Litigation privilege allows the attorney to put anything in a pleading regardless of how farcical but its has ZERO chance of not being laughed at come Mar 18th.

At trial- less than a penny on each dollar from outside income by Scamville's own admission makes this a a SEC slam dunk.

Can someone please explain the process for Oral Arguments?
Both sides put their case to the Judge and then what? Will we get an instant Judgement or will we have to wait for the outcome?

So, it depends entirely on the Judge as to whether or not the arguments made are successful

It is common, in fact I think its normal, for the attorney while presenting oral arguments to be interrupted by questions from the bench, and they really don't get much time to present their case as much as they defend the case they attempted to make in the motions and record of the trial. Go back, if you can find it, and watch the oral arguments that were made to the Florida Supreme Court in the 2000 election recount cases that they heard. This is a pretty rare appeals court oral argument hearing that was shown on live television and I'd bet one of the only times most Americans have actually seen a proceeding of an appeals court.

I thought when it was happening that it was unusual, but even SCOTUS (again, read the transcript of Bush V. Gore) barely lets the attorney for either side start talking before they stop them, mid sentence, and start asking questions. If you're not familiar with the practice, it almost sounds rude.

So, I'm not a lawyer, and feel free attorneys to correct me if I'm wrong, but for the most part, appeals are decided in the greater part by the written motions and pleadings made before the actual oral arguments.

True, I don't have to look at it or listen to it, but I'm guessing that anxious TM-ers check into his page in the hope of news, and thus cannot avoid it. if I had been in Traffic Monsoon, and subjected to all the nonsense he is coming out with now, I would be at boiling point! A bit like these people.....

Looking for legitimate updates from a scammer is foolish. Former TM members should simply be following the receiver website and court documents.

Those looking for guidance from Charles are probably the same ones who will let him and other TM promoters talk them out of filing a claim for their losses if/when it comes to that point.

The only ones who should probably be paying any attention to him are we "haters", and that's mostly for entertainment purposes.

Looking at Charlies' eyes and his behaviour of late, it's not hard to understand how Karl Marx' often paraphrased "Religion is the opiate of the people" entered the language.

Yes he really has become boring with the same repetitive mantra, but you haven't seen nothing yet. We have roughly 2 months before the oral arguments at the Appellant Court, then wait for their ruling. As soon as they rule against him is when Charles will try to take his nonsense to a higher level of nuttiness. I expect him to claim that they will appeal to the Supreme Court when he loses his appeal. This would push any civil trial until 2019 if they do; and it is another $10K just to file if my memory serves me correctly. It is probably going to be after September before there will be a civil trial at this rate. I had hoped that the appeals court would just refuse to hear the case so the civil trial could start early summer. Not to be. The only good news is that there will only be a couple hundred believers still onboard with him. He has lost 99.9% of his following and it is killing him. I have no doubt he truly believes his latest posts will win them back.

Charles, all those claims of undying love and support from your members was not for you. Their support and undying love was for the money you were paying them. You believed them just as they believed and trusted in you to pay them, and you were both lying.

Since he doesn't have standing, can't the appeals court reject the appeal?

They can deny it, but they have to hear it to say no to him. Every case gets a decision and every decision is entitled to an appeal, an appeal not entitled to another appeal, after the first one the can refuse it.
