    Re: Empower Network

If you are considering joining the Empower Network then I ask you to do one thing. Take a look at David Wood's, David Sharpe's, and Justin Verrengia's facebook post. The vast majority of them is either pictures or statues basically bragging about what they have. Why are they doing this? Here is why, they want YOU to think that you can achieve the same luxuries by joining EN. Well here is some news for you, it's not going to happen.

What they are doing is a huge scam tactic used by thousands of other scammers over the years. It is truly sickening to know that they are doing this while thousands of people are going broke to FUND their lavish lifestyle. Please do not spend your money to make those dirty people more wealthy then they already are.

I thought the costa rica gig was a shim. Isn't their office in some average house in Florida?

This is one of his facebook statuses which shows how people are making no money and still paying $125 a month....

I just worked out our retention numbers for Empower Network since launch 11 months ago:

41% of everyone who has bought the blog still is paying $25 per month.

43% of everyone who has bought the Inner Circle is still paying $100 per month.

The "business" is registered in Florida but I think most of the top douche bags reside in Costa Rica. The FB status you posted is a prime example of how most of their members are in zombie mode. You and I can see that post and realize that the majority of people are losing money but the EN zombies most likely liked that status and shared it. I see people sharing their statuses and thinking of how gullible they are. If anyone on my friends list EVER shared a post by those guys then I would hurt their feelings.

    Re: Empower Network

If you take that $125 and spent it on paid advertising with crappy affiliate lead capture websites than you can make much more than you would in Empower Network.

But everyone wants to be rich and successful just like Dave Wood, but nobody can make as much money as dave because the more money you make for yourself the richer he gets.

But its ok, you just have to work extra, extra hard and not be a wussy, lol.

Yeahhhh, if you don't spend extra money then you are a wussy. (Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight). How come they don't tell you that BEFORE you join? David Wood, David Sharpe and Justin Verrengia are ALL wussies. I called them out on facebook and what did they do? They deleted my comment and blocked me. That is the definition of wussy!

No, you are a wussy if you do not spend unreasonable amounts of time trying to sell their products. But, it just so happens you have to spend extra money in order to profit from that sale, otherwise it just jumps up the powerline to the Daves.

If you can't do that, you just have to hope two other people buy and keep the product and you get yours for free, with the caveat that they must sustain the membership. So if you don't buy it, you can just give the two Daves two residual income streams instead of one.

More and more people will see that they were duped by those at Empower Network and report them to the FTC. It is a matter of time before they are shut down.

If you haven't already please be sure to report them to the FTC. I know that several people have and it is a matter of time before they are shut down. Just be patient and continue to expose them in the meantime.

IM(very)HO, it's more likely to die a natural death than be closed down by regulatory action.

Pyramid / endless chain recruiting schemes are illegal for a reason.

Not only will the great majority of participants make no profit, most will actually LOSE money.

In the grand scheme of things, Empower is relatively small when compared to the next big thing get rich quick schemes and is likely to self extinguish before it does too much damage.

    Littleroundman,

I am curious to your statement about En being relatively small compared to other scams. Which ones are bigger at the moment? I have been on EN's case because they seem to be luring in several thousands of people based on their Alexa ranking.

This is for the people on FB who continuously "share" everything David Wood and David Sharpe post on there. It seems as if you need some serious mental help. It is almost like you are living vicariously through these two scammers. WAKE UP! They are ripping you off.

The answer is in your question, Bo

"At the moment" Empower Network may be one of the largest, or, at least "appear" to be one of the largest and it "seems" to be luring in several thousand of new members

    * Alexa rankings are notoriously inaccurate and easily manipulated

    * Any information coming out of Empower itself or from any of it's pimp / promoters should be ignored. Part and parcel of any good get-rich-quick scheme is fudging the numbers to make it seem more attractive. Potential new victims signups believe what they hear at their own peril.

    * Take out the regular HYIP ponzi players and confirmed get-rich-quickers and there doesn't seem to be a large amount of "new blood" so to speak becoming involved in Empower.

Ok thanks. I know that they are quick to promote their Alexa ranking when it is high (after a convention a big city) but fail to say anything about it when it falls drastically.

A scheme that allows the upline to live in a mansion in costa rica and put in 1 to 2 hours of work is not small imho.

Blogging 24/7 seems lucrative enough w/hard effort. How does Empower enhance the blogging. Is anything real?

    Re: Empower Network

The BBB has issued an alert on the Empower Network. They have dropped their rating from a C- to a D.

They issued this message with the alert:

BBB files indicate that this business has a pattern of complaints concerning misrepresentation in selling practices.

On September 26, 2013, BBB contacted Empower Network, LLC, requesting information as to why the business believes the customers are filing the complaints, and what actions the business has taken to help eliminate the causes of complaints. As of this date the business has not replied to this request.

