Are Vector a legitimate company themselves?
That's a question I'd like answered.

Re: Banners Broker HYIP ponzi scam
A member has submitted this Skype conversation to myself so I can post it:
Code:
skype conversation.......... [16:05:04] Robin James Murray: just spoken to exec line - no probs with BBI - MASTERCARD Have apparently pulled the plug. Nothing to do with VECTOR either
[16:06:14] Clifford Illis, GM Caribbean Region: Thanks very much, try and keep this situation in check please
[16:06:34] Dario Nelson: Yes there was a MasterCard complaint reported
[16:07:26] samlloyd3: Why would they pull the plug?
[16:10:13] James Clark Bristol: What a load of bunkum
[16:11:12] James Clark Bristol: everyone has to get bank verified on stp now
[16:12:20] Dario Nelson: Clifford we are all in check
[16:12:36] Dario Nelson: Check mate in a sense
[16:13:26] Dario Nelson: Clifford / who is the slowest online payer in the west? Can I help?
[16:15:01] Clifford Illis, GM Caribbean Region: No we are not in checkmate. Please be aware that our business is not traditional. There are a lot of people that to not understand what we do but they know we are making a lot of money. Then look at the volume of money moving through Master Card to pay out to affiliates in 170 countries. Don't you think that this would create challenges for Master Card also. So as I said let us not speculate, just wait until we have more information and then we know how we will proceed. One thing I can promise you I have full confidence in my management team that they will come up with a solution.
[16:16:04] Dario Nelson: Yada yada yada !!!!!!!
[16:16:07] mike_jakubowski: I am pretty sure Mastercard can handle the extra work load from BB.
[16:16:39] James Clark Bristol: YES SO AMI
[16:17:15] James Clark Bristol: so am I as well like we pay them the most
[16:17:55] Dario Nelson: Oh island in the sun Clifford - sing us a tune man! Much better than listen without tune. Sing we help
[16:18:42] Clifford Illis, GM Caribbean Region: Gentlemen, again please refrain from speculating. We are not a small company with over 380 000 afiliates more than 50
[16:19:06] James Clark Bristol: Clifford we are allowed our opinions
[16:19:08] Clifford Illis, GM Caribbean Region: 50% with paid accounts that is not a small account
[16:19:13] Clifford Illis, GM Caribbean Region: by any standards
[16:19:39] sharon james: agree Clifford stp and payza are back on
Clifford Illis, GM Caribbean Region

Urgent Notice
March 13, 2013
Dear Banners Broker Prepaid MasterCard Cardholders:
As of today March 13th, 2013, the Banner Brokers Prepaid Card program has ceased to operate. Vector Card Services Limited is contacting cardholders regarding the winding down of the card program.
As of the date of issuance of this email, there will be no further authorization of loads to cardholder accounts and cardholders will have a limited time period to withdraw all funds from the card. As a cardholder you have until Friday March 22nd, 2013 to withdraw all funds from the card.
At the end of this period all remaining funds on the card will be returned to you the cardholder upon completion of the appropriate paperwork and receipt of a copy of your passport.
Our strong recommendation is to withdraw all funds from the card. This is the simplest option to draw down all remaining funds from your Prepaid Card. More information will be communicated to you. A second notice will be sent to you with a link to a full FAQ to address your questions. Please contact your Banners Broker representative for more information.

It doesn't matter how many times it's pointed out that HYIPs simply cannot get away with using legitimate bank accounts or debit/credit cards, HYIP ponzi players always act surprised when this sort of thing happens.

Re: Banners Broker HYIP ponzi scam
I see 142 guests in here, many I suspect are BB affiliates who have just heard the mastercard bombshell, if any of the guests would like to log in and share their thoughts and experiences with us and maybe provide more information then please do so.
to join this forum you do not have to use a real name, if you are concerned about keeping your anonymity then make up a new hotmail or gmail account and use that to sign in here. it would be good to hear the views and thoughts of people who are still in BB and waiting for a pay out.

Can anyone tell me why Vector needs a copy of your passport as per the note on screen?
At the end of this period all remaining funds on the card will be returned to you the cardholder upon completion of the appropriate paperwork and receipt of a copy of your passport.
Am wondering if this is another attempt to harvest information.

from David Hooker
First of all there is nothing to be alarmed about, MC was only one of the ways in which affiliates can be paid - it is not the only way.
As you are well aware there have been many unwarranted negative blogs traversing the internet caused mainly by affiliates with a grudge. Most of those blogging sites are generally "cut and paste" and have no depth or value. However, that being said, and regardless how inaccurate these blogs are read by the authorities as well as banks.
It is also well worth noting that certain credit card companies are not comfortable with direct sales companies.
We are of course looking at alternative methods and yes once again we are experiencing challenges which we are all well equipped to overcome.

Re: Banners Broker HYIP ponzi scam
From neodigital on MMG
What about all the people with payments over 2 weeks over due that will now have to cancel, wait, and hope they will get paid?
This is supposed to be a business and I for one need my business to PAY ME, in order to live.
What am I and 100'000s of other affiliates supposed to do while we wait another 6 weeks for what you owe?
Some of us need to eat.
STP and PAYZA payments are already massivly overdue aswell, adding to the withdrawel numbers will compound the problem further.
Considering you had removed the option to create payments to the BBcard over a week ago and provided to explaination except "vector card services is undermaintainance" which turned out to be a complete lie.
I have contacted vector services who informed this is was 100% untrue and is a was a greavus breach of you contract with them. (lieing to affiliates and blaming vector for BB's problems)
Care to explain and offer a solution to those of us feeling (again) rather screwed over?
Interesting point.... maybe Vector have pulled the BB card because of this?

Re: Banners Broker HYIP ponzi scam
I have just got off the phone with David Hooker who was obviously concerned enough about the issues I have been voicing to phone me personally. I now have his work email address and a recording of most of the call with him which lasted around 20 minutes. It's a 20MB recording even in MP3 format and it's quite interesting.
He has offered me the opportunity to put my refund request in email to him and I have done this and am now awaiting his response.
I would prefer they just offer me a refund and that will be the end of it but I suspect not.
I will let you all know how this goes for me.

Re: Banners Broker HYIP ponzi scam
Phonecall with David Hooker (20 mins). I've got nothing to hide so no issues with making the call public. David has given me his work email address and I have sent him my refund request and the reasons for doing so. From there I will obviously contact my bank if there's no joy.
The call is quite illuminating, well worth a listen. Apologies for my very loud voice, the call was recorded with the handset on speakerphone and into a vocal microphone so my voice is very loud and his very quiet.
