2. I did not personally attack anyone at any stage. I pointed out that if one claims things like " there is no such thing as wrong and right ..it all depends on the personal point of view" then one can justify anything at all! ANYTHING. Whether that is Banners Broker is a fair business or the Holocaust never happened. that is NOT off topic. It is how one can move from the general argument to a particular example but how one can not make a particular point and generalise it as if it were true in all cases.
3. I am not a "newb". If you look under my name you will NOT see "junior member".
If you look at how may "likes" I have had you might well see that your perception that I am a "noob" is incorrect.
How much of this thread have you actually read? When you refer to scams in "Cork" to whom/what do you specifically refer and when did it occur?
Im not engaging on the politics and semantics that you are keen to make a feature of your involvement in this thread but i will answer your questions.
I have read all of the thread. It is concise and informative and a credit to the participants.
The scams that i refer to are the 'Speedball' pyramid schemes which were active 2/3 (iirc) years back. They originated in Munich and were introduced to Cork via people in West Cork and i know a lot of the involved including one of the main players. The scheme was brought to Cork City by another that i know (a streetwise/scummer city girl based in West Cork) and it then went national for a while. I spent a lot of time trying to explain the basic maths behind these schemes to people in West Cork on my trips there (i have close connections and spend much time there) and it was akin to trying to explain the theory of relativity to a mallard. The fallout was huge when the s**t hit the fan and this included a farmer having his cows shot (he also being a butcher was a key recruiter) and a guy having his house broken into on his holidays where it is believed he was relieved of 100k+ of his ill gotten gain that were secreted in the attic (#karmakicktothenetherregion).
To think that some others would introduce this scheme so soon after the last fallout... Some business people in Skibbereen (West Cork town for those not au fait) are very active in that area. To be involved in the first wave could have been spun as being ignorant. To be involved now is pernicious.

How about pointing them to this in the Indian dashboard:
"Here are the instructions if you request a withdrawal:
Their payment is ready for pick up at any nearest branch of receiving banks or agents. Client should know that it is coming from Banners Brokers.
When claiming mention, "Wall street" and "Sender name" if bank ask what's the type of transaction, the answer is "Personal transaction".
Ask client to bring 2 valid ID's. And be ready with the necessary information needed for them to claim their pay. Such as; transaction code or reference number and receiving amount."
Given that BB India's accounts are currently frozen, I'm sure the prosecutor would take particular interest in these instructions!

Oh the irony of it! Your regular Joe Soap, sending in support tickets like there is no tomorrow , can't get a bob out of them.
Then you've got BB India, concocting clandestine methods of nods winks and funny handshakes for the Indian affiliates to get their money.
No doubt, when the payments don't happen it will be the affiliates fault for doing the wink before the nod or whatever
Martin, your point is not lost on me though, perhaps someone might inform the authorities , Beacon, you seem to have a good understanding and a lot of the contact details?

Re: Banners Broker HYIP ponzi scam
The applicant shall deposit an amount of Rupees Two Lakhs in
this Court as security for her return to Goa.
That's not even £2500, I'd say that's a pretty cheap escape. Of course India now have an extradition treaty in place with Portugal (and have had for 5 or so years), perhaps BB's team of high priced lawyers didn't apprise Ms Onofre of that fact....

Re: Banners Broker HYIP ponzi scam
So, let me get this straight....
BB in India has its accounts frozen.
Their Ic spent time in the slammer but is now out on bail.
They can access their office when the said IC returns to Goa.
They cannot access their papers, computers etc in the offices even when they get into them, because they are still under lock and key.
The accusation is stated in the court papers as "an economic offence involving a huge sum of money"
Sounds like pretty serious stuff to me......Oh, and if their accounts are frozen, just how will they pay their affiliates? Not that they ever seem to do that, of course, but theoretically, how could they?
Writing well and truly on the wall if you ask me.

Hey, Joe Shmoe (and all of us here) - RS gets another mention on Mr Bruce Lamb's site; posted 27th Feb in which we are called "Thumbsuckers".
Joe Shmoe, you are singled out for special attention. He claims that our visiting his little site is helping his incentive traffic. Good for him!
He rambles on about other things as well, but I won't bore you with it. If anyone feels inclined, here is the link:-

Thanks for your answers about other Cork "speedball" scams (which by the way have noting to do with Banners Broker do they? but far be it from "newbs" like me to deem it off topic?)
as for "politics" and "semantics"
Here is what you stated in your words [I assume you know what "..." means]
I quoted this Beacon chap as he seems to enjoy taking the story off topic and it is a pity as most of the content is knowledgeable, informative, erudite and to the point and ...it's a pity that the newb throws it off course.
THAT is a clear personal comment about me. Not semantics.
I have read all of the thread. It is concise and informative and a credit to the participants.
If you deem it so "concise" and "informative" would you care to list the ten comments the best from from each thousand beginning at #1 up to #9400 and explain how in your view (having read all of them which are so concise) how they are also "erudite2 and deserve to be considered as outstanding from the thousand or so comments into which they are numerically grouped?