True that Alexa ranking can be manipulated, but their manipulation is on another level. I estimate from my Alexa browsing that they are in top 500 in 70% of the countries. I never saw anything on this scale. Even Zeek and ASD were relatively local in Alexa ratings. If their base around 50K as reported, they are troughing a lot of money on website ratings manipulations.

Regrettably BBB has its own image problems with grade fixing extortions. Its very easy for scammers to say now that BBB gave them bad ratings because they did not want to pay dues.

The BBB stinks at grading. But they do an amazing job of collecting and categorizing complaints.
No way for the BBB to get around that one. Scammers can try to claim that the complaints are a small
portion of their customers, but once you get enough complaints of a same type, there's no way to get around
that a pattern of complaints is a pattern of complaints.

    Re: Empower Network

Vick aka Vitaliya Strizheus, a known con and scam artist is now butthurt that Ethan Vanderbuilt exposed him publicly.

Here is what he wrote on his facebook....

How poor get poorer by 'deciding' to be stupid sometimes:

So once there was this guy who desperately tried to make money on the internet but he kept failing over and over and over again...

Then he joined this one deal and decided to build his business by simply writing crap and trashing other successful marketers and gurus...

Instead of doing a smart thing and learn from somebody who is succeeding, he got bitter and just started to bash everybody publicly. He bashed the gurus, professional marketers, network marketing companies, systems, EVERYTHING. Everything to him was a scam.

So he was pretending to be this "nice guy" and called himself a "scam buster" trying to "save people" from all those "gurus". But as he bashed the gurus and companies, he was directing people to check out "HIS" little deal.

Anyway, so he was doing that for while.... until things got a bit too far...

He started to bash one very successful marketer and took it too far by saying things that were not actually true. Just some things that he "heard". He was never a customer. Just propagated his opinions.

Then one day this "scam buster" got a letter telling him to show up for court.

Turns out he was being sued for slander, defamation, business loss, reputation damages, and a whole slew of other things that he caused.

To make a long story short, the judge orders him to pay $350,000 in business/reputation damages and business loss that he caused for this one successful marketer.

    But HOW?!

This "scam buster" is flat broke.

    He's not making any money.

He never actually helped anybody succeed.

All he was doing was bashing and trashing people and other companies.

Well, he had a house and some personal property...

And he basically became a "slave" until he paid the $350K.

Needed to work 3 jobs just to be able to pay that.

His life turned into a living hell.

Broke just got a lot broker... simply by 'deciding' to do dumb things.

    Point of the story?

    Don't be like this dude.

I see a lot of people doing this kind of crap without realizing that one day they can potentially lose EVERYTHING they have if some company or "guru" decides to go after them for defamation and income/business loss due to their "badmouthing".

If somebody is succeeding in a particular company, and the company is legit - don't EVER call it a scam.

Don't ever blame others for your lack of success or failures.

    Take responsibility.

    Be smart.

(hopefully this post will save somebody from getting into trouble.

    Love ya'll!

Let me know if you're ready to rock 2014!

P.S. Feel free to share this. Maybe you can literally help somebody save their life.

He is barking up the wrong tree as the lawyers who prosecuted him the first time thought he should have received a harsher punishment.

    No references ??

    No court documents ??

No mentions in the media ??

Ethan Vanderbuilts' posts and videos are still online ???

A perfect example of get-rich-quick-schemers using inference to confuse their intended victims

Perhaps this tale happened in one of Robert Kiyosaki's books or in MLM fantasy land somewhere. Maybe Vick's could post the actual judgement which would be a matter of public record.

Other than that, like most of the crap Vick and his ilk push, the reader is asked to suspend disbelief. I know in the MLM community everyone thinks suing people is like the 1-800-SUEHISASS billboards meets My Cousin Vinny. But for an attorney to handle a case like this on contingency, they would want to know that if they won, they could collect. Uh defendant working three jobs, good luck with that.

More realistic scenario two. The attorney tells the client, this guy is broke, we can still sue him, but you need to give me a retainer and I will draw $200 an hour against it. Suspending disbelief again, one has to think there is someone dumb enough that they would shell out $100,000 in legal fees to NOT collect $350,000. (Even calling it $50,000, maybe they have Legal Shield )

Then again anyone who would risk his entire families well being over $30,000 probably is not only a quality person, but has great mind for numbers.

    ==================================================
Awesome site that SBM had linked somewhere else, better check it out before this guy is working 3 jobs too.

Vick Strizheus from Big Idea Mastermind is a Veteran Swindler

Vitaliy Strizheus was an insurance salesman that really loved to fill out life insurance applications so darn much … that he had begun faking them. In return for his unyielding (and quite illegal) affections towards the made-up clientele, Vitaliy had been awarded hefty commissions from the unaware company for whom he had worked.

After he pilfered around $30,000, Vitaliy finally got caught … because shockingly, fake folks can’t make real recurring payments for an extended period of time. Only due to the generosity of the judge who took into consideration Vitaliy’s family, in 2009 he was he was given a 90 day weekends only sentence that even would have made Li Lo jealous.
