That's great, anyone with journalist contacts in the UK should be onto them about this. How embarrassing would it be for BB if this made the news - Olympic Silver Medalist warned about Ponzi!
Nice going there Phil!

Re: Banners Broker HYIP ponzi scam
I've seen some rubbish written over the last few months, but I think this blog post of 25th Feb takes the biscuit...or the raisin! Can't decide - is he saying Coca Cola are one of the advertisers on BB? Or, because he's now mentioned Coca Cola on BB when people search for Coca Cola they are going to find his page, click on the link and he earns money? If the former, do Coca Cola know they are an advertiser? If the latter, he really doesn't know much about Search Engine Optimisation.

So what is confusing me is, why can't BB issue Mastercards to their Indian affiliates? It doesn't seem like India have been paid yet since the police raided the offices? It doesn't seem that the Bangalore offices have been opened or if they are, did I miss the fanfare? Was India mentioned in Bolton? Have BB wiped India off the map?

Ill try again.
Noname do you have any feedback from the meeting for which you were collecting questions.
By the way Baylee
Perception is most certainly NOT always reality.
Someone who is falling from a cliff but believes they can fly may well think they will swoop up before they hit the ground but the reality of physics will soon change that.
Similarly BB survives because naive affiliates believe it is a business which most people can't understand. But just like the ground rushing to meet the person falling from the cliff BB will certainly crash for most of the affiliates. No wealth will be created. Money will just be redistributed to those higher up.
So the perception is that they will all get paid huge Lotto like sums. The reality is very very different. It is certainly NOT the same thing at all!

Rolland Millward the internet maestro abandoned banners brokers in favour of talk fusion sometime in January, but for some reason feels the need to keep defending BB which he himself stopped promoting some time ago, I think he is just playing along for the benefit of his downline - to buy himself time until it the inevitable collapse of BB at which point he will feign surprise and lay the blame on whichever agency moved on banners brokers and shut it down.
Rolland,I've had a look round your website, it looks like you did your graphics with a microwave oven, whats maestro about it?

Re: Banners Broker HYIP ponzi scam
Bruce Lamb, he of "Banners Broker, a journey" has noticed that his site has been referred to on RS Forum, and has this to say:-
"I cordially invite you to a session where we can sit down and discuss how this technology works and why it isn't a money scheme, it is a business and we are in a part of the world where we have to enter into commerce for financial reward or money/currency or equity of some description. To understand compliance or the ability to operate within a territory or region you would have had to undergo certain licencing criteria, this bb have done.
To understand what is a ponzi scheme i strongly recommend you read or visit "Planet Ponzi". Its a great read by Mitch Feierstein."
And:
" Keep posting the traffic is good for my cash flow..if you want the training in both commerce, IT and how this technology works i'm qualified to deliver all elements as I do it in my professional capacity as a self employed IT consultant."
He also says, in a further entry:
"A few months back in October id reached a point with what i had initially placed in the accounts could be taken out on a monthly basis, this has now increased as i emulate what my mentor has done - Duncan Wood.
Im grateful that ive seen this business as with my original £5,200 following his system i managed to put myself in a position where by 6 months down the road i could take out £5000 per month and the value of the business in annuity terms was between £450,000 to £500,000. My IFA informed me of this.
This is now significantly more as i've increased the number of qualifying yellow panels to 1700 per month."
His IFA also has a BB account. Apparently.
I am sure that they will be paying taxes on this massive wealth.
You know, someone ought to draw out a "family tree" of these BB people. The same names keep cropping up again and again, downlines, uplines, mentors, the lot. It would be useful to draw up a list of who is connected to who and how....

Re: Banners Broker HYIP ponzi scam
Interesting chat amongst the good folk at MMG BB forum. Seems like the new V2.9 requires a lot more recruitment by people. "The Guardianuno" says this:
"Skype rooms are going wild with negativity about having to recruit now, Simon Stepsys's room especially. People saying they wouldn't have joined if they knew this would happen. Simon and his fat cats are staying silent and no response yet about the change(s) from them, no surprise as they recruited everyone and are fine with the change, they won't fight BB to not screw people over, they are all about me me me."
If it is indeed the case that more recruitment is now needed, then a friend of mine who joined in January is completely screwed. He joined on the understanding that he did not have to recruit and would not have to; he told me if that is required he is just going to drop out. My favourite affilate, who recruited him (and has a down line of about 10 people, I believe - could be wrong, of course) has been VERY quiet on his little website recently. Not a peep out of him on his site since 15th Feb. I thought he would have been all over BB this weekend, boasting about how great it all was, but nothing. Don't know if he went up to Bolton or not - someone told me he would be too tight to pay the fare or petrol to get there. Which is odd when you think about how much money he says he is making from BB.....
My preception is that the BB Bolton shindig and V2.9 have not been a howling success.
Any news yet on the address of "Stellarpoint" in Salford Quays? Supposed to be operational today.

and again, affiliates using mastercard to give credibility to BB!!!! ( see Jo Spencer's post) From what I've seen some of those at the top/ recruiters, are not the sharpest tools in the box when it comes to independent thought. I can only imagine that the misinformation that surrounded the mcard and BB came from BB itself. The directive later issued by BB advising BB affiliates to not advertise BB and mastercard in the same context, strangely in the same month of this post must have been as a result of BB selling it to the affiliates this way in the first place !

Re: Banners Broker HYIP ponzi scam
Also so far, there is no evidence yet of a building, office, warehouse, a movie set with shoddy second hand furniture, or a broom cupboard in Salford with their name on a ten year lease.
But even if & when they do give an address it means absolutely nothing.
I'm sure Chris Smith (for want of a real name) Raj Dixit, and David Hooker wouldn't hesitate for a single second to walk away from a ten year lease when Banners Broker collapses.
Of course the faithful affiliates keep on drinking the Koolaid.

Re: Banners Broker HYIP ponzi scam
The BB "support" team about which I posted just now - the ones who seem to be royally upsetting the BB affilates....well, wonder if they are the 100 new staff at the European HQ at Salford Quays? The lot that poor young man who came here once spoke about after having an interview for a job with them? The place for which no address is yet known?
Well, if the staff have had training for their new roles, it clearly has not been up to much! I suppose BB can always write it off as teething troubles with the new office. Or is it a case that with a virtual office you get virtual staff giving virtual answers?
