to create one advertisement on the Map website.
Click on 10 other such ads a day and you qualify for a “profit share”, which Map claims will produce a $10 profit within three months. The scheme puts that plus the original $50 into your Map account. The profit is not all yours to keep, though.
“You must use 5% of the total $60 to buy more ads,” Booth said. “So your pure profit is $7 per pack [$10 minus $3].”
Once you have a total of $50 profit, you can buy another credit pack, or you can use your own money to buy up to 1,200 credit packs at a total cost of $60,000.
It is also possible to earn money by referring new members to the scheme, Map says. Their activity could earn you commission of up to 10%.
Map states that members can withdraw their money at any time in normal working hours, subject to payment processing fees.
Who is behind Map?
Booth is a former double-glazing salesman from Blackburn, and Deese operates from a small bungalow in Mississippi.
The American is presented as a slick and successful entrepreneur in Map’s publicity, but his Facebook page reveals him to be a former postman who has been involved in a series of similar online schemes. “When you research the Map ‘Leaders’, their backgrounds are full of failed get-rich-quick schemes,” Walsh said.
In an online testimonial, Deese says: “[Stepsys] knows a good thing when he sees it and spreads the news like a sickness, because he wants others to experience this success too.
“Folks, you don’t have to promote like Simon does, you don’t have to drink the same tea or send out the same emails. But what you can’t get away from if you want that type of success is this: dedicate yourself and take massive action.”
Map was incorporated in the state of Mississippi on September 13, 2013, by Deese and registered to his bungalow in Ocean Springs. By December 20, it had been dissolved.
The company was incorporated again, this time in Britain, on March 6, 2014, with Deese as sole director, although now listed at a different address. It has yet to post any accounts. Map’s website says its registered office is in the Caribbean.
‘It felt like a cult’
Scott Russell, a courier from Leicestershire, joined Map in May last year after an advertisement for the scheme “popped up” on his smartphone.
Russell, 33, said: “I can’t remember how I found it. It might have been on a social media website.” Soon after joining, however, he became suspicious. “I put in about £1,500 in total,” he said. “But the Map meeting I went to felt very odd, a bit like a cult. Also, all the adverts you had to click on were utter garbage — get-rich-quick schemes and the like.”
After researching the scheme’s management and salesmen, he decided to pull his money out. “There was at least a $9.50 charge for every $200 I withdrew,” Russell said. The charges ate into his profits, he said, but he did not lose any money. “I am glad I got out when I did, though. Other people may not be so lucky,” Russell added.
What does Map say?
Booth insisted that Map offers real money-making potential for its members. “Map is not a scam. It is a genuine business with legal terms and conditions,” he said.
“Company income is derived from the sale of banner adverts, pop-up adverts, guaranteed visitor adverts and membership fees, and credit pack profit [paid to members] is funded by the sales of the paid advertising.
“The profit from the above-banner sales is far greater than that needed to pay profit shares on all current, active credit packs.”
Stepsys said: “I am an independent affiliate of My Advertising Pays, which pays me commission via third-party payment processors.” He does not plan to challenge the ASA ruling made against him in July.
“The ruling was not about Map, it was about a generic ad that I placed,” he said. “In my opinion the ruling was not fair. However, I will not be contesting.”
In its ruling last month, the ASA said: “We noted Simon Stepsys’ assertion that no personal selling was required to make money. However, we noted that the My Advertising Pays website stated that it offered an ‘opportunity that rewards you for selling cost-effective online advertisements’ and that results would vary depending on the ‘sales skills of each participant’.”
In response to Russell’s claim that his profits were hit by high charges, Booth said: “Withdrawal fees vary depending on the country and type of transfer and will be subject to a minimum charge.
“Here in the UK, a withdrawal of $2,000 would cost $20.”

In it, he has a real go at Jon Walsh. The tone of Danny's comments throughout could best be described as hysterical. There are only 2 comments on his blog so far, but one asserts that the ASA ruling got some facts wrong (they know this how?) and says it is bad reporting!
C'mon chaps, I don't think you are going to spin your way out of this one.....

Tony has blown yet another perfect opportunity to prove MAP is not a Ponzi/Pyramid. He could have very easily demonstrated where all the external revenue (if any) from the sale of "paid advertising" was derived. Instead he makes a vague reference and tosses in "membership fees, and credit pack profit", the hallmark of a Pyramid Scam.

It would bother me if I was one of the thousands convinced to put $20,000,000ish into this scheme only to hear Simon claim just to be an affiliate. What exactly is his role and duty to investors in "earning" his $2,000,000 commish? Seems like an awful big number not to be qualified or feel any moral obligation to do proper due diligence. Much like his failure to properly vet the Banners Broker Ponzi scam, just a commission earning net winning independent affiliate there too he was.
Here is something Simon was 100% wrong about. NONE OF THE HATERS GOT THIS WRONG, Tara et. al sussed out the TRUTH for free.
If Simon can't be bothered being right with such petty details, we begin to understand why he can't adequately satisfy the regulators. MAPS being a scam is nothing more than a math problem, insufficient revenue to cover money owed. An eight year old running a lemonade stand could be more convincing than these mutts.

No you blubbering tool, if EVERYONE lost money in Ponzi scams no one would run them. Early investors are paid with money from later investors, their "gains" come from the "losses" of later arrivals. This is why people like Shaun Smith and Frank Calebro Jr. are subject to "clawbacks" for their ill gotten gains in the Zeek Rewards Ponzi scheme.
