The disappearing act is beginning to occur in my opinion.

Yes well.... Imagine if it were an online auction site...
You're just about to make your last minute bid and .... the server goes splat. For several hours on one day. It finally comes back up... you make your bid... and the server goes splat again.... then comes back up... then goes offline... and you still haven't made your bid. Finally you get your item and go to pay. But the online auction site switches how you can pay... several times... and then pulls the card you can use...or it gets pulled.
Oh my doesn't that change how things look *innocent face*

Re: Banners Broker HYIP ponzi scam
Hey, our old chum Mr Bruce Lamb is at it again! Not only does he call people here "the kids at Real Scam " (ooh, flattery) he is still peddling his wares!
An extract from his dear little site:-
Without a great deal of effort so far this month the payouts achieved have been significant when compared to a contract or a salaried position. Were now on the 18th March and i can take out the following amounts $9587 Boxndice- $4958 Bruce - $1026 Lamb Enterprises.
In total just over $15000 which equates to Ł10k or there about's.
Given my total purchase or contribution was now Ł11,500 in total Ł10k per month thereafter is excellent having started in May 2012. I now have in excess of 1700 yellows and this is your cash flow.
The change in "business rules" so that people actually start using the full package in some areas hasn't gone down too well but a business owner looking to advertise his business or brand and create positive cash flow needs this display advertising component.
Hence we've brought into the mix a social media company to create the packages and plug ins to make each bb business owner working with us successful using this system.
On Saturday 16th March a cross section of the team got together with myself , Duncan and the social media company to start identifying what people needed to know and how to train the components through seminars and workshops.
The categories we will teach include beginners, intermediate and advanced, then how to Ramp, Crank and Bank.
Id love to say i thought of the ramp crank and bank but this was a phrase coined by an internet savvy millionaire called "Ayman" a few years back who ran a 3 month online course from Canada called:
The Arbitrage Conspiracy. This i attended and learned a number of techniques for accessing the revenues you are witnessing with bb although this was in the search and Cost Per Acquisition - CPA environment not display advertising as experienced in bb.
The Arbitrage Conspiracy taught a systems approach to cracking the "Google Code" this was split into modules and delivered through online webinars.
And another entry:
bb has recently had a period of turbulance but the business model is strong. Over the last few days i was absolutely inundated with calls from affiliates i knew, affiliates i didn't know until the call and people wanting to sign up, even given what they had heard about the business both good/ bad/ indifferent based upon who they had spoken to.
There is more if anyone wants to read up on it. Banner Alchemy: March 2013
Note to Bruce: Please do watch your spelling/grammar/punctuation/capitalisation. It looks a bit shabby otherwise IMHO. Nice picture of a rabbit though Bruce.

You've obviously never seen Back to the Future. A work of fiction that some extremely gullible people took to be something that could really happen, Banners Broker stole idea for the "flux capacitor" from the film starring Michael J. Fox.....

Thanking you in advance, Della.
Google Analytics is a small piece of HTML code that Google supplies you to add to your website page/s. You can't see it, but many websites use it for monitoring traffic to their site - what pages are visited, what browser is used to get there, from what country, how long you stayed, and other interesting stuff for marketers to peruse. Here is a random sample image of a GA dashboard.
When you sign up for Analytics, you are given a unique number. You can place the code on a number of websites, but all the stats will come back to that one dashboard.
So the significance to me is, why is such a wide variety of scammers from all parts of the globe, using this same Google Analytics number? It is not the sort of thing you would share with others.
Now there could be all manner of reasons why these sites came up in the GA search - it could even be something as simple as a standard form (web page) that has been plagiarised from site to site and the GA code unwittingly copied as well, but in no case did I come across a domain name that DIDN'T have the ring of a scam to it. And looking at the domain name owners, many appear here on RS (not necessarily just in the BB thread either).
I'm not one for conspiracy theories, but it leads me to believe that there is a central link for all these sites / people. What is that central link though!
Would love to know who the GA account is registered to, but I don't believe there is a way of finding that out without a court order.
Whoever it is, has been accumulating stats on all the sites that were listed.
I hope that explains it, and why it was of interest.
If you're unable to download the Excel file for whatever reason, drop me a PM. I can't attach it here as it is larger than the 100kb attachment limit here on RS.
Edit: A sample piece of the code Google supplies. You don't need to understand it, this is all you need to add to your webpage for it to work -
<script type="text/javascript">
var _gaq = _gaq || [];
_gaq.push(['_setAccount', 'UA-12345-1']);
_gaq.push(['_trackPageview']);
_gaq.push(['_setCustomVar', 1, 'Member', 'yes', 2]);
(function() {
var ga = document.createElement('script');
ga.type = 'text/javascript'; ga.async = true;
ga.src = ('https:' == document.location.protocol ? 'https://ssl' : 'http://www') + '.google-analytics.com/ga.js';
(document.getElementsByTagName('head')[0] || document.getElementsByTagName('body')[0]).appendChild(ga);
})();
</script>
