Could any of these 'spare' IP addresses be required for any of the other websites they claim to work FOR under the SP guise like that bazunga (sp) and Dr Dre headphone site?

I might ring up my local car insurance provider and ask if i can get some cover for panel movement..i might be able to ask if I can claim when the server crashed or loss of earnings...now this could get interesting.
You just gave me an idea. I think I just might start up such an insurance company. I'll call it "Scam Insurance Inc.". For a minimum of $50/m I'll insure any member of a "get-rich-quick business" a return of their initial investment if lost due to a list of items such as servers being down more than 5 times a day, owners not knowing they are running a Ponzi scheme, failure to recruit more than ten people, etc. Then I will recruit people to recruit people to recruit people to sell these policies. There must be a million MLMers out there willing to send me a mere $50/ month to know they won't lose their investment in scam companies such as BB.

That's funny, the address used 1019 Neslon St., Unit 8 looks like the old address of Stellar Point, above a car wreckers shop. Google the address and you can see the shop.

No, the genius part is when you deny the claims for months because "there is no empirical evidence this is a scam" and when law enforcement finally closes one then you finally dismiss the claim because "we cannot insure your participation in illegal activities".

Quick, someone get Len Clements or Phil Piccolo on the line!

    Interesting, I found this page:

    Stteps - Technology, Trends, Teamwork

Note near the bottom "Presented by Stellarpoint and Donriver". So not only did Chris work there but it looks like DonRiver is partnered now with Stellarpoint at least on part of the scam activities.
Not only did "Chris Smith" work there, he was still writing a blog for them some 6 or 7 months after he started BB and well past the point where the latter was claimed to be a paying out millions every week in commission.

You'd think someone running a business that was paying out "$1 million a day" wouldn't need a second job, wouldn't you.....

He struck me more as someone who was going to turn up at work one day to find it all locked up and empty, rather than an SP scammer in the mould of Hood, Stern or Dixit.

Well, I never even gave a thought as to actually paying someones claim "on time". By the time the people I hired to recruit people to recruit people to recruit people to investigate their claims and come back with their results I will have retired already "living the life" in my villa in a scamster friendly country.

That's the whole problem with being associated with a HYIP ponzi fraud.

Innocent people DO get caught up in the fraud and, by advertising their association without performing sufficient due diligence, can forever ruin their own reputation.

It's called having a "duty of care" both to themselves and to those they influence.

I know in the UK that most people even if they did their DD and found they were working for a scam as long as they were getting their pay cheque and able to provide for their family, they wouldn't care.

For what it's worth, I was able to log in today. However there has been ZERO movement in panels and, of course, no word on payouts.

It seems BB is just buying time at this point.

Isn't there a conference call with Chris on Friday? Would like to hear what he has to say, lot of folks seem to be banking on it.

The sad thing is, if there were to be a Friday conference call, the faithful would take it as a sign Banners Broker is back and is healthy and start sending more money.

Reading around the usual suspect HYIP ponzi forums there are many posts by members pointing out Banners Broker has been offline before and always returned.

IOW, they've been primed to expect this from way back.

I think you are right LRM, one thing would be nice if someone could ask is if Chris will allow affiliates to be bought out by other affiliates. Someone had pointed out on line there are still plenty of cheerleaders and plenty of folks who want out. There would be no business reason that panels could not be sold between members. And this would certainly stop all the problems that BB is having paying people. This would allow the cheerleaders to put their money where their mouth is.

Of course I know the answer to this, but an BB affiliates on the call may want to ask for themselves.

if you look at the dates on Motion Graphics T.O, it would seem that he is still working, probably self employed, at that business. You'd have to give the benefit of the doubt, can imagine he was sold a pup at the interview! If he stays there past the end of the month, I think we have our answer.

Um, terminology is slightly wrong - but there is some fact to this.

What fact? that all BB affiliates are infected as DDOS nodes against BB, what are the odds on that ?
I can only see it possible if BB gave them all some piece of software to install and attack the mothership :)

No, the fact that 'zombies' is correct terminology.
The likelihood of all BB affiliates attacking BB is next to nothing.
