Of course I know the answer to this, but an BB affiliates on the call may want to ask for themselves.
The problem with that is the scammer doesn't get any money from new suckers, way back when PIPS was running, they had their own payment processor, PICPAY, and the ref whores figured out that they could accept cash, real money and just transfer the imaginary PICPAY amount (which was by then darn near impossible to cash out of) and pocket the new suckers membership fees. This was not fine with Bryan Marsden, but there was nothing he could do about it. In the end, there were millions of dollars on the books at PIPS that they never received, it was stolen from them by their own members. Darn near ruined the town of Kells in Ireland and Kastach-something in Alaska....

I saw some other HYIP players selling entire HYIP accounts at discount: login/password (+email accounts, +processor accounts if those could not be changed in the HYIP)
If the loss is great some do consider sell all they have linked to account, i saw people in russian MMM-2011 ponzi even selling SIM cards together with accounts cause phone number was hard-linked to the account.

Hey all! Long time lurker, first time poster. I joined in the anti-BB crusade when someone on Pinterest added me as a contact, and noticed she was a "self-made online entrepreneur" and was advertising BB as her website.
Anyway, Ponzis happen all the time, can't believe this one has gone on as long as it has...
Has anyone heard of the TV show "Leverage" by the way? It's quite relevant to this situation with BB :D

Re: Banners Broker HYIP ponzi scam
Just found this on the FB network page. Wondered how long this would take to surface:
Message from Mr Coleman Ohagan! This might explain that BB wasnt the only online company effected by the recent attacks
Global internet slowdown triggered by largest reported DDoS attack
What started as a dispute between spam blockers and a hosting service has resulted in the largest ever distributed denial-of-service (DDos) attack reported, which could have serious repercussions for internet traffic worldwide.
The attacks began on 19 March following the blacklisting of Dutch web hosting firm Cyberbunker by volunteer-based spam fighters Spamhaus.
A number of organisations – Google included – volunteer themselves to mirror Spamhaus’s infrastructure in order to strengthen it against cyber attacks, which are all too common when you’re dealing with disgruntled spammers.
These attacks flood servers with false traffic, effectively clogging up access so legitimate users fail to reach a website. The attackers are using the DNS to amplify their attack, too, so much so that it has reached proportions heretofore unknown in an attack of this type.
Hope this helps guys as BB mentioned the problem was with their host provider so that why its taking extra time plus having to take the decision to change host providers and migrate over to the new companies servers etc
PS, Site is live now but as mentioned they are still updating things in the back ground
[8:42:18 PM] Coleman O Hagan:...
Great timing or what?

Re: Banners Broker HYIP ponzi scam
Meanwhile, on the BB FB page.....
I vote a subscription fee refund for the month of march, as the site has only been up for 2 weeks marginally this whole month. While it was up, the use and functionality of the site was subpar as well. No point in hosting to a server and allowing viewing if all your websites pages are going to say under maintenance. Speed it up BB. I know Ajax, Java, and HTML are not that hard to work with. I use them all..

Martin M Kinyanjui Just be patient as they finalise upgrading the system, this is the response I got from support yesterday:
Hello Martin,
Thank you for submitting a support ticket.
Please be advised that due to the system upgrading to V2.9 it may have caused some glitches such as less activity in panels , but please be aware that the activity of the panels is running smoothly at the back even if you may not be able to see the progress live, it will all appear normally in a couple of days.
We apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused and thank you for your patience.
Regards,
BB Team

I don't think the first speaker (who is from New York, by the way, didn't think they operated in the USA) is going to get his refund do you?
And the site still has "glitches" after all this work! Telling people to be patient over and over again! Really, their IT folks need a boot up the backside, not getting the site going properly when all the good affiliates are waiting to launch campaigns/blog/ and get paid. You'd almost think that the top people at BB wanted this to happen....oh..er.....hang on.....

Found that this morning.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Se5Fhy0rgXE:
The panels are updated manually.Just trying to do some maths on that...ups, to many zeros
But at least now I understand why they have not paid us. They first have to update millions of panels what they will do that once they get around to it.
Good to know this, now I can relax.

AshKen, do you think that this person does indeed know 56 people who have given up their day jobs to do BB? I am asking this in all seriousness, because it really is very worrying if so. What are they going to do when this thing goes t*ts up? Surely people aren't daft enough to jack in their jobs, their paid, salaried jobs, poissibly even with pension scheme and benefits, just for something like this?
Can you imagine the scene down the Job Centre/Benefits office/local Council:-
(Cue tinkly music)
A.N. Affiliate: "I'd like to sign on and see what benefits I can claim, please."
Benefits clerk; "Right, are you not working at the moment then?"
A.N. Affiliate; "Well, no. "
Benefits clerk: "Ok, so what was your last job then? So we can see where your skills lie."
A.N. Affiliate: "I was an online entrepreneur with Banners Broker."
Benefits clerk: "Sorry, what's that? An online what? With who?"
A.N. Affiliate: "Banners Broker. An online advertising agency. Oh, hang on, no, that was a few months ago. Actually, an advertising broker. Or was it a direct sales company? I forget. Anyway, I created my own advertising campaigns on the internet and made money that way."
Benefits clerk "Sounds a bit rum to me. What did you actually do?"
A.N. Affiliate: "I qualified my coloured panels with organic and non organic traffic and rolled them up!"
Benefits clerk (sighing) "So you clicked on coloured squares on your computer screen?"
A.N. Affiliate: "Er....yes....but it was really difficult...."
Benefits clerk: "So, Mr Affiliate, did you have a real job before that......?"
A.N. Affiliate: "Yes, I was production supervisor at a large manufacturing company, worked there 20 years, had my own office and a company car."
Benefits clerk: "Well, our problem is, we may have to decide you are not eligible for anything because you made yourself unemployed, you weren't made redundant or anything like that, so I will have to check out how we can helkp you, if we can."
A.N. Affiliate: "But Banners Broker was such a good opportunity...Ok so I lost £20,000, gave up a good job and now the wife has gone to stay with her sister because she says I'm an idiot, but honestly, all I did was keep the faith....""

Isn't it heartening to see that Mr Dixit can take time out from his busy schedule in Cyprus, where he is currently doing his upmost to steal every last penny he can from people at their very lowest, to abuse his in-laws?

Yes, all schmoozing the restless affiliates down....hilarious........and yet encouraging them to "do something pro-active, talk to people, or write articles". In other wrods, get more people in!
But, I note, there seems to be this understanding that all the "glitches" won't be fixed until after Easter.....

Loved the old reference to a forex trader. The previous version i heard was that it was a top banker who spent 72 hours looking through the books of BB and decided it was a great INVESTMENT. Not a trade then? Also being told by someone you don't know that someone else you don't know who has 20 years experience in an unrelated business has decided it is good isn' t the best due diligence. Even if it wasn't so obvious a lie.

I love it, David Tree says its OK whoever the hell he is, I think he mentored Richard Branson. Then a video link and the first face you see is Mark Stokes, the scumbag con artist that banned 10 of my Gmail accounts from posting questions to his channel.

David Tree? That'll be this chap (Referred to by Mark "Twice Ya Stupidity" Stokes as "David Wood" )

The pic of Del Trotter on the mantle behind him should give a clue to his business ethics, as should his boast (in a BB video linked to elsewhere in this thread) about BBI moving its registered offices from tax haven to tax haven, in order to stay one step ahead of the authorities.
