They know only too well that going out with a "whimper", rather than a very public "bang" a' la Zeek Rewards and AdSurf Daily, there is a far greater likelihood of retaining a larger number of members in the HYIP arena and far less chance of victims seeking redress via credit card companies and/or reporting to the authorities.

Ditto, with Manchester. I'm sure somebody here said they lived close by? We need more nails for BB's coffin

I drove by 5 Carlow Court just after they bought the building and there certainly weren't 100 vehicles in the parking lot. Mind you there is public transportation that some staff may take. I will go by again and see what the situation is like now and take some pictures, but not at 11:00 PM. If I am still out at that time I will have had too many pints to drive anywhere.

Due to Stellar being the world-wide support centre I can see where they have a couple staff to answer calls from the various time zones. Hey, at $7.00 a call they can afford to pay them $10.25/hr (minimum wage). I do know some people that work there and when next I see one of them will try and find out how many are still there.

Re: Banners Broker HYIP ponzi scam

    From the SEC:

Washington, D.C., June 17, 2013 — The Securities and Exchange Commission today charged two executives at a Dallas-based medical insurance company with operating a $10 million Ponzi scheme that victimized at least 80 investors.

The SEC alleges that Duncan MacDonald and Gloria Solomon solicited investments for Global Corporate Alliance (GCA) by promoting it as a proven business with a strong track record of generating revenue from the sale of limited-benefit medical insurance. In reality, GCA was merely a start-up company with no operating history and virtually no revenue. As they raised investor funds, MacDonald and Solomon used proceeds from new investors to pay returns to existing investors. Once they couldn’t find any new investors, MacDonald and Solomon used a stall campaign of purported excuses to delay making any further payments to investors.

“MacDonald and Solomon raised millions of dollars by lying to investors about their company’s business and history and their planned use of investor funds,” said David Woodcock, Director of the SEC’s Fort Worth Regional Office. “When they could no longer fuel their Ponzi scheme with money from new victims, they told more lies in a failed effort to prevent their scheme from unraveling sooner.”

David Peavler, Associate Director of the SEC’s Fort Worth Regional Office, added, “MacDonald and Solomon created fake monthly statements to falsely portray GCA as a thriving health insurance company successfully enrolling thousands of premium-paying policyholders each month. In reality, they never had more than 40 policyholders, and half of those were GCA’s own employees.”

    :
    Well done to the SEC.
Lets hope we see the same successful outcome from the OSC's investigation into the BB stellar point scam. With Raj and Chris in the dock. They have victimised a lot more than 80 investors.

An interesting issue. Given you have no access to any modern technology ( say you have only what they had in 1600) how could you prove it isn't?

I don't like to compare this to religious or political fundamentalism since the "flat Earth" element of society are actually a rather recent ( nineteenth century) group.

The thing is though there are parallels. Many people who were duped by a fake religion try to ignore the evidence or move on to another fake religion. Similarly people move on to being duped by other fraudsters or maybe because of embarrassment fail to admit they were duped. Although where BB is concerned i dont believe that most were involved to "help others". They used this to appease their conscience. Their main motivation was greed.

Link the Universe, the World is finite but unbounded.

A lot of Northern Hemisphere people are not aware that the Moon and the constellations of stars are indeed "upside down" in Australia. :)
It is an interesting exercise to give to primary school children to ask them to draw their conception of the Earth with Weather and explain how the "bottom bit" gets rainfall or snow.
    [/OFF TOPIC]

As a obligatory ~ to draw it back on topic ~ it is interesting to note that BB affiliates seem to prefer to remain in childlike ignorance ( or even seek to reenforce their misconceptions) than accept the measurable facts.

This is where it gets hard to distinguish the genuine "true believers" from the professional pimps

Those new to the HYIP ponzi "scene" find it almost possible to believe that so many of those names with which they have become familiar over the life of Banners Broker are, in fact, nothing more than paid pimps and shills and virtually every single word they have uttered has been a deliberate lie.

The ONLY way to remain reasonably safe in the HYIP ponzi world is to believe NOTHING is true

    BB Q&A Webinar

    Chris Smith speaking:

Thanks for joining us today. First the updates.

BB's 3-year anniversary coming up in October with the Tesla Promo Panel contest. We are happy to still be here after 3 years. We are currently experienced payout challenges. We have lost partners and forged new partners.

Trust me, I hope you are with me in terms of sticking with the plan. I know it is tough at times. It may be extremely frustrated to not be paid on time. I get all the messages, Skype, email and text. I hear it from everyone close to me. But we are here. We are still doing our information sessions. We have ramped up our IT division. We have many more admin tools to help with support. The experience of the website has been greatly improved. So with regards to the application itself, we have made great strides. We have passed all the website problems and slowdowns and are working towards the next version of BB, with some important new features.

You will now be able to be much more active with BB. We are moving away from BB being a passive income. We are not an investment program. Our model has proven to work and we are looking to improve it even further. We have now ramped up our support for improving article submissions. We want to be sure to do multiple languages and satisfy as many countries as possible. A lot of great things coming to BB. We're spent alot of time and effort to improve our program to make sure that if any agencies or compliance authorities were looking at us, it would not appear that we are something its not.

Next Payday - we were hoping to get Payza out last weekend. we cannot send it out if it's not accurate. I am very confident that if it's not today, then it will this weekend. I will make it a point to see that it goes out. STP will be shortly after that. We want to keep people satisfied. We are going in a point system order, predominantly by date, so everyone will not get a payment. However, everyone will get paid so please be patient.

Tesla Panel Contest has been very successful. The purchaser and the seller gets the entries (member and the inviter) Green Panel and yellow panel to fit everyone's budget. The reason we have chosen this car is that it is unique. Electric car, monitor in the center console, a very cool car. In addition we are giving aways many other prizes. Drawing in October. You do not have to be in a location of teh world tour to win the prize. But we will announce the winner at one of our events coming up.

    Q&A:

Movement of panels? There was a large jump which was corrected. We released a new "engine". Because we have millions of panels there were a couple of tweaks we had to make. There is a message on your screen notifying you of that. It is now 98% smoothed out, and easier to monitor in the LIVE environment.
I see some bad comments in the scroll and some good comments.

The cost of the yellow promo panel is $40, but it will still show up as normal at $20 value.

India payment system is completely different. The BB there is totally separate. The activities there are different. So the payouts are different also.

Looks like we've covered most of these questions. Let's end the session here. I wish you all a great weekend. Keep supporting BB. You will not regret it. Thank you for staying with us during these tough times. The team is still here and stronger than ever. We are adding to our team to bring us into the next era of BB.

    Talk to you soon.
    (end of webinar)
(summary notes prepared by Linda Lane, and are not official BB transcripts)

NOT TOO BRIGHT THIS ONE..TAKEN FROMM BB F/B PAGE..Louise Rakowski So the spike in panels has been fixed .... now there has been no movement (or smaller than there should be) and definitely no panel capping ...... is this going to be a routine thing where our admin and tp costs continue to come out but our accounts are going nowhere because there is no capping. I want to purchase the boosted green panel but cant ...... any updates BB please??????

99 days since Mark Stokes tweeted about Banners Broker.
    Strange that isn't it?
After all he did seem awfully keen on it.

If Simon Stepsys or Mark Ghobril are involved it's 100% a SCAM!
