Jerrygo, I can't believe how patient you've been with willwork4abrain on MMG - what an imbecile (him, not you).
He is a classic example of why BB is still going.

I wonder how many people have quit their jobs like he did, expecting to live off the proceeds of this scam.

Yes Hyp, I think its desperation. He is holding on to the flimsiest of straws. When it does fall on his head it will be all our fault. Negative bloggers. Nothing to do with Chris or Raj.
I remember the earlier BB ads, "retire in 2 years" . "Want to quit the day job, build an affiliate business, and travel the world". He fell for it.
I hope there are not too many others in the same position.

Is Raj trying to do a Chris Smith? On his linkedin page He seems to have appeared without a history. No mention of ICF, or Kibotec, or banners broken.
The only history given is 1993 to 2012, as president of "Dixit Consulting". Then 2012 as CEO of Stellar point.
Dixit consulting does not show up on the searchable database of Canadian companies.
Wonder why he neglects to mention his real history??

Where he is lately? No word of him at Niagra was there?
Is he hiding in Carlow Ct, or one of the many not-so-Stellar Point spin off company offices somewhere, trying to suddenly be the respectable businessman? Or maybe in India, where the cash is... Along with many angry affiliates, going by their facebook page!

That description is pretty poor for a CEO.
First of all the title should read CEO, it's not Chief. Executive. Officer. Any CEO should know that.
The rest sounds like a job description of a sales rep, not a function of a CEO.

You know, I have no wish to be nasty and gloat over anyone's downfall but............if anyone gave up their job on the strength of the promises made by Banners Broker (or indeed any similar scheme), then I have NO sympathy!

I buy a lottery ticket nearly every week. One ticket, one pound. Now, logically, I know that the chances of my winning the jackpot are miniscule; but a tiny part of me thinks "well, someone's got to win it". That, I suppose, is human nature - the triumph of hope over experience. But what I don't do is punch the boss on the nose and give up my job because I've bought a ticket and I just might win!

There is only one way to achieve success and that is hard work, effort, sheer slog and determination. Even talent isn't enough. People who win medals at the Olympics only do so after years of training, sacrifice and hard work coupled with their sporting talent. There's no way round it - if you want something, you've got to work for it.

So, what makes anyone seriously think that, clicking on a few coloured panels and only doing half an hour's work a day is going to bring them riches enough to give up their day job??

    It's just mindboggling.

OOH! From the Banners Broker Blog..........get the popcorn and choc ices ready........

    BB Tour Niagara Falls
Touching down in Niagara Falls, the BB World Tour turned out to be an epic crowd pleaser.

First on the docket was Grant D’Eall, the Director of International Corporate Training. Grant delivered an inspiring talk on basic training methods that could be employed by affiliates and potential members alike. Grant outlined how these training methods will foster immediate and long-term results. Grant further spoke about methods of advertising that BB members should practice. A highlight to Grant’s material was his talk of staying mentally stimulated and how to keep the brain sharp. The audience was left awe-struck, motivated and eager!

No one was prepared for Saturday’s second speaker, Mr. Mark Ghobral. Mark’s insights included the future of BB and how everyone needs to step it up to achieve collective success. Mark reminded us that we get back what we give.

Mark is visibly a special case: he became a leader in the BB community by his own design. His dedication, knowledge and willingness to help all affiliates makes him so highly sought after. To support and encourage BB members, he actually travels by his own means throughout the globe.

Mark had the crowd ROARING! Unlike most other speakers (if any at all), he spoke at the ground level, genuinely connecting with an equal audience.

Saturday was concluded by a meet-and-greet with none other than a certain Chris Smith. Affiliates always look forward to schmoozing with Mr. Smith, and Saturday was no exception. Smiles abounded as Chris met BB members from across the globe. The BB crowd is endlessly starving to talk with Chris, and this meet-and-greet left the group gratified…for now, that is.

Lorenzo Guarini was the opening speaker on Sunday morning. Lorenzo coined a new phrase that seemed to catch on: “B.H.” or “Brutal Honesty”. This term spread infectiously; it may become the company’s new motto.

Lorenzo’s intense connection with the crowd was palpable. He elaborated on the need for all BB members to give a solid effort. Where he really hit home was in his equal emphasis on the responsibility of the company. Is it any wonder that Lorenzo is loved everywhere he goes?

Chris took to the podium on Sunday as the crowd eagerly awaited his speech; he addressed awareness within the BB community and its history. The audience was impressed to learn about BB’s milestones, and it’s safe to say that we’re all looking forward to more of those. The portion of Chris’s presentation that dealt with the upcoming features slated for the next version of the BB website got the crowd extremely excited.

