Akamai Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: AKAM), the global leader in Content Delivery Network services, today announced an evolution to its organizational structure aimed at increasing productivity and growth opportunities from its ongoing innovation and go-to-market initiatives.
Effective at the start of the second quarter of 2016, Akamai’s current products and development organization and global sales, channels and marketing teams will be re-aligned into two divisions to focus on the company’s Media and Web customers and solutions. Each division will integrate existing Akamai personnel from product management, product development, sales, channels and product marketing into their teams. The new structure is designed to create tighter alignment and integration between customer requirements and product innovation, while increasing the ease of leveraging Akamai’s services.
Commenting on the new organizational model, Dr. Tom Leighton, Akamai’s Chief Executive Officer, said, “This is a natural evolution of our company structure intended to help us better serve our customers and further accelerate growth. We’ve made great strides in diversifying our product portfolio in recent years, delivering record sales and profitability. As we close out another excellent year, I believe our Media and Web businesses are now at the scale where a transition to this type of customer- and solutions-centric organization makes sense. By better aligning our teams that build product with those that work day-to-day with our world-class customers, I am confident in our ability to bring new solutions to market faster and to make Akamai services even easier for our customers to consume.”
Rick McConnell will serve as General Manager of the Web Division and as President, overseeing corporate development and other core functions. Bill Wheaton will serve as General Manager of the Media Division and as Executive Vice President. Sanjay Singh, formerly General Manager for APJ, will now report to Leighton as Senior Vice President of Global Operations, overseeing EMEA and APJ operations and Akamai’s centers of excellence in Bangalore, Krakow and Costa Rica. Adam Karon will now report to Leighton as Senior Vice President, Global Services and Support. Robert Hughes, who joined Akamai in 1999, and has led the Company’s world-class sales, services and marketing organization, will become a Strategic Advisor to Leighton and the senior management team for the next year as part of a planned transition.
In addition to the Media and Web Divisions, Global Operations, and Services and Support, the other cross-divisional functions reporting to the CEO include Platform, Finance, Legal, Human Resources and Corporate Marketing and Communications.

Oh, I don't know.
Probably for the same reason Andy Bowdoin continued to give updates AFTER the US Secret Service busted AdSurf Daily, froze its' Bank of America accounts and arrested him
To squeeze every dollar he could out of his victims

Ironically iof TM was an actual legit business and the model worked and it was growing and playing markets and selling advertising it would not matter that money was frozen by anyone because it claims the business model is NOT ABOUT MONEY BEING PAID IN BEING USED TO PAY LATER JOINERS. Because that is what a ponzi does. SO if TM is NOT a Ponzi then money already paid in wont matter for payouts. It would not have to put people into "pending" payment if the payout did not directly depend on earlier money paid into TM.

I'm sorry but I'm so glad that e2014t or whatever her name is has gone, the woman is so blatantly a fraud its not funny and she just chats sh!t. I'm sorry if that offends anyone but there you go. As for tm it looks like Scoville is living out of a suitcase hiding in Dubai and Sharon isn't looking the smiley happy witch she once was, could that mean the wheels have fallen off the scam? I heard from a journalist I know that a group of not so nice Russians had invested oops can't use that word bought in to tm and now realising that theyve been had arnt too pleased. I hope for Scovilles sake that's not true or he may not get chance to spend all those yummy millions on a new life in the UAE. Had a look on Facebook earlier and the tide has definitely turned and more and more people are after his hide and are asking not so nicely for their money back. Dont think id like to be a call handler at paypal right now with the amount of people trying to file disputes and complaints. I watched a video of Charles explaining why they arnt paying people at the moment and it sounded suspiciously like a ponzi scheme coming from his lips, are they in a state of panic and making mistakes?

Nah, they are doing what every "next-big-thing" ponzi does as it nears its' end.
At this end of a ponzis' lifetime they know they are preaching to the converted.
There's very little new money from new recruits to be had, so it's a matter of keeping the faithful on board for as long as possible to both prevent them from going down the chargeback route and complaining to the authorities and conning them into starting round two via Payza and Solid Trust Pay.
Remember: every completed chargeback means not only does TM have the money reclaimed from its' account, but it receives a penalty as well and the 180 day Paypal refund period is extended as well.
That is on top of the fact Paypal has compulsorily reported the suspicious Traffic Monsoon related activity to the authorities.

And here's why TM members should ask to have their dispute escalated to a claim if they do not get satisfaction at first
The more accepted disputes and claims Paypal receive, the greater number of future claims will be accepted as the Paypal system recognizes Traffic Monsoon is a fraud.

As predicted, Scoville is trying to start a "Round two" by placing the Paypal accounts into a "pending" status and forcing members to open a Payza or STP account if they want to keep earning.
Payouts will now be dependent on finding enough members who are willing to start again and who will deposit enough into STP and Payza to cover payouts.
Everything members have done up until now counts for nothing.
IOW, a perfect description of how a ponzi works.

Remember the face and Facebook pageof your new bestest friend, Sharon James, people.
You may need it in the coming months when things turn nasty.
You''be able to look back and remember when Sharon was still describing Charles Scoville as a genius, even AFTER Traffic Monsoon fell into a giant ponzipit and stole your money
