Welcome to the thread.
Other than "people are being paid" can you provide any business related arguments how this would not be a scam?
Here is the rough math.
If your somebody put $50 in, each pack matures at $55. If he/she continues to play the game and take out only profit, how many cycles can they be paid with their own money?
If you answered 10 you get a star. If you thought to yourself holy **** it will take them about 2 years just to break even, still just one star we're on a budget, but good thinking.
Now if your somebody is luring suckers into this scam she/he will be paid a commission for doing so, let's say 10%. If your buddy gets a gaggle of numpties to pony up $1,000,000 he/she will get a $100,000 cut. From a business legitimacy standpoint what does that prove?
If you said nothing: one star, one atta-boy (holiday leftovers). Scoville gets $900,000 and the roper gets $100,000, meaningless in discussing the merits of the business.
The only workaround in legal terms is there are too many of these scams to chase down. If you review TM using both the "Howey" and "Koscot" tests it is abundantly clear to me this is both an unregistered security and an illegal pyramid.
Then again, at the most base level I am not silly enough to believe the 100s of companies, Traffic Monsoon being one, that CLAIM they will pay me porn star cash for fluffer work.

Haven't lost any money to online scams.......results are typical.
So let me get this straight. These twits actually want to raise money to send Charles and his son on a vacation for Christmas, and are raising money from TM members to do so. Seriously? These nitwits have raised $1,154 of $7,500 from 13 people so far. Charles could pay for an around the world tour first class with his son from the money he is taking in from his illegal pyramid scheme TWICE, and barely make a dent in his piggy-bank.
Good grief, these people wouldn't know to come in out of the rain. They would let a smile be their umbrella and drown in the process. This is stupidity at its worse.
Maybe these twits should read what Charles said at MMG in defense of TM not being a Ponzi, and then re-think their Christmas gift, and I quote:
Charles: "While it does share revenues from the sales of services sold on TM, there's no investment.. no guaranteed income...
and not only that, earnings on accounts are 100% and completely backed up inside the payment processors for members to make a withdrawal.
No purchase is required to earn. People can refer customers to buy TM ad services without making a purchase first.
Free members can refer free members to click on cash links.
There's absolutely no validity to the accusation that TM is a ponzi in the slightest ..
Ponzi schemes place figures on account which they don't actually have available for withdrawal.. so when everyone requests their account balance, a ponzi collapses ..
The great thing about TM is -- if everyone requested their account balance all at once, everyone would be paid, and there'd be money to spare.
Proof of this fact has been displayed at multiple meetings with leaders showing the total account balances of all members... and the very fact that all of the member account balances are fully supported with the funds contained inside the payment processors. That's complete proof and 100% evidence that TM isn't a ponzi.
A ponzi never has enough to cover everyone's account balances. That's what makes it a ponzi. TM always has more than enough to cover everyone's account balances. That's one of the clear evidences it's not a ponzi."

I am late to this thread,
so basically TM is a ponzi even if free members can refer paying members?
Do people get paid on their people? And so on?
Is this like Neobux?
What investments are guaranteed?
What separates this from the average affiliate/click-for-pennies site.
Yes. For it not to be a Ponzi they would have to be selling advertising as a stand alone product. Conversely, if people could sign up just to click and were separated from the advertising that would be fine.
The goofy rev share and $50 turns into $55 is where the trouble starts.
This part is:
Cash links – When purchased purchased, you get visitors to your site for a period ranging from 5 seconds to 1 minute depending on your budget. This is also what free members earn from. One click can cost you between $0.001 to $0.01. Members earn the same when they click on them. Geo targeting is also a recent added feature. Traffic Monsoon Review:Must Read | Traffic Monsoon LLC
Click 5000 best case scenario ads per day, earn $5. Yippie!!! (This begs the question how or why Scoville can pay people the same $5 for clicking roughly 600 ads (10xdaily*60 days) if they give him $50 first)
That's the only way the magic happens.
You can buy guarantees (similar to insurance) on many investments, the net result will always be a drag on returns.
What separates TM and the zillion other ad clicking scams is they deviate from economic reality.
I would consider clicking 5000 ads for $5 with no cash outlay on the clickers part a fair deal for the advertiser. Maybe for someone that's home bound or living in Venezuela it's a fair trade for their time. This arrangement certainly serves Charlie's need to cheaply drive up his Alexa rating. For the rest of us, I don't think it's possible to do that many clicks in a day.