Sunday afternoon saw a generous outpouring of love, support and mutual respect. The venue was brimming with waves of joyful camaraderie. It may have had a little something to do with the Mercedes Car Giveaway, awarded to one lucky affiliate.

Niagara Falls’ BB World Tour attendees indeed experienced the celebratory moment. Of a lifetime.

Oh, goodness me, talk about purple prose! What a love-fest! I bet they all held hands and sang "We shall overcome" as well. Pass the sick-bag!

There's so much here to poke fun at, but honestly, I think it has gone beyond mocking, through parody and out the other side!

Whatever happened to the not so famous diver Peter Waterfield that was suckered into this? I wonder how his next Olympic bid is progressing.

He probably cannot afford his local pool membership whilst he is still awaiting payouts!

You see, here is the thing, anyone who has been here for any length of time read this and knew you weren't making it up. Like all the 'BB is here to stay for the long term, stay strong, thank you for your patience, we are working on it' etc webinars by Chris Smith, it is clearly, undoubtedly, absolutely, and mainly desperately, spin.

If anyone at this point, is truly waiting for the tide of fortune to turn in their favor with BB, they truly get what they deserve. The scammed, must at this stage, realise they have been scammed.

For this company, who stated on many occasions, that the fundamentals of this company were such that it did not rely on members bringing in new members lied. When the main men at the head of this scam were reeling in the victims on the basis that they didn't need to recruit, they lied. When they spoke of buying and leasing advertising panels and of BB's ad/combo business and of genius's and algorithms, they lied. When the representatives went from hotel to hotel, city to city, promoting BB as an act of kindness they felt duty bound to share, they lied. When they told vulnerable soul's they would put them on easy street, they lied. And here is the kicker, when they told investigating authorities they were not a passive income, not only did they lie, but they blamed you, the ones who believed the lies. They said YOU didn't understand, you miss sold it, you screwed up and only for you, BB wouldn't be in this s$$t!

I am also truly at the point where I feel if you are still believing, good luck. If you bought in within the last 10 months and lost a few bob, whoops, your bad. If this is your first experience of being conned, I hope the lesson wasn't too expensive, if you brought others in, the least you can do now is shout from the rooftops, exactly what you know. It's up to anyone with a conscience to help do the right thing now. If you have any doubts about that rubbish from Niagara, forget about the fear of losing YOUR investment, having your account locked. Break ranks and do the right thing. There is only so much fighting from the outside that I feel we can do

Firstly, Joe Duffy is on holiday from his show at the moment and it's been presented by a temporary presenter. Joe and his researchers had a pretty good handle on the scam at the time. If it was to be re-visited by the show, I think it should be when Joe can do it.

Secondly, his producer Siobhan, has told me that unless members of BB are prepared to go public and give facts, they have a difficulty in further covering the topic. They want verifyible facts and figures. Apart from two ( Jason and Phil who live in the UK ) most members were afraid that by going public their accounts would be locked or that they would be targeted by BB / BB members. I think the exposure on the first JD Show initiated a mass finger crossing by an awful lot of affiliates who in their hearts knew something was amiss with BB but for various reasons kept schtum. FGS, did people really believe that one could retire wealthy in two or three years by simply logging into a screen once or twice a week for a few minutes and that NO IT knowledge was required!

IMO, until a number of BB affiliates uncross those fingers, face the fear that BB loves to perpetrate and go public, this BB scam will whimper along to a very slow death.

    And, not by accident, either.

When long time observers say the only unknown about a HYIP ponzi is whether it is going to go out with a bang or a whimper, they're not just blowing smoke.

All the fraudsters behind Banners Broker have to do is shake off a couple of hundred members a day or a week, and in next to no time, Banners Broker will be nothing but a distant memory

It's all part of the plan.

The whole business model of HYIPs is based on recruiting. Affiliates, unless they recruit, do not contribute to the profitability of a company unless they recruit. In fact, they cost the company money.

If the business model were such that they don't need to recruit new members, why not just build the business that way and forget about affiliates altogether? The HYIP model is based on recruiting of affiliates because that is how they get funded. Without recruitment the owners wouldn't have the funds to launch their scam. Without offering affiliates a high return for doing virtually nothing affiliates wouldn't sign up. The whole business is based on greed, making a high return on an investment for doing virtually nothing.

