Re: Banners Broker HYIP ponzi scam
From the website of Mark Stokes ("The Travelling Job Slayer") Banners Broker Manchester Meeting held by David Hooker Chief of Compliance and Development | Mark Stokes
It was great to finally meet David Hooker.. here are the notes from the meeting
David said he works for Stella point the management company for Banners Broker International
Raj Dixit owns Stella Point
7 other clients for Stella point Banners Broker is their number 1 client
European office for stellar point in Salford keys Manchester
David Hooker signed the lease for **10 years**
Stella Point in Manchester will be support for Europe
Interviewing staff for the offices from 21st February
staff training need 85 percent pass rate
Office opening 25th feb 2013
General manager appointed and is a lady member of staff in support in Canada she is flying over 20th feb
Question; If they are interviewing staff on 21st Feb, where are the adverts for prospective staff members placed? I imagine people would need about a week's notice of an interview, so letters would have to go out early next week at the latest. BB would need at least another week before that to sift through the applications. Then they would need to allow about 2 weeks for applications to come in to them.....so the job adverts should have been placed last month at least. Anyone seen them? You know, in the Manchester Evening News, in the Job Centre, online?
Presumably they will interview at their new offices? Anyone know where that is?? I mean, it would be a good chance to show prospective employees round the place in which they would be working, if successful at interview, wouldn't it? That's what most organisations would do. So the address should be on the job ad, wouldn't you think?
Why only 10 years for the lease - didn't I read somewhere they had plans for the next 20 years?
And in what will staff be tested, since they have to attain an "85% pass rate"? Maths? English? Understanding the BB system? And who is this "lady member" who is going to be the GM? Any names in the frame yet? Why is she only flying over on 20th Feb when interviews are on 21st Feb - surely she too would need some time to view her new offices, maybe leaf through the shortlist of applicants, prepare questions etc- I mean, she is going to be in on the interviews, right? Or taking an overview? Come to think of it, who is going to be doing the shortlisting and the interviewing?
If the offices are going to open on 25th Feb and interviews are only from 21st Feb, there isn't much time to interview people, get them started, go through the induction process, run through health and safety and company policies, set up all their personnel details for salary, pension etc, get them trained (pass level 85%) and ready to operate in what, four days or less? I mean, a month or so would be much more realistic, wouldn't you think?
Hello, anyone got any answers?

Oh well that puts a different complexion on things - can we have the auditors name, country and the audit regime and requirement please. eg Madeup Chartered accountants, UK, International standards on Auditing and companies act 2006? This is clearly not sensitive at all so should be no problem.
Whilst you are at it how about asking the auditors to report in the public domain that the business model is not funded mainly by new affiliates? This is merely repeating what everyone at BB has said all along so is not "top secret and classified". The auditors will have to do no additional work apart from draft an engagment letter, read their own files and sign the report. Piece of cake and for say $10,000 max you will have a massive PR win that may even trump the $4m theft you let out of the bag. Of course some will say that if (surely when?) the report comes out it will be from a small one man band, but i doubt this. BB is way too large and clearly too complex as it's whole business methodolgy is top secret and cannot be disclosed to enable anyone much smaller than PWC to handle the audit.
How about posting the report on monday? should be enough time.

When I go up to watch United I usually stay at Salford Quays. I also have a client there (not MUFC, lol). Next visit will have to take in a tour to these offices I think. I wonder how welcome I will be?
I suppose one thing I can say is that there is lots of office space available up there.

I didn't realise this, but I have to say that I don't think he is complaining about the likes of me. I think he's more worried about the people who are doing BB real damage such as Poyol, littleroundman, Theseus etc. Sorry I don't use my real name - I don't feel comfortable doing so Mr (or Ms) Beacon.
Sorry you feel such about the (limited amount of) stuff I have posted. I was hoping the snippets of Facebook info, emails received etc. would be of some interest to the people in this forum who know what they are doing with investigations (unlike me) and maybe something they could use in some way. Now I know otherwise I will cease and leave you to it.
Good luck with getting rid of this BB scam. I will continue to try and do my bit off this site by continuing to and dissuade people on the BB Facebook pages
I think Beacon didn't mean his/her post in the way it came out. It did sound a bit tetchy but i think perhaps Beacon thought you were supporting the scammer. Unfortunately some of our posts can be misread- its the curse of not being face to face. Without a sarcasm smiley your earlier post could be interpreted as being sorry for TS and deploring the likes of us at RS. Don't leave the site as I've enjoyed your posts.

This is great in a way because it means the core scammers - "representatives" -can be clearly identified> People like Terry and Raj and Lorenzo and Hooker can all be lumped into the same stew pot . Of course one would hope "affilliates" like those running Linkedin or Facebook groups which promote BB wont get off Scot free but it is important to first get the people claiming to be Banners Broker. The distinction is atrificial in a way because anyone could claim to be Banners Broker and syphon off all their money ionto their own scam. In fact we could set up a "real Banners Broker" or "Original Banners Broker" using their logo and have them bring us to court. You know then suing anyone else will never happen because if they went into a court the whole thing would be exposed as would their inability to defend their so called "business" as being legit.
