    Yep, I did,

along with all the posts with a political flavour which followed your initial post.

I did it following complaints from members the thread had deteriorated into a political and off topic slugfest.

I asked nicely for no more political or inflammatory comments, but it seems some members don't understand "nicely"

Oh, gosh, get a load of this. I don't think this little gem has been uploaded before. It's Little Jamie from Holmfirth at the Banners Broker fest in 2012 (Portugal).

SO funny, especially at around 1.30 min when Little Jamie starts to unpack the BB goodie bag.

I do hope someone can preserve this for posterity.

The BB website has closed but not one peep from the FB page. Do you think Chris has finally got round to banning all 400,000 members???!

Nobody asked me directly nicely or not. I stand by what I wrote even though I dont know what it was now. My main point is that HYIP promoters appeal to a moral authority but depending on the cultural lens you use any so called moral authority can be viewed in an entirely different light.

I don't know if anyone has picked this up, but the TalkingBB forum is going to close forever next weekend:-

    Talking bb closure Apr 15.jpg

Please note the part that says backups will be maintainned pending requests from any relevant authorities. Does that mean the receivers / RCMP are going to be investigating the Talking BB forum as well, I wonder?

Hoping TaraTalks reports on Banners Broker Ponzi pimp Ian Driscoll who has now cried victim, AGAIN, with Flexcom. I really hope he is not on the list of creditors and rather, reported to the authorities and the newspaper that ran the BB articles on him. See his letter of lies below:

    See July 10th ruling

Banners Broker International Limited - Spergel

Seems the court gave the liquidator a year to report and they have just extended this by 30 days. So expect some sort of report by August 7

The Certificate of Pending Litigation has been removed by the Court so the Bayview property can now be sold:

Re: Banners Broker HYIP ponzi scam

There's more good news. Over on the MY Advertising Pays Scam Facebook page (thanks to that page) there is this, from the document Harrison has posted above:-

    BB Aug 15.jpg

Looks like the receivers are going to pursue the big pushers both nationally and locally. Many of them have moved on to other schemes, notably My Advertising Pays (other schemes are available). Many have tried to divorce themselves from their past, or tried to claim they didn't know or were hurt just as much as anyone when BB crashed. But with any luck, those excuses won't work this time.

Re: Banners Broker HYIP ponzi scam

So, I'm reading through the Banners Broker receiver, Spergel Corporate Receiver and Joint Liquidators’ motion record in respect of a motion returnable Friday August 7 when I come across this little snippet

And that reminds me of a post I saw on the My Advertising Pays Scam page on Facebook

And, I start to reminisce about the "good old days"

The days of Ron "Wiggy" Anderson and Li'l Jamie Waters,

Ah, yes, those were the days

On reading through the latest court docs it seems it has already been sold ... well a price already agreed to and they have to ask the court to remove the order freezing the asset so they can get the money. Im open to correction but page 41 of the 42 page file "Motion Record of the Receiver & Foreign Representative returnable July 3 2015" seems to say 2.99 million dollars - I assume Canadian???
Now I have for some time stated costs IMHO couldnt go more than a million so ther is another 2 million to add to the 6 million in Isle of man. Ther there is the other pots of money they found - I would have to add them up again. Ball part they seem to have have about maybe 10 million of the sixty million or so that went into the scheme before they even go after other players. that is a significant amount to give back to victims.

It seems the court has extended the list of companies to include The Dixit Consortium ( ill call it DC) and ... I find the soeond one later but it isnt the Dixit Group. Seems raj like to play whack a mole with companies!
Anyway DC was set up 24 sept 2013 but changed name to 8643989 CANADA INC. on 12 June last year and then was dissolved on 25 March this year.
The other one is dreamscape ventures but that was not set up as a corporate in canada . TYhey are mentioned in section 7 page three of Justice Newbold's 7 aug Order. Section 8 seems to break the corporate seal with the exception of lawyer client confidentality and section 9 orders all data held by third parties is not data protected so they cant claim they are required by law not to give this to the receiver.
It also allows the reciever to carry out the business of any of the former Banners Brokers entities collecting and distrubiting monies but not to pay any individual more than 100,000 or not to pay collectively more than half a million.

I would assume this is to settle any debts before the final liquidation. This to me still meand there will be about ten million at least in the pot before it is divided up. and I dont see the liquidators getting even one million. so I still think about nine million or more is going back to victims.

And then ther is the possibility of other courts ordering UK and other funds to be collected from serial scammers.

How can this be? She was in BB for God's sake, and it was this real, legitimate revolutionary advertising company that was making everyone rich! Funny how her involvement in BB did not make the story or was included in the court proceedings. I'm sure if the judge knew she had been in BB, he would have given her a light sentence and would tell her to join MAP and her money problems would be solved. Where's Simon when you need him, or Danny, or Mike Deese, or Tony & Lynne Booth, or Richard Arblaster, or Richard Meade. Surely if they had known her plight they could have saved her.

Hello again from NZ, it's been two years since I first researched BB when a friend asked me to look into it before she invested..... Opps there's that banned word...... That's where I found this fine forum and your BB ponzi fbook page. So HI!! to everyone I spoke with back then. Was stoked to find you all as nothing like your discussion here in NZ, i mean in terms of people looking critically at the legitimacy of BB,our commerce commission weren't too concerned, back then no one had called them. although my friend didn't join many in NZ did, I guess we were all the last to here about BB the'amazing banner company' lol and seems nz people may have been investors just before it crashed. Anyways has anyone in NZ been implicated in official proceedings, does anyone know?

Hiya kiwichick, nice to see you again.

As you can see there's not a lot happening WRT Banners Broker, which is quite normal with these things.

The time between charges being filed and court proceedings beginning can often be up to two plus years.
