You made the point very succinctly. People like Kathleen and Boggy Boy will make excellent cartoons and I can't wait to see the best of them. There will be genuine business opportunities in Ex-Adlanders. I do not think Kathleen will show her nose there to advertise trash. You could not get many forums which are better policed than Ex Adlanders - Index.

Ex Adlanders is not my site Scrathy. I wish I had the technical ability to create something like that.

It was designed by an Ex Adlander who advertised his legitimate web hosting business on Adland in the early days and discovered many home truths about Adland. It will not take you long to know who has created it when you are familiar with the web master's skills and writing style. Hi Mary Evelyn,

First I understood the reasoning behind being suspicious of non-photo members because of recent happenings, BUT when I looked at John's forum posts, there were only a few, here and at 1 other forum, and nothing to do with bothering people. The strong reaction from the other member made me think he'd posted tons of ads in tons of places, but that wasn't the case.

I also understand we're a few days away from Christmas and it's stressful and if people don't get their Paypal income by today, it won't be deposited into their banks by Saturday, I try to have some tolerance for people. We all need to be more tolerant, especially during holiday stress, and always try to be patient with new people who don't have photos, to give them a chance to upload and become familiar with being here. No reason for experienced members to freak out if nobody is bothering them personally.

Hi John,

I've only seen you promoting 2 businesses in 2 forums today and not bothering anyone, I don't know why anyone would have an issue with that.

It would take a lifetime to point out every person who doesn't have a photo here. Some people don't have digital camera, scanner, whatever, some people are elderly or non-technical. I remember when I was new to the community a long time ago and posted a lot of ads in Offers/Requests without a photo and was either ignored or treated like a would-be criminal.

If you don't have a photo or profile written yet, click on PROFILE EDIT on the left side of your screen, then click UPLOAD PICTURE, if you have a photo of yourself, and then click ABOUT ME and write something, THANKS!

Kathleen when I saw your post in the post history I wondered what was going on and unfortunately I found out there are still those in the community who like to embarrass a new person. I had to take a look at John's profile to find out what you were talking about. How can we ever expect new people to stay and become a part of this community when we have people posting hateful comments like this on someone's profile for all the world to see. Wanna bet the hateful campaigns behind the scenes are still going on via PMs'? Shame shame!!! No wonder we have so many new people who join and then never come back. Can't say as I blame them.
We have several long time members who won't even put their last name or city of residence on their profile and then they dare to chastise a newcomer? Unreal!! I didn't have a profile photo for a long time because I didn't know how to upload it and the one I used before this one, my stepson uploaded for me. I have since learned how to do it myself with a lot of help from a very good friend.

This happened to me in FB on Christmas Eve. I had replied to a comment on my wall and said thank you to a friend. This friend just happens to be named "Kathleen". I clicked on what I thought was her that popped up and lo and behold, I had mistakenly clicked on Kathleen Vanbeekom!! This had never happened before because she/EZ wealth is not a friend of mine or in my friend's list. I quickly apologized to her rude comment on my wall, then found the BLOCK this person tab. Even before I accomplished this and having sent her a couple of messages to explain and apologize, wish her a Merry Christmas, she had posted 2 more very rude comments. All were deleted asap! She wanted to know since I had posted a link to my wall on her wall if I was still making negative remarks about her in other places...

Trying to stick with facts as much as possible and quoting from her own words, if that is being negative. Well, I don't want my friends and family involved in something they would choose to not be. Anything further develops on that front, she will be reported to Facebook admin.
