Does anyone know if this is true, or is it old news?

I know there have been some questions about our new friend, Sunil Patel. Specifically, if he is a landlord (and the one called a "dodgy landlord" in some newspaper reports), or not.

Well, he certainly likes to present himself as a landlord:-

the affidavit reads li,ke someone with a knife sticking out of their back saying " nothing wrong with me. this doesnt hurt. The person who stuck it in me isnt malicious. It isnt a deadly weapon anyway"
The think is it isnt for them to decide whether or not they have been defrauded.
Fraud is a CRIMINAL law. Unlike a tort or a breach of contract in civil law where one party can forget about the damage caused a CRIME is seen to be bad for society and had to be prosecuted.
Also they seem to think that courts operate on a democratic pronciple in that if enough people say something is ok when the law says it is illegal then it wont be illegal. But courts operate on what the law says! If it is against the the it is againt it no matter what people say. The people could change the law but even of they did ( and this isnt going to happen anyway) the breaking of it cant be made retroactive.
Ironically while the affidavits may well be ruled to have no standing in disproving the crime the prosecution may well be able to use them as evidence that people were duped.

Rather obvious that they learned nothing from ASD or Zeek! Seems like an echo in here!

The big one: Talking to SEC w/no lawyer and implicating himself beyond a doubt. His big mouth eliminated any need for SEC to settle / take it easy.

YUP ! Yelling out the window will have as much impact as all their efforts....

I think that Sunil has bitten off more than he can chew with this REVOLUTION DAY event. While he was thinking that only the rah-rah supporters of TM would be attending, it never dawned on him that those who are upset at being scammed would also show up. Some are angry enough at him that this event could turn ugly and real fast. Maybe not while at the beach, but if they adjourn to the local pub, it could be major confrontation time. I have already seen a few posts that the anti-TM people will be attending and one said he was bringing his "lads" with him. I got the impression that "lads" was not a passive type of person.

It is going to be interesting to find out what happens when the dust settles. I am sure there will be videos and who knows they all might make the nightly news! Can't you just see the headline: BREAKING NEWS! Riot at Brighton Beach, rowdy crowd, fist-a-cuffs break out at rally. More on News @ 11:00!

I thought the TMers in UK membership was mostly 1st/2nd generation immigrants( from Sunil, Immy,etc) and uneducated single mum types. (from Sharon, Anita, etc)

Recently a large group of "soccer hooligans on the dole who drink all day" types have come out of the woodwork with bad intentions.
If you can judge by their profile pics=these guys look mean and crazy enough to whip ass on TM pansy types like Sunil regardless if they go to jail.

I guess they do not want any seized funds distributed to them - good. That might be seen by receiver as they abandoning their claims by lying that they only bought ads service to promote other ponzis.
