One of the phrases (motivational woo really) often quoted by the eager Mappers is this: "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different rersults". Words to that effect anyway, even if I haven't got the quote 100% right.
They often aim this at people who still have a day job. People who go out to work are often sneered at and looked down upon. People in schemes seem to think that they are in some way superior because THEY know how to get rich by clicking on 10 ads a day!
So let's meet an eager Mapper. Step forward Dennis Cole!

And here he is back in 2013, pushing Empower Network...

And then before that, in 2012, espousing Banners Broker....

Now, what was that quotation about insanity again??
re: Is My Advertising Pays / The Advert Platform A Scam or Ponzi?
they clearly don't believe it as it hasn't stopped their masturbating multiple times a day on facebook.

Which should immediately lead people to think about this other chestnut. "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably isn't" Amazing how similar this 1999 story is to the MAP experience.
"And now comes the bull. A couple of demonstrations of their products and a lot of motivational hype. A few testimonials, some success stories"
" The big super duper once in a lifetime opportunity "BASIC TRAINING"--at the ridiculous price of $300.00."
"I was told to come to the next meeting and bring my friends"
"It seems like organizations like this thrive off of people like me who are really hurting for money and who would do just about anything to get out of the situation they are currently in. "

Forget a focus group, the work experience kid could have told them it is a stupid idea.

Advertising must tell the truth and not mislead consumers.
In addition, claims must be substantiated.
Business Opportunities
The Franchise and Business Opportunity Rule requires franchise and business opportunity sellers to give consumers a detailed disclosure document at least 10 days before the consumer pays any money or legally commits to a purchase. The document must include:
the names, addresses, and telephone numbers of other purchasers;
a fully-audited financial statement of the seller;
the background and experience of the business's key executives;
the cost of starting and maintaining the business; and
the responsibilities of the seller and purchaser once the purchase is made.
In addition, companies that make earnings representations must give consumers the written basis for their claims, including the number and percentage of owners who have done at least as well as claimed.
See Franchising and Business Opportunity Ventures.
What are some Ponzi scheme "red flags"? https://www.sec.gov/answers/ponzi.htm
Many Ponzi schemes share common characteristics. Look for these warning signs:
High investment returns with little or no risk. Every investment carries some degree of risk, and investments yielding higher returns typically involve more risk. Be highly suspicious of any "guaranteed" investment opportunity.

re: Is My Advertising Pays / The Advert Platform A Scam or Ponzi?
So let me see if I have this straight. The claim is that Simon was a former "boss" at TexSTAR Recruiters. Hmm, TexSTAR Recruiters is based in Houston, TX and Simon lives in London. Yep perfectly clear as mud. I think someone is playing games with his photo. But if he really is claiming this, then he is an even bigger idiot than I gave him credit for.