Spare a thought for these poor suckers who got roped into investing in this ponzi by way of Ken Russo's co-op......(SMFH @ his calling this a co-op)....
December 3, 2015
Season's Greetings Everyone,
Co-ops Are The Way To Go
As you should know, about 2 weeks ago I put together a co-op
for the Traffic Monsoon program. My original goal was to acquire
$4000. I announced the co-op at about 9 AM on the morning of
November 17. In just a matter of hours I had reached the goal with
only 21 members and I announced that the co-op was closed at
about 3 PM on the same day. However, requests to join the co-op
kept on coming. This led to my decision to open Phase 2 of the
co-op which I announced 4 days later on November 21. I stated
that Phase 2 would be open for 48 hours. During that period of
time an additional 33 members joined the co-op bringing the total
number of co-op members to 54. The amount of $100 shares
purchased by all co-op members totaled $17800. This means
that a total of 178 shares were purchased by co-op members.
Here are the current stats in our Traffic Monsoon co-op
account....
Active Sharing Positions-------------581
Total Sharing Positions---------------581
Earnings From Sharing Positions---$6059.25
Value of positions at maturity-------$31955.00
This has happened in just 15 days since we made our first
Ad Pack purchase on November 19. In another 75 days
(using the 91%/9% strategy) our co-op account will be
worth about $90,000. This means each $100 share will
be worth $505 and that is when the co-op members will
begin to receive payments.
After another 90 day period the account will be worth
about $210,000 at which time each $100 share will be
worth about $1180.
Join Us To Participate In Future Co-ops
This brings me to the main reason for this update. Although
our Traffic Monsoon co-op is now closed to new members,
I am inviting new members to join us in order to participate
in future co-ops. The main reasons that you may want to join
us are these....
....There is strength in numbers. The more funds we place
into a program the faster our earnings will compound, especially
with programs like Traffic Monsoon where the key to success is
to purchase as many Ad Packs as quickly as possible
....By joining a co-op the risk to the individual member is minimized.
Based upon my experience with our current 54 member co-op, I
believe that a group of 100 co-op members is manageable. Therefore,
I am extending this invitation to another 46 folks who would like to join
us in future co-op ventures. Those who wish to be among this group
can simple respond to this message. In the message body please provide
your full name and the email address you wish to use to receive co-op
updates. You will be added to my co-op team update list so that you are
ready to go when I announce the next co-op venture.

That's harsh, I misunderstood the Cash Links.
Really though, who wouldn't join for this sweet compounding?
After a decade of Ken pimping failed scams that NEVER lived up to this math, him raising $.02 for his "co-op" is mystery for the ages.Originally Posted by Kiss of Death Russo

only one of these referrals owns a rev share pack or has purchased any of the other services.
It's not grounded in reality, like a five-year-old doing Lemonade Stand math. Daddy if me sell 10,00 cups I can quit the kindergarten, marry mommy, and you can go live with your skeez down by the Pawn.
If the ONLY option was signing up for free, gemming paid fo clickaroo to their hearts content without the "credit pack" BS then there wouldn't be much concern.
How much total time have you put in for your $41.82?
So Scoville has your $41.82 back and a new fish on the line.

i have been a member since october 20th 2014 but i never bought anything until jan 2015 .
the 41.82 has come from my referrals clicking the cash links .
yes the cash links are away from the rev sharing completely . once bought they the money is consumed between the clicker and the sponsor of the clicker 100%
there is a member showing that he has 36 cents worth of them today . i had 30 in my back office.
so yes there are some folks finding some value in that service . i bought some and received the clicks to the promotion very fast . within minutes actually but only 1 signup from a 10$ purchase . on the flip side the results ive received from the massive traffic and share package ad services have gained me the most referrals .
i never have been able to buy a login ad as none are available.
just a simple question I know you guys dont like Charles or the monsoon . but is it illegal for him to share money back from a sale of service . is there a law written that clearly states that someone cannot share money to others? or is just the fact that he shares above the purchase ?
sometimes there are a few more funny how the members that only click these ads call the monsoon a scam when there are none to click .. actually if Charles gave ads for free with no one purchasing them would be a scam tactic to me... cant give whats not purchased. they seem to think he owes them a click just because ...

