It boggles my mind how people not only fall for scams like this but then they defend them. And they can be quite nasty in their defence too.

Two things are very difficult for me as these scams progress, one is separating "true victims" from people that are complicit and those that are certain it's a Ponzi but still want to earn some quick cash.
With that said, there are victims that get quite nasty and irrational. Now we are hearing about "growing pains" and the like from the pimps. When this implodes, and it will the haterz, the banks, and the gubmit will be blamed for wrecking a good thing.
Some people honestly believe what they are saying, others just reading from the script.


Second is not becoming somewhat contemptuous toward many of the participants. There is a cult like group think that goes into these schemes, sure as sunrise as soon as the wishful thinking ceases to work they all run to their banks and/or paypal crying innocence. Again, some are innocent far too many know exactly what they are doing.
