Great post scinvestor. It really hones in on a very important point. If one pays attention to the patterns, a scam is easy to identify. Remember the old Mad Libs? With these ponzi posters, you could just take out the previous scam's name from the dialogue and plug in the new one.

Re: Banners Broker HYIP ponzi scam

    Hi guys,

Ive been following this thread since page 1 and i was also following the thread at scam.com which got deleted. I was invited to BB 2 months ago and just like everyone here, it just did not add up from day 1. I have seen friends making money everyday, up to 2k per week doing nothing and yes, it does look great but common sense does kick in when you start to ask yourself questions, the questions which everyone has raised here.

I must say scinvestor, poyol, char and noname in the scam.com thread prety much nailed all the details to prove this all doesnt add up. good work guys and keep up the good work Poyol.

To those attacking poyol, his doing a great job and so what if he spends alot of time on the forums posting facts, questions, etc... its helping heaps of readers make up their minds, think twice and ask questions.

My opinion on this whole program, bare in mind i know nothing about marketting and investing, it would appear there is no real advertising going on and to put it quite simple, its just a big pool of money which gets recycled around.... the money you take out is money from others. And the money you see in the program is just monopoly money which u can never take all out.

It absolutely amazes me how ppl can get so caught up in greed.

This turned up in my AOL spam box earlier. I don't know the writer, and have no connection to BB except for posting on forums like this one.

    Hi,

    My name is Joseph McDevitt.

I am a Banners Broker affiliate reaching out to fellow affiliates.

In the wake of what happened recently over at ZeekRewards and with all of the
scrutiny that the penny auctions and programs like Banners Broker are
subsequently receiving, there are many BB leaders and affiliates that see the
writing on the wall and are doing something about it.

What they are doing is setting up another plan of action, a plan B so to speak.

I encourage you to do the same. I know that Banners Broker has been taking
measures to avoid ending up like ZeekRewards, but it's always a good idea to
    have a plan B.

I want to share something with you that I came across recently. It's a post that
was done by a well recognized MLM affiliate advocate. I am sharing this with you
not to scare you, but because it's just the reality of what the penny auctions,
and programs like BB are facing in light of the recent debacle at ZeekRewards.

See the post here: Mlm Company Review | MLM Help Desk

If you would like to protect yourself and your future and take a look at the
program that myself and many of our Banners Broker colleagues are getting
involved in as a plan B, I invite you to attend an upcoming webinar. I must say
that since I became involved in this program I can certainly see why so many BB
    folks are getting involved.
(This company has already been through the scrutiny by the federal regulators
    and the SEC!)

If you would like to attend an upcoming webinar simply reply to this e-mail with
the word "YES" and I will send you the link to register.

As I said I'm not trying to scare anyone or cause any kind of fear, I am simply
reaching out to my fellow BB affiliates and my fellow Network Marketing
    colleagues.

    Regards,
    Joseph McDevitt

Re: Banners Broker HYIP ponzi scam

Those out there thinking about joining BB. Do yourself one favour. Ask yourself, why would BB shy away from scrutiny? Why would they go to the extreme of banning someone simply because they are critical of the program. I question and critique at work everyday, I am not fired. In fact I am rewarded for it. I question and critique the companies I am invested in all the time. They do not take my shares from me.

So why do BB take such extreme actions? The answer is obvious, as long as you actually want to know.[/QUOTE]

some amusing comments in these screen grabs.

    Go "shop" 'em Jamie!

I like the point by JW that BB (a [supposed] online advertising agency) don't actually advertise!? What an innovative strategy!!
So we can stop asking "where are the ads?", Jamie has just told us there aren't any.

What rule has this affiliate broken that was not previously broken by BB themselves. Jamie will have trouble trying to turn them in!

I am trying to read the last post:

Looking to 'shop' fellow BBers is exactly what is going to keep the company legal and compliant for many many years to come.