$42.23
Referral CashLinks looks like ive made 42 cents over night from my referrals clicking the ads
looks as if ther member buying these 2 cent ads is promoting clixsense.
The free signup im assuming is an incentive to draw clickers for his advertisers, otherwise there would nobody to sell ads to.
He has to pay SOMETHING, the bare minimum to get people to click, click, click.
The real magic comes from the 'rev share' pool that feeds earlier investors.
The SEC says anything that promises a return is a security, and needs to be licensed. If charles Scoville is not registered with the SEC than he is offering illegal securities, regardless of how many chest-bumps he does.
Furthermore anything that is too hard to understand compensation-wise is a scam.
Where on the site have you seen a promised return ? Or am i missing something ? Ive seen some say that the 2.08% is a fixed retun. Some days i get 2% some days 2.04% some days 2.08% it seems to be a steady number but not. 100 % fixed..
What does whether the return is variable or fixed have to do with Securities laws ???
As Fendaril says:The SEC says anything that promises a return is a security, and needs to be licensed. If charles Scoville is not registered with the SEC than he is offering illegal securities, regardless of how many chest-bumps he does.
The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing
I have no idea what you just said.
What I could take away IMHO is even the time you spent here wasn't worth $41.82, never mind all the nose wiping and mollycoddling team building takes.
WOULD YOU LIKE FRIES WITH THAT.JPG
Has nothing to do with the legitimacy of the business which is what this is about. I've done lots of work with people I couldn't stand, and probably 1or 2that couldn't stand me. None of us were screwing over gullible folks that couldn't afford to lose a dime.
You have no proof he is sharing revenue and not running a Ponzi scheme. If he was "sharing" as you assert, people wouldn't have to put money in first. Much like the $41.82 you collected since October, fishermen "share" night crawlers with suckers for the same reason.
Even if Scoville was operating a legit business he is still in violation of securities law, since he isn't will toss in mail and wire fraud for good measure.

also in the statement that you quoted that he has to register with the sec if he promises a fixed return . there is no promise or guarantee of anything . its all over the website . even upon every purchase . "since the amount shared is based on sales there is no way to guarantee or promise a set time or a set return as we have no idea how much folks will buy" .. I would love for him to call the sec and try to register an ad service as a security they would likely hang up on him...lol
its because the people that bash ponzis and pyramid schemes cant ever get their stories straight. on the mmg forum i have heard all kinds of stuff over the last year from and i quote.
its a ponzi scheme because it is...
its a pyramid scheme because he pays 10% to sponsors for every sale of service.
its a security because he pays a fixed 2% per day
its an investment because the folks dont want the advertising
its a ponzi cause he is the admin
its a ponzi cause my uncle said so
its a pyramid scheme cause my cat said so.
its a ponzi cause utah allows ponzis
its a ponzi cause you cant share money back to a person buying an item
its a pyramid cause lynndel said so
its a security because people profit from it
its a ponzi cause it gets cold in utah
its a ponzi cause advertising is not a real product
its a ponzi cause charles cant prove how much money is owed
its a ponzi cause the Howey test can be applied
its not a ponzi cause the Howey test proves its a pyramid scheme instead
its a scam because it will not last more than 6 months
its a ponzi cause no one is really withdrawing money and its all fake screenshots
the list can go on and on but i see more opinions than facts posted about the monsoon .
no one can ever seem to say more than its a ponzi cause its a ponzi .
ive been asked prove that he shares the revenue from the selling of the advertising .
how about prove he is not sharing revenue legally .
i know that it will likely not last forever . im not that naive but why does it have to be anything more than a high risk business model vs all this other crap... lol
what i would like to ask is any suggestions on how he could make the sharing 100% legal in your eyes. ?

i see now sorry i skimmed over the question I have spent little if no time promoting the monsoon i have 3 referrals from my mmg signature
the 42.92 i have now is also what those referrals have made
i have a total of 22 referrals
1 has active ad packs
21 do not
7 of them have arrived and signed up under me from websites ive never visited in my life.
that does go to show that he promotes our referral links outside of the monsoon . i even have 4 of those clicking referrals that show to be signed up from the monsoon itself ...

Your problem is, stacy, convincing you or other ponzi apologists isn't the point.
YOU may understand the risks involved in playing ponzis and pyramids and the other apologists on MMG might understand as well, but you or they aren't the reason REALSCAM.com and other forums like it exist.
The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing
What i read in this post was we only wish to post and respond to folks that agree with us . we have no wish in proving our points as they are always correct we only wish to applaude each other when we call something a ponzi . i dont wish to prove you guys wrong never have. Thats not what i care to do . i just dont understand when. Some people are trying to prove something that they feel is a scam they have to post stuff that has nothing to do with the subject just to make someone agree with their opinions.
