Phases
From time to time we will release information about upcoming Phases. There are a number of internal Phases which are not listed here due to confidentiality and commercial reasons.
What we can say is that we are heavily committed to expanding the purposes behind Virtual Land in Earth 2 and ultimately increasing demand and value for that land.
Phase 1 - Claim Land
This phase involves the ability to claim, buy, trade, bid, analyse land trade prices and more. You can read more about Phase 1
here and more about some of the features on the web app supporting Phase 1
here.
Phase 2 - Resources
Resources will be released in the first half of 2021 at the earliest possible point. It will involve the ability for Virtual Land to begin generating different types of resources that will be vital for building and economic purposes in Earth 2. These resources will be tradable between users for other resources or credits. In the future users requiring resources to build or for other purposes will need to generate or gather resources or buy them with credits from users who have stock. We will also be releasing details about general uses for the varying resources.

In Phase 3, users will be given first access to the Earth 2 terrain system! More to come.

UPDATE - Dear Earth 2 Users. I am just writing this to let you know we're still here, I'm still here and we're still working hard on some improvements for the present Earth 2 servers. We have one team working on a new scaling system, one team working refactoring LIT (Land Income Tax) distribution and one team working on improvements to our current servers until the new scaling system is ready.
We are trying to roll out updates to the current servers while they are being smashed with traffic, I am not sure how people are doing it, but we are still receiving multiple new purchases per minute throughout the whole day, I cannot even load the website! I have heard of people sitting patiently for 15 minutes+ to buy a piece of land .. it's incredible, but we don't want you to suffer with that type of experience/delay and we have been working very hard to improve these servers. We WILL let you all know when Income Tax is processed so please try not to sit on the website refreshing all day! Additionally, if you are scraping our website for data regularly please if you could cease for a couple of days that would be appreciated!
Our game dev team are also working really long hours to roll out details of Earth 2's next phase and we still have the video to release displaying the Earth 2 terrain system. We are holding off on the release of these until the servers are 100% ready to go! Thomas has been amazing, handling so many issues every day but remember to email issues to
support@earth2.io and we WILL get to them, it may take some days but we will resolve whatever issue you're having. Thanks to Dillon too for helping out with handling customer enquiries and keeping us informed!
Please remember our servers are stressed so if you still want to buy land please be very patient and wait for the callback to complete on the web page, it will, it just might take some time especially when the website is slow. If you have a duplicate payment or didn't receive land from purchasing, please contact us so we can fix that for you, remember the web servers are slow AND there are still hundreds of transactions taking place per minute on those slow servers so patience is key if you'd like to keep using the website throughout this period. We are reluctant to rest the site for a few days because people may panic, so please minimise use on the website where possible.
Well just a short update to reassure everyone we're here and still working hard, I have just worked a 24hr shift and I will have a few more hours work to go. Thank you very much for your patience!

UPDATE: Approx 1 hour ago we made an update that should fix the login and create new account issue for about 95% of the users experiencing that problem - the login / sign up screen should load now. Many people thought they had been locked out of their accounts which was not the case.
If you still experience an issue where you cannot see your account details 'after' logging in, then please contact us via
support@earth2.io with the title "Cannot see my account after login" and we can investigate your account further.
We are still actively working on other issues (even though it's New Years Eve / Day) and will keep you all updated as we make progress.

I’ve spent over 100 hours in this. My biggest issue is that people are posting properties on the market place being represented as “good deals” percentage wise. When in fact they are severely overpricing their property the marketplace does not catch. Once you click to buy it and it finally loads the prices are changed causing in some cases the buyer to get screwed on property. Please fix this and for anyone else buying. Make sure you check local tile prices to ensure you are in fact getting a deal. This happened to me twice and something I constantly have to check before buying property in the marketplace

Okay ... so I tried this ... placed a little money in.
Really FUN to buy "properties", until you run out of money.
So ... I have many "properties".
After several days ... their value increased ... several times!!
BUT .... problem is ... in order to have money back to your game account, somebody needs to buy your property.
AND NO ONE DOES!!
I posted some of my properties to below their market value in the game ... but no other players (or scammed victims) are willing to buy them.
Now ... the BIGGEST ISSUE is ... how to withdraw!!
Let's say you managed to get some poor sap to buy your properties .. how to withdraw your game money so it goes to your bank accounts?
The website needs you to email them all your bank details!! WTF! I'm not confident or stupid enough to do that.
I don't like the idea that I have to rely on "operators" to manually deposit my money to my bank account.
If only they have some crypto-transfer thing ...
