Ive never mentioned paypal or anyone else in the payment processing world but if you want an opinion I actually agree they should be held accountable. I dont like the way they do business which is why I dont use them. I dont like the fact theyve kept money in the past from these ponzi scams, they should hand it back to the people who bought in. But you name 1 big company that doesnt bend or break the rules. They all do it, for example not far from me is an ICI plant and every year they dump toxic waste into the river that runs along side it and dya wanna know what their explanation is? Its cheaper to pay the fine every year than it is to pay a company to take the toxic waste away. Lets not be naive here and think that its just paypal and the likes cause its just plain not.

In his update from yesterday, Charles says he doesn't need a loan. That's too bad he doesn't see the money he is taking in as a loan with a 10% interest rate attached to it. It would clear up his "vision" quite a bit if he started to look at members' money this way.

He obviously sees it as his money, even the people involved say things like "its paypal that have frozen Charles money so their to blame". He absolutely sold it good and proper to these people. Its a shame really cause 60 million in the right hands could do a lot of good instead of making him rich.

If you haven't read and / or don't understand the Bank Secrecy Act, under which Paypal operates, then just say so.

People need to understand, attempt to run a ponzi fraud from within the USA and you are going to be watched MONTHS before you even begin to suspect it.

Open a PACER account and read the court documents associated with ponzi related prosecutions over the past ten years before you begin to place the blame on banks or Paypal.

They have no control over how long investigation and prosecution takes after they have (compulsorily) filed Suspicious Activity Reports, cannot inform the client they have filed SARs and are, in manycases, requested by the investigating agencies to allow the suspicious account/s to remain in place.

Do you really think the Secret Service or DoJ "accidentally" came across Andy Bowdoins' account numbers, balances and transaction history to present to the court when it obtained the emergency injunction ???

Throw in as many strawman arguments as you like.

Run a US based ponzi for more than a few months or that attracts a large amount of money in a short amount of time or that fulfills any of the Suspicious Activity Reporting requirements and you WILL be reported AND if your particular fraud hasn't collapsed any US based accounts WILL be frozen.

I understand very well, thank you very much. PayPal spies on little crooks and pockets all the fees in the process. If it wasn't so greedy and huge, it would know each of its customers by name, know their history, and none of this would be happening in the first place. No money laundering platforms=no scams.

No payment processor is going to "know each of its customers by name, know their history." The payment processors are highly regulated and Paypal is operating exactly as it should. Paypal has very good terms of service and I have seen those enforced with proper notification. Your theory is completely naive and no business could operate this way.

Some mind boggling numbers there. Whether anyone likes it or not they offer a service thats obviously needed judging by those numbers and their here to stay. Not much point wasting time pointing the finger at them their not the ones who start schemes like TM. Yes I know there used by scammers to get going and take whatever they can out of the account as quickly as poss but they obviously freeze it when they get suspicious as they have with TM. Dont you mean as long as there are people like Charles out there willing to fleece gullible people? Theres nothing you or I can do about banks or any other large organisation but as long as people are willing to put posts on their facebook page exposing them then maybe just maybe you might actually stop a few people dropping their money into it. Id much rather do something like that as it might make a difference to someone who cant afford to lose the money.

The number of such people isn't going to get smaller. In fact, it's going to grow in the general atmosphere of the consumer society driven almost entirely by the ideals of material gain being a benchmark of success. I'm not arguing with you, I'm pointing out what the future of this culture will look like.

I dont what youve said for a minute. What Iam kinda saying is why waste your effort trying to change someone you cant, put your efforts into warning others about people like Scoville when you can. You might actually make a difference at ground level so that some people who are tempted by his claims start to see it for what it really is. Worry about the things you can control.

Does that mean you shouldnt try? I for one would rather take the flak of the borgs hes brainwashed and carry on, even if one person doesnt join then im doing some good for someone. Dont forget people are lazy and wont always want to dig around for info, which is bad yes but true. It could be your mum or my mum looking to improve her life a bit but ends up being the victim.

Your not powerless Im surprised you said that tbh. If you find a facebook page thats clearly a ponzi scam jump on it and make a few comments, stir up a dibate. Youve got more power talking about it there than you have making comments in here cause they wont read it in here. As you know from my 1st post today on here that I was having fun on the traffic monsoon facebook page, I know we had a few crossed words about it but hear me out. I was on there for maybe 6 hours on and off saying different things or poking fun at the borgs cause their done they simply wont listen but on the other hand Ive had nearly 200 likes dozens of friends requests and probably about 15 to 20 private messages thanking me for waking them up before it was too late. Thats just one man making comments, telling some truth and yes poking a little fun. Now if you did that as well thats two people spreading the word and I bet you that by the end of the day youll see a similar thing with regards to likes, messages etc. So you see you can make a difference if you try at ground level. And I have to say after reading some of the messages people have sent me I feel quite good about it. Try it dont just write it off as being powerless to do anything, Im telling you you can.

Well, MMG members are a really tough crowd. You aren't going to get too many thanks or likes for trying to reason with them, but I haven't given up just yet.

Why bother with mmg members, most are either in on it or want in. Not just that its not the right audience. If you know of a scam being run thats using facebook then thats the pages to hit I wouldnt waste my time on mmg. Hit it where there getting the publics traffic and selling it to people, thats were youll truly make a difference. The scammers wont like you for it but hey do you want their friendship, I dont thanks. I dont know how many people have read what Ive been posting today but im 100% sure ive stopped quite a few spending anymore money. They have built up a target audience to scam so your posts have a ready made audience for you to tell the truth. Easy even for a noob like me
