Hopefully the article is enough to convince some people to not get involved. Joining this late in the game you may as well just take the money to a casino, at least you have a chance of getting your money back that way.
What I find funny is that some of them - like Danny - are claiming the Sunday Times article is "neutral". Not the way I read it, it isn't!
One of them has even posted it on Danny's "notascam" FB page.
I think there are far fewer postings on Simon's "success" page as well. Not much from the main players and hasn't been for days, even weeks. I think some of them are getting scared. Or, as Ribshaw says, are looking for an escape hatch.

Most of the serial ponzi players are long gone.
It's only the "true believers" who get scared, the regular ponzi players know exactly what's happening and how to read the signs.
As for the "usual suspect" public faces, as in: Tones, Septic, Danny and the Gherbil, they see themselves as untouchable, and have their money from the pyramid recruiting anyway, so they are not in the least concerned.

Over on his blog, Danny boy has turned his attention to Jon Walsh and Scott Russel, both of whom were named and quoted in the Sunday Times article.
He has a bash at them both, and repeats his claim that Jon Walsh was trying to strike a deal with MAPs (though what that alleged deal was, he does not say). Are these what you call "ad hominem" attacks? Responding to an arguement by attacking someone's character?
I suppose he cannot refute the arguments in the article, so he has to go for the personal attack?

the 'deal' was what Jon was proposing that was never hidden if that's what scammer turner is trying to allude to. We all saw it. Real advertisers once map proved it was a real adverting platform which it can not do.

Rational people should be asking themselves why Banner Broker MAPS has zero media strategy. Why they would send this guy to Germany, Italy, Portugal, Ireland, Malta and a town near them but won't talk to two newspapers that reach millions?

Why scamstress Annie http://www.realscam.com/f9/digadz-3662/ thinks she has any idea how to suss out a real business or an honest admin?

As they should, they need to be getting their money out and talking to law enforcement. Using http://www.realscam.com/f8/banners-b...html#post89277 as a case study, victims are probably years away from seeing any recovery and justice may never be served to Raj Dixit and Chris Smith.

Needs to be letters six inches tall, cast in stainless steel and repeatedly banged against the heads of the Mappers until their thinking circuits trip to "on".
"Advertising company" my ass ...
More like "hide in the cracks in the floorboards and hope you don't get stepped on" company.

Mappers need to be asking themselves what million dollar, soon to be billion dollar company allows its customer to engage in infantile slander of people that think your business is a scam. It makes the "business" look even more pathetic.

Im no expert, but in my opinion MAPpers should be most worried about this line from the times article:
"To me, Map appears to be a Ponzi scheme that has managed to slip under the regulators’ radar"
Well you can rest assured if MAP did go under the regulators radar, it is lit up like a christmas tree now.

I've had a look at an interesting site (which has been referred to before on RS forum) called Similarweb.
It had the following analysis of MAPs:-
Attachment 11929 Attachment 11930 Attachment 11931
Since one of the top sites that people visit from MAPs is Traffic Monsoon, I decided to have a look at that one too. It's pretty similar to My Advertising Pays, isn't it? Traffic Monsoon is the orange line:-
Attachment 11932
So it looks as if Traffic Monsoon is doing better in the attracting people stakes, despite not having the biggest pipes in the world. And in spite of all the hoopla about MAPs needing bigger servers to cope with all the traffic, MAPs being "on fire" and "exploding", it has been bumping along pretty steadily for the last 6 months. No great falls - but no great rises either.

Danny boy is out there, laying down the law......
Attachment 11933 Attachment 11934
The black arrow is mine. Note how they are now sooooo concerned to stress that MAPs is an "advertising business"?
I don't think they will succeed in this. Ask someone to join an online advertising business and they are likey to look puzzled and ask what you mean. Ask someone if they want to join an online advertising business and make loadsa money, and they may be more interested.
There are indeed adverts of a sort on the site, I believe that; but you have to ask what type of adverts and if they add any value to life.

Not quite sure what Dick Mead is trying to say here.

Is it....All big businesses have tech issues, therefore MAPs is a big business and is real?
The HSBC is one of the UK's four big clearing banks. It has 1,500 branches in England and Wales. It has 8,000 staff in its UK head office in London, spread over 42 floors of HSBC tower in Canary Wharf. In the Uk it also runs First Direct and HFC Banks, and works in partnership with Marks and Spencer Bank and the John Lews Partnership (credit) card. That's before we get onto its European and worldwide activities.
Maps, on the other hand, has 3 or 4 ladies with laptops sitting on a sofa in the Booths front room, plus a claimed 180,000 members.
Hardly in the same league.

I wonder what Danny is inferring here.
Is he saying we made up the screenshots or is he saying Is It Down Right Now? Website Down or Not? and Down For Everyone Or Just Me -> Check if your website is down or up?are wrong ???
How about the possibility when we looked, the site WAS down ........AGAIN.......but, when he looked, it was up ???
What if nerd is right and the site did take 20 seconds to load ??
Here's the thing, forget about what we do, any potential advertisers or members are going to do exactly what we did and check out one of the website checking sites and get exactly the same results as we did.
They sure as h*** won't be looking up Dannys' Facebook page to find out why the so called multi million dollar advertising companies' website is down so often and they most certainly won't be looking to see how many "haterz" there are and blaming them.
Another nail in the coffin, Danny, another nail in the coffin.

MAPERZ get their updates from any of 46,857 Facebook groups each with their own MAP mouthpiece(s), no financials, and invisible leadership desperately trying to fly under the government radar by using multiple mail drops. I am also not aware of HSBC running around hotel conference rooms of the world claiming anyone can be in the banking business if they just BUY BUY BUY "Savings Packs."
Yeah, I can see how someone running a scam might pretend the two are similar.
