Is My Advertising Pays / The Advert Platform A Scam or Ponzi?
A friend of mine wants me to join My Advertising Pays. I do not want to be rude to him, but I do want to show him some facts.
So, can you please tell me if you think MAPS is a scam or ponzi?
Then I can show this to my friend, and not hurt our friendship.

Hopefully I can learn alot from this website.
As you probably know or should know at this point Simon Stepsys was one of the first promoters of http://www.realscam.com/f8/banners-b...onzi-scam-897/, claiming to be a MILLIONAIRE. He left in 2012 right before payments to people like yourself dried up. He moved to http://www.realscam.com/f8/empower-network-1659/ again cashing in big and then moving on to MAP and who knows what else. As of today, I have 90 emails from him in my spam folder. If he is making so much money from running legitimate businesses, the right question is why all the spam?
We are not talking about serial entrepreneurs like Elon Musk or Richard Branson who employ thousands and add real value to the world. My Advertising Pays is but one more in a long list of scams promoted by "internet marketers" designed to part you from your money. Plain and simple if someone is trying to recruit you and you in turn have to recruit others, it is a scam. Not only mathematically impossible for 99% not to lose, the story is improbable. There are enough people/institutions out there will millions to invest in real deals, one can safely conclude that ANYTHING being marketed like this is bullshit.
Simon the Spammer.jpg
Let's take an excerpt from one of Simon's Emails....
CEO: Mike Deese (retired United States Air Force Veteran)
Mike has been in the trenches with Zeek, ASD, BB,
Ad Hit Profits, and many other advertising revenue sharing
companies some of which continue to thrive and some that are not.
IF THE EMAIL TELLS YOU THE CEO HAS BEEN INVOLVED IN 4 PONZI SCHEMES, WHAT ON EARTH DO YOU SUPPOSE THIS IS?
===============================================
2 view ads, (10 ads which takes 5 mins)
3 get paid daily. (up to 72 times daily)
NO ONE IS GOING TO PAY YOU ENOUGH TO LOOK AT 10 ADS TO MAKE ANY MONEY. Porn, boner bills, get rich quick, and diet products where you can eat whatever you want and still lose weight. Give me a break, what kind of model is that? Unless they plan on selling you more crap, where is the upside for them? Seriously who the hell is going to pay you to look at ads, specifically?
===============================================
Already he has corporations interested in advertising
waiting in the wings for the membership to hit a certain
threshold of 5000+ which will happen fast. (Over 63,000 members already)
So 12 viewers for every corporation, well that should be a winner.
You lost on Banners Broker, learn from it. No one is going to give you something for nothing in this world. Simon's talent lies in making you believe they will.

UGH! I have an issue with people who are either uneducated or plain ignorant! It is true SOME companies are scams BUT to say "Plain and simple if someone is trying to recruit you and you in turn have to recruit others, it is a scam." is not only unfair to the companies that legitimately pay people to do this but it is also a LIE! It seems to me that people come here looking for answers and the only answer they get from you blows their dreams up. I don't know personally about MAPS although I do know people making money with MAPS but are you a member? Have you ever been a member of the companies your shooting down?

PS for those looking for answers about something they are doing or interested in doing, educate yourself, talk to people to see what experience they have had because as I said MANY people make a living referring or recruiting others-don't go into anything without 100% understanding of what you get, what is expected in order to make money and how much you will make.

Nothing I enjoy more than randoms that show up, don't bother to read the full thread, then parrot the same nonsense we have heard from the MLM/Internet Marketing community for years.
We are not talking about you standing at the supermarket asking people if they would like to try a little piece of hot dog on a toothpick in hopes they buy a pack. We are talking about programs where the sole hope for the business to survive is new recruits and their money. The recruits are the customers, and their cash the only real product.

Ribshaw, thank you for the posting above.
I have seen that the vile Stepsys is now promotinbg MAPS madly, but I couldn't get a handle on what it actually was. I have a bit more idea now.
But wait! What is this from the "Simon Stepsys MAPS Success FB Group" (or whatever it is actually called)? Yes, they are having "technical issues" but an announcement will be made in due course......

