I'm glad to hear that Max. I know you have probably been working harder than anyone. It must be great to finally see fruits of your labour.

For anyone in BB that wants to do me a favour. Could you ask the new shining light of BB, David Hooker, what his opinion is of the last company he was with, Herbalife. Actually, maybe Iain might answer that question. I know you are lurking. Fancy giving us your opinion?

Not sure Hooker's opinion matters. However the SEC is going to be offering an opinion, soon:

Yep. They are investigating already. Also, take a look at the share price. OUCH!

Hopefully David can do a similar job on BB(not that they would get an exchange listing in a million years!)

I really don't think there is. Once your email address has been given out thats it.

That's interesting. My mate added me on to his list of "potentials" and I did get an email this week from someone offering a scheme with high rates of return. Hmmmmmm, not impressed at all. I shall be having words :(

Hmm .. ever heard of the spamhaus project ;)
see The Spamhaus Project/ for further details..

When I worked for a large IT organization many moons ago.. part of my job was to

    nslookup the domain,
    find the registered owner.
    report the abuse
send a email advising them they may have a email relay open (words to that effect)
add the domain to the spamhaus project
    they get blacklisted :)

One of the biggest BB cheerleaders on MMG, solstar - a pro ponzi player, admitted the other day that BB is a ponzi and that its days are numbered. Now today he says he is never coming back to the BB thread(quite obviously distancing himself from the scam). Hope the drones are taking notice of important signs like this.

Ian, you've still not PM'd me the correct number, admins please check I'm telling the truth, you will find no messages from him.

I rang the number I was given again, this time the phone was turned off.

I understand if you're too much of a coward to face me on the phone, but surely it shouldn't be too difficult to post a quick reply here.

Come on Ian, show me ONE *genuine* banners broker ad, don't bullshit by saying there's no way to track where the ads are, I **KNOW** there is, if you're a genuine company like say (one just picked from memory at random) Affinity, you can track.

I know you're brainwashed Ian, but if you honestly believe you cannot see statistics and information about ads, think of this.

When you fill you car with fuel, does the petrol station just tell you how much you owe, or are you able to tell through a meter how much fuel you've put in the tank and how much it's going to cost you.

Electricity bills, do they just tell you, or is there a meter ?
    Gas ditto.

BB, do they show where ads are used ?

Come on Ian, do the maths, it isn't that hard, if you want to see the truth.

Think yourself lucky, some of the servers I administer get hundreds a day.

There are many steps you can take to stop this sort of rubbish, unfortunately a lot of it is done at a server level.

Thunderbird email client has a junk filter and Opera email client has a similar thing (as do most clients).

I find Thunderbird very bloaty, Outlook , well I think it's rubbish (and been full of security flaws), I would recommend you try out Opera, it's free and quite quick and easy to use.

Lots of LOLs (Little Old Ladies and men) Really Mark are these the future of Banners Broker?

I'm sure Mark & Co can help them with their accounts on them new fangled computermebobs.

I'm not a PHP Programmer, but always interested in seeing the code. After careful review, I found it too difficult for me to decipher anything. That's why they are so successful is my take.

Stokes isn't alone in targeting the pension brigade, the cuddly Bruce Lamb also sells BB as a "pension"

Who do you know that would like to meet then exceed the average UK pension in 6 months? If you know anyone, we can help them. However i want to be clear this isn't an investment, its a business and it takes effort .. but..Im worth it!!
Ah, so it's your pension you want the ladies and gentlemen to invest in, Bruce. How refreshingly honest....

Re: Banners Broker HYIP ponzi scam

Just had a phonecall - apparently Banners Broker is featured in today's Daily Mirror. I kept it a bit quiet but prior to Christmas I had some lengthy discussions with one of their reporters.

I can't find the article online yet but may go and purchase a copy at lunchtime - unless anyone pops it on here first!

But at least there is some UK publicity at last.

    Thanks Martin (Finch)

A good article other than a couple of out of date or incorrect points. It is essentially a Canadian operation and Ian Driscoll has obviously left!

I will contact them to mention it.

    Copied from the Herbalife report:
Investors' roller-coaster ride began last May, when another hedge-fund manager, David Einhorn of Greenlight Capital Inc., dialed into an earnings conference call to ask Herbalife executives about the company's business model. The shares tumbled following the call by Mr. Einhorn, who hasn't disclosed if he has taken any position in Herbalife shares. A spokesman for Mr. Einhorn declined to comment Wednesday.
