The members are losing money quickly now, one member posted about his $3.00 pending for this week and his monthly membership fee being $19.95. Let me see here,,,, you pay $19.95 to get a return of $3.00 a week. WOW!!

Well, Stros was crowing about them having 343,000 members, but not one word about the weekly percentage paid. Someone also mentioned that the vast majority of members are "free," and he even admitted he had a lot of "free" members in his downline. Not too good of a marketer is he!
Amazing what 3 bad weeks of percentage paid will do to a program. Remember when they couldn't wait to post in 18 point bold font the weekly percentage? Now not a whisper. This is going to be gone by the end of the month at this rate. The paying members are jumping ship, and they are the ones they cannot afford to lose. Stick a fork in this one as LRM and Okosh have said many times before it is done.
Now you're gonna see some fireworks as members start asking Club Asteria to cash in their "Asterios"
CA has been running on empty for months.
It's only lasted this long because it hasn't had to pay out much in actual cash earnings and it's only been creating more and more numbers-on-a-screen "Asterios"
The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing
It is really getting entertaining now. Strosdegoz is advising members to reduce their member level from gold to silver in an attempt to be profitable. The net result here, of course is $10 less collected per member that does that, and the descending spiral steepens! The thought processes, ( or lack thereof) are astounding...! Also, if the 100:1 ratio is approximately correct, that means that CA only has about 3400 paying members. Look out below....!
It seems like in this "industry" common sense is not all that common!
Not that it matters that much, but did they ever announce what this last week's weekly percentage was? Just curious, as I have not seen anyone posting it. My guess was it was going to be around 0.5%, but no higher than the week before of 0.75%. Was wondering how close I came in my guess of 0.5%.
Well, if what I heard was correct, it was even worse than I had thought. I was told it was only 0.2%. This is now beyond help no matter what this coming week's percentage payout is.
Well, now...! Is this abandonment? Or is it a way to stick somebody else with your loss?

So the Italian SEC can get the job done but the American SEC can't??...

Love some Bunny! I do!
I find it curious that Ms Lucas hasn't mentioned the Italian actions. At the very least some kind of statement about," the actions of a few rogue members" would be in order. After all what else are members good for? oh...wait... to keep sending money...!

But it's not like a great deal of investigation needs to be done here....They don't need to trace out who the admin is...They know the true identity of admin and could find her easy enough....
Investigation should take a day or 2 and an arrest made....I just don't get what the problem is here....
Same also for Justin Broker Jones, Miss Vee, Bob Krimm and others...

I would hazard a guess and say it comes down to lack of time, resources, political will and cost/benefit.
The SEC has around 3,500, including office staff, to service a nation with a population of 310 million+ people.
When compared to the increasing number of US based multi million dollar ponzi schemes being reported on, these guys are relatively small potatoes.
Factor in the decrease in budget/s due to resources being redirected to the more politically sensitive "war on terror" and the obvious reluctance by politicians to even admit the HYIP ponzi underground economy even exists, much less actually do something about it AND the demonstrated inability of the US judicial system to impose severe penalties, other than for highly publicized cases, and you have a recipe for the disastrous situation which exists.

Wow...3600 asterios and a measly $1.25...time to leave I think...I made some mistakes in my life, but this beats em all
Now we are getting some real whine action in mmg as well. Still no update from Ca about the Italian action. The longer they wait, the more lame it'll sound.

One of the downsides of being a HYIP watcher is that it is all too easy to become so used to the fraudsters' B/S we can lose sight of the fact there ARE naive, gullible, desperate or unsophisticated people out there who truly DO believe they have found a way to ease their financial burden.
IM(very)HO, we need to accept the fact there ARE completely genuine victims of these things and they are not all low life scammers, unlike those that run and promote them.
For example, here's one poor soul from one of the usual suspect forums who STILL doesn't realize he's lost his money, STILL believes the "Andrea Lucas" character is a real businesswoman who reads her emails and STILL believes his phony Asterios are worth something:
The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing
As if to prove my point, a few hours later, the guy reveals he not only has his family money involved, but he thinks Alertpay is a legitimate payment processor as well:
With the number of scams-within-scams, it's little wonder it takes some of these people months, if not years to work out they're being shafted from every direction.
EVERYONE involved is complicit,
The forums and their moderators, the payment processors, the bloggers, the shills and pimps and the HYIP ponzi owners themselves are ALL part of the one giant conspiracy to rip off the punters and defraud society/the government.