Ken, I know that, you know that. This is how the individual who tried to lure me into BB sold it to me! I asked the questions and was told no recruiting, no work, just an hour or so a week on a laptop was sufficient. That same person was expecting to retire on a 10k per month pension from BB by the end of this year. Wonder how that's working out for them? lol

BTW, has anyone seen any pics from the Niagara event? Where are the pics showing the crowds of amazing unquestioning affiliates and IC's oh and the bodyguards ;)

It is highly unlikely that some modern historians have not made comprehensive records of a con as big as this. The operators of BB and others of the same ilk along with the scammer's modus operandi are very likely to be the subject of some bright spark's PhD thesis! They all think that they have got away with it but you cab bet that they will be following the fate of Nanci Jo Frazer on August 5th.

    odd comment on that video.

    "Albert Rosebrock 1 month ago
Toledo 11 News is under investigation for using all these video clips they received from a person who has been convicted of security fraud in at least two states and admits that he fed Toledo 11 news the lies about Focus Up Ministries and Nanci Frazer without checking out the validity of their content or telling the public that there source was a convicted criminal. The Securities Exchange Commission in GA has confirmed with the Bryan times that Ms Frazer has never been named in this case."

Re: Banners Broker HYIP ponzi scam

Latest, er, news.........Thanks to tj5566 over at MMG:

    BB Friday Q&A Webinar Notes

    Chris Smith speaking:

I'd like to thank everyone for coming on to the call today. A couple things, first of all we just finished our Niagara tour last weekend. Thanks to all who came to the event. We began on Saturday with two speakers, Grant did a great job. Then Mark Ghobril (sp) spoke. He's a great leader and we were proud to have him. Next we heard from Lorenzo. He really connected with the audience. Saturday night we had a meet and greet and I was able to talk to each group of members from around the world. It was a good group. I wasn't sure what to expect about the atmosphere, but every one of the members were supportive and took time to tell me they are behind BB. Yes BB has had issues, but knowing they were all supportive, it made Sunday's presentation much better.

I went over the milestones and history of BB, then went into the upcoming changes for BB. One temporary change is that we will be doing a temporary $1,000/month withdrawal limit. We will be changing the order to make sure all who have withdrawals and have never been paid will be first.

We will be stopping the panel and package transfer. I understand that many have used this for good reasons, but many have used it for not so good reasons. The initial intention was so that you could transfer a package to a new member to get started fast. But now we have the Fast Start Program, where new members can begin and have 30 days to pay, and this is working very well. So this will replace the package/panel transfer in the future.

The new look and feel for BB was also discussed. BannersBroker Version 3.0 (Chris then went through some screen shots showing the new version coming soon)

(I will not transcribe this, as you need to watch the replay to understand what he's showing on the screen)

(*) - (My Opinion the new BB 3.0 is very impressive - I like it a lot! - everyone needs to watch the replay)

Sneak Peek of Version 3.0 - keep it to yourselves for now.

Create My Banners software is LIVE! A new site to create banners. Go ahead and start your subscriptiosn for this site. It's $25/year or $3/month. This makes it simple and easy to create your own banners. I urge you to start using this site!
(Chris showed screenshots of the site and explained it)
This site is available to anyone on the Internet, it is not specific to BB. (very nice site)

VivoStock - a new website you can populate with photos from around the world. Then anyone in the world can download these photos and you get paid for these sales. Online solution for quality stock photos. Contributors will earn money on sales, and there is also a 10% lifetime commission - Affiliate referral program.

Promo 121 - we talked about this next. Yellow pages meets social network. Here you can promote yourself, promote your products, or promote your BB business.
(Chris showed screenshots and an overview)
You will earn 50% of the generated revenue from this site.
Promo 121 is coming back very soon!

List 121 - This one is where you actually can sell your own products. An online ecommerce website. Revenue share - 40% to seller - 40% to affiliate - 20% to company. So you could make from 40% to 80% of the proceeds. (my opinion: a Really Cool site, great idea!)

A lot of great comments are begin typed into chat! Everyone seems to like Create My Banners site. Guys now you can be part of the solution.

We know that we have a slow payout problem. We have some payouts going out now and over the next little while STP and Payza. With the new banking solutions you will have other ways for getting paid.

Thanks for still being here! Thanks for your Support! A lot of changes coming down the pipe, but we are looking forward to it. The future is bright, it truly is! We have alot of opportunity with different ad brokers.

Announcement - this week, right after the convention we were contacted by another ad broker, and we just signed the deal this week, so their ads are now being shown on our sites. People understand the power of traffic, in spite of all the negative press out there.. we still have a new ad broker!! This is great news!

We are on the right track for the ad side of things. We've learned alot over the years, and we are sharpening our efforts to increase our ad revenue to bring us into verion 3.0.

Guys, we are here to stay. BB is not going anywhere. We are getting stronger every day and have a great team! We have a great future ahead!

    Have a fantastic weekend.

The future is bright! New broker coming on board! Keep the faith! New sites available where you can sell stuff to each other!