Reminds me so much of Banners Broker, what with comments about MAPS being a "baby" in the online world, the programming team working to solve the "problem" etc etc. I wonder if it will go the same way?

Sounds like MAPS is already swirling the bowl. Richard Arblaster was so wrong about Banners Broker now this? At least all he has to do is tear the cover off the BB excuse manual and the sheep should be good for about two years worth of shearing.
"growing pains"
"carry on promoting"
"Sales are still being made, you just can't have any of your share right now"
"Server Capacity"
"We can still take deposits" Just kidding, I made that part up based on Simon's spam to me today which curiously fails to mention not being able to pay people.

Now what is truly shocking is that this is not being promoted on the two biggest Ponzi boards going, so no wonder it is in trouble already. Even the Ponzi pimp king Ken Russo can't help save this one. Another in a long line of Ken's failed programs, but at least he is one of the first to call it a Ponzi! Yep he actually said that, and the sad truth is he truly believes it. Talk about a sociopath.

So, right, with MAPS you have to look at 10 ads a day (for 10 seconds each time), and from that you make money?
Oh, that and buying "credit packs" of course. And clearly from recruiting others.
Based on what I have learned from BB, doesn't that make it yet another pyramid scheme or ponzi scheme? Trying to keep objective here, but I cannot see how looking at 10 ads a day can make you any money. If you do make money from this, it can only be fractions of a penny per time. It looks to me that this is pretendy work to try to cover the fact that the heart of the scheme is credit packs and recruiting.
I'm not convinced. And the main reason I woulod never join can be summed up in two words: Simon Stepsys.

Oh, right. I have heard of ASD, but know almost nothing about it. I assume it does not exist any more?
Leading on from this, I have had my calculator out. Now, it seems to me that MAPS urges people to work up to 1200 credit packs.
1200 credit packs at $50 each would cost $60,000. The promise is that each pack costing $50 "matures" so that you get $60 back. So if you had 1200 packs you would have spent $60,000 to get $72,000 back.
That is an awful lot of money, both to spend out in the first place and then to return. However, you only need 100 people giving you $60,000 and you have got $6million. But none of it seems sustainable to me.
I don't think they will get many people putting that amount of money in (at least I hope not!), but they certainly have had some people buying 100 packs at a time at a cost of $5000. It's not hard to see how the money rolls in. And it's not hard to see why people like the repulsive Stepsys push it so hard and push people to buy as many packs as they can.
Looking at the amount of money Banners Broker pulled in - well, many millions - its also easy to see why people start these schemes. The whole thing makes me feel quite sick.

re: Is My Advertising Pays / The Advert Platform A Scam or Ponzi?
This has been posted on the Simon Stepsys MAPS FB group. It reminds me of something (especially the bit about being patient) but I cannot think quite what.....
I feel the need to drop by & explain to all members, who are wondering why MAP profit-share earnings have paused for some of you!
This is most especially to our New members!
Our server has once again maxed out due to MAPs growth. Thousands upon thousands of lines of data are processed every 20 minutes. We have been working on it in the background for the last two weeks, with test periods in between the tweaks. This has resulted in less-than-expected results from our payouts.
We have gotten it to where it's paying more correctly, however we still have work to do. We are evaluating now to determine how much memory and processing power we need to add to our current set-up in order to more efficiently process this immense amount of data.
We are implementing a plan put together by multiple programmers over the next week. Never has their been a site processing so many records every 20 minutes except possibly eBay!
You will see improvement soon. In the meantime please, be patient. Your credit packs will always mature at $60.
Because we had to reboot the server, the timer is not working correctly at the moment. That will be restored later. Please, just view your 10 ads when the bar is still green.
Your patience is much appreciated!
Ah yes, I remember! It reminds me of Banner Broker when it stopped paying people.
