Over on the MAPs Scam FB page, this interesting snippet has been posted (thanks to that page):

Now, I know it relates to Banners Broker, and is very good news on that front; BUT how many of the BB resellers and promoters moved on to MAPs?

And which one in particular, recently featured in the Daily Mirror?

Perhaps the big ex-BB pushers had better start hiding the fancy cars, watches, wads of money and other things that they feature (and have featured) in their publicity. I somehow don't think that "Lawks-a-mercy, was it really a scam, I was just an ordinary affiliate, I was as surprised as anyone when it crashed, no, honest guv, never knew a thing..." will cut it when the receiver knocks on the door with a court warrant.

I was going to buy some of this fancy couture until I realized they didn't have my size, some lucky ladies know exactly what I mean. Instead, blew my allowance on drugs like us scam bloggers are known to do.

I just came up with a business case for how silly MAPS is, how to improve the program and the company's profitably. Aw no need for thanks Mike and Tony, maybe just speak to Mead about the thong selection.

For each credit pack that is "sold" currently the referrer is paid a $5 commission, the person that bought the pack expects a $7 return. Why can't MAPS instead pay people who sign up $5 for each pack if they agree to click 1 ad daily and skip the recruiter? This would be accomplished at minimal cost directly on the website, no longer a need for speakeasy type hotel recruiting. This saves MAPs a full $7 on each pack and easily broadens the base of clickers. Simply no economic reason not to use this model, unless of course as asserted in these here pages MAPS is a Ponzi scheme.

Here's how this would look:

A clickaroo signs up and agrees to click 1 ad daily for up to 1200 packs.
Packs mature at the same rate they do now, the clickaroo is paid $6000
MAPS ends up with an extra $8400 to reinvest in the business, or being generous people they are probably inclined to share that too.

(As an aside, who is "Abs Shahid" who is supposed to the "Technical Support" for MAPs? Well, funnily enough someone by the same name is on Facebook, and apparently lives in Rawtenstall (so not a million miles away from Blackburn, where the Booths hang out). I have not reproduced his FB page here because (1) it may not be the same person and (2) he has lots of family photos on display. This particular person works for a company up north.)

Now don't worry MAPscammers I have little doubt that your SCAM site will be back up shortly.
Unless somebody contacted My Advertising Pays web host and got 'em booted off. If that's the case they will eventually find a scam friendly host.

Please Bear in mind though just as with Banners Broker (remember them? Simon Stepsys does) one day it will go down and stay down.

Who will you complain to when that happens?

Now then, fellow RS folk.

We were all so wrong to snigger and giggle at the ladies with laptops on the sofa in Our Tone's front room. They have a real IT support team - I know it must be real because they now have their very own FB page!

Ok, so the admins are the Booths and Margariet Denhaag, plus Nick Darlington (whoever he is). Not forgetting the mysterious "Here to Help You", who has his/her own FB page and all of 3 friends.......yes you've guessed, Lynne Booth, Margariet Denhaag and Abs Shahid. Both pages seem to have been set up fairly recently.

But if tech support is just those people - and mainly the Booth family at that - where do they work from, apart from the Booth's sofa? What are their technical skills to provide IT support? The whole thing would not fill me with confidence, but I bet the eager Mappers just lap it right up, and see it as evidence of "longevity" and "being here to stay".

And finally....why is tech support a CLOSED group? Surely it should be there to help all Mappers?

Zoe Booth also works at the Crown Carveries apparently.

One that could really HELP the Mappers!

WHY DON'T THEY GO ON DRAGON'S DEN? (TV programme where people with an invention, business or business idea go and pitch for funds to assist them develop their venture from 5 well established business people, for those not in the know)

My vision is this: A Mapper who has at least 100 packs, but needs money to get to the magic 1200 figure could go and pitch the "business" to the Dragons. If they "invested" the money needed to get to 1200 packs, the Mapper could offer them a share in "business". The Mapper could offer to do all the work - heck, it's not hard work is it, clicking on 10 ads a day - and all the Dragon needs to do is sit back and watch the money roll in. As an added incentive, the Mapper could place ads for the Dragon's other business ventures on the MAPs traffic exchange - 177,000 happy viewers, remember - everyone's a winner!

Cos MAPs is a REAl business, isn't it, one that is going to overtake Google soon, so the pitch should be a doddle. I bet the Dragons would be falling all over themselves to buy into THIS one!

Sometimes I'm amazed by my own brilliance.

they could probably offer the producers of the show a prize like twelve months free advertising with MAP so that each weekly winner could put his / her concept in front of all those 10-a-day clickers.

Brilliant! You know, I think we might just be onto something here!

WAIT, WAIT GET THIS TOO.................................They could run a national campaign to feature in all the major newspapers and at least one or two major advertising companies on TV because just THINK of the amount of people who would flock to something like this!!