There are far too many affiliates promoting BB in a way that could potentially get us all shut down - promote it correctly and you wont have a problem.
    Comment:

So with no 'shopping' of fellow BBers the dream bursts like a soap bubble. That is of utmost importance for all Ponzi schemes. My dearest friends, honorable BBers go shop and you will never regret it unless if you accidentally shop the wrong guy. A set-up like the one your masters are using to built their dream on, has been tried in the past and failed. All it's needed is a single spark. I can foresee that this event is coming closer....and closer....can you here it coming? SO be careful.

Let me get this straight for you. BB is as much of a "legal entity" as your promotional campaigns are correct. Please elaborate on this approach cheerleader. I didn't get it. I am one of those idiots. Does this means that BB is a legal 'company' only if you, the affiliates are promoting it the right way? And what is the right way? Why so much sensitivity master on mistakes and errors? What is the risk exactly? Let us suppose you promote it as a job. And you attract the 'wrong type of attention' from the legal authorities. What do you have to afraid off, from an investigation? Why so anxious about warning your fellow BBers not to make a mistake? You have thousands of happy advertisers buying your packs, remember? Isn't this the actual cash cow of your so-called "company"? If you are so much frightened of the idea: 'an idiot makes a mistake and get us all in trouble', then why don't you stick to the revenue the advertisers are making for your beloved "company'? Why don't you just stop asking people to recruit (aka shop) more people and go and find some more advertisers to fuel your little economy?

Well I have news for you cheerleader. You have a destiny. Your luck will last until you drain out the pool of idiots and you start recruiting people with common sense. Those will be a real pain in the ass for you my friend. You are skating on thin ice. Very very thin....Can you hear the roar of angry scammed people coming after you? That's a possibility isn't it? And the question is how fast can you ran in an event like this...

    Hey Guys,

Great work being done here by all. Very interesting read although when I showed it to my sister and her neanderthal boyfriend they dismissed it as unsubstantiated negative rubbish from bitter people. It really is like trying to convince people in a cult. Bizarre.

Quick question, what advantage is it to bring other people into the cul.., sorry, Banners Brookers 'Business'? I ask this because my sisters boyfriend has over the last few weeks been very insistent to me, family members and, as far as I can tell, pretty much everyone he comes into contact with to join BB. What's in it for him?

Also, does this Jamie Waters character not realise people know his name, where he's from etc. When this blows there's going to be a lot of angry people . How do they expect there not to be any blowback or will he simply do a runner? Odd

    Cheers.

    Welcome to the forum, BS.

When recruiting people to BB beneath you, you gain 'sales credits' and a percentage of their commission as well as your own. It'll benefit him if he recruits you ... he'll also keep Banners Broker going by recruiting new members!

I don't think Jamie Waters cares about people knowing where he lives, etc.

    Thanks Jason,

No way am I getting involved with this charade. I'm only hoping my sister is not in too deep. Her boyfriend doesn't seem as annoyingly confident about BB in the last few weeks. Previously he was boasting about his online business like he was some sort of business big shot. I'm quite conflicted as I look forward to seeing the smile wiped off his face but also with the realisation that a lot of nice people will lose money as well.

The reason I ask about the likes of Jamie Waters and his ilk is that can't be that naive to stay at the same address when this blows up. My sisters boyfriend is a violent thug and will not take it well when the dust settles as he realises he's been had. Surely he'll disappear when it happens?? He'd be mad not to. Lots of crazy people out there.

The sooner this ends the better. Such an ugly scam especially in the present economic situation.

    I understand what you mean.

I wouldn't blame your sister's boyfriend for flying off the handle; it's been a learning curve for me to not fly off the handle and visit such addresses in person - things are better done the legal way.

So, I've a feeling that the 'clever' HYIP players are getting out, and moving onto the next one ... That can only mean one thing.

Banners Broker I'll give till Christmas, it's always a tetchy time for a Ponzi. People wanting to withdraw money for presents; and then who has money to reinvest after Christmas? Not me, that's for sure.

So, what IS the next one?
