    Re: Americans serving Americans scam

There are any number of charitable organizations where upwards of 90% of all donations are spent on program expenses. If people can't donate their money, they can certainly donate their time. If people can't do either, not stealing and working hard to ensure their own security is nothing to sneeze at. It's hard to imagine anything would be more effective than one of these three approaches.

Americans Serving Americans Review: "We The People" cash gifting?

    Then we have this.

Americans Serving Americans are based out of Georgia in the US. The company is headed up by Vice-President David Ashby.

In 2010 Ashby (right) was promoting The Bold Approach - Affiliate marketing & recruitment In 2012 he started promoting another pyramid scheme Penny Matrix Review: God & $7/month membership.

    Re: Americans serving Americans scam

It's not often you will find scammers dumb enough to get caught lying on their own website. Let's play a little game called where did $23 go...

    Franchise Partners

ASA partners with many reputable franchises to raise money for The Movement and create more jobs in local communities. On a monthly basis, we invest money into purchasing franchises. Each franchise, purchased by ASA, creates dozens of jobs and pays all of its employees well above the minimum wage. Additionally, we use the profits from our purchased franchises to fund more businesses and create more jobs.

Example purposes only... ASA will move forward with purchasing its first set of franchises this year 2018. Stay tuned to our Facebook Page.

The investment plan, note the FOR Profit Status at the bottom. Also I found nothing when I searched the SEC Database. https://www.sec.gov/cgi-bin/browse-e...ion=getcompany

    Non Profit entity huh.JPG

If Americans Serving Americans was only accepting accredited investors being unregistered wouldn't be a big deal, the last slide indicates that's not the case. At a minimum cross border offerings would require registration in many countries where they are selling. Also it's not clear to me that the way this offering is structured isn't violating US law.

If you have reason to believe that an unregistered offering claiming to rely on one of these rules does not satisfy the applicable requirements, consider this a red flag about the investment.

Their enunciated investment strategy, selling bottled water on street corners. Apparently this girl will be slinging H20 for free as her wages aren't included in the profit calculation. Magically they have no expenses listed, who doesn't love the simplicity of a child's lemonade stand math?

    The water investment.JPG

If you're a big dog and go for the $100K slug you'll get 5% per month for six months. Of course they can pay investors back with their own money for up to 20 months and most would be none the wiser until withdrawals suddenly stop.

    5 percent per month huh.JPG

What are some Ponzi scheme "red flags"?

High investment returns with little or no risk
    Overly consistent returns
    Unregistered investments
    Unlicensed sellers
    Secretive and/or complex strategies
    Issues with paperwork
    Difficulty receiving payments

If you are aware of an investment opportunity that might be a Ponzi scheme, contact the SEC by phone at (800) 732-0330 or https://www.sec.gov/tcr.

This video gives the illusion that David Ashby is speaking in front of a huge crowd. Three separate timestamps show the lady on the right scratching her head with every audience pan, dandruff perhaps? But what of the balloons that don't bounce and the dude with his head hung low?

    Fake News.

    1.JPG

The commodity quotes were a nice touch, except in the real world prices change. Well and reporters are generally a little more forthcoming with who they're representing.

Perhaps the the most talented man in the production was the guy with the prayer cap and blue shirt that was able to beat David Ashby to the door while manning a camera.

    Fake News 3.JPG

Even less than impressed guy put on his running shoes to film with his phone the way real journalists are known to do.

    Less than impressed dude.JPG

Other than the ticker disappearing and so much footage of the same reporters swarming the David Ashby's truck from both inside and out I was almost convinced this was a real news conference.

At least they'll have two things to **** in when all is said and done.

What we know thus far: fake videos, no independently audited financials, no SEC filings, no TIN for the alleged not for profit, questionable judgement of at least one of the Eagles, an alleged "mini-bank", and a cult like following washing cars and sending Ashby some of the money. All on the assertion that proceeds will be used to fund businesses, yet without third party accounting who can say?

    What could possibly go wrong?

The quote below this video makes me call into question if Forbes Riley was paid to do this story on Vfinity? As with Americans Serving Americans disclosures surrounding her remuneration are hard to come by.

    Re: Americans serving Americans scam

There are any number of good charities and lots of bad/inefficient ones. I think Feeding America does a good job, although I do have some issues with executive compensation. Unlike Americans Serving Americans there is financial transparency, at least I know what the compensation is and roughly where my time/money goes.

It will be a cold day in hell before I pay $299 for a bucket and hat so I can spend my weekend at a bake sale raising money on spec. I can and have sent money to Feeding America, have also spent time sorting food donations in a few warehouses. $1 equals 3 meals, why reinvent the wheel? There are any number of causes where similar math applies, something new and completely unproven to be more efficient detracts from helping people.

We're a year into this thing and David Ashby couldn't even be bothered to properly register a charity. To put this in perspective, there is a guy I helped (along with the VA, a homeless ministry, and a housing assistance agency) get off the streets. He is living in a tiny apartment and wears second hand clothes. Wanting to pay it forward, even he was able to register a 501(c)3 and dude can barely use a computer.

    Re: Americans serving Americans scam

David Ashby certainly talks a good game, but I don't think ASA will be for we the people that can think critically.

A "delegate" can raise $500 per month and receive a check for $20,000 at years end. Why would people not just send $500 per month for such a magnanimous payout?

    What could go wrong.JPG

A "governor" can raise $30,000 and receive a check for $200,000, exactly why would accredited investors not do this in lieu of the paltry sums paid in the investment program?

    What could go wrong3.JPG

Ashby goes on to claim that 95% of revenues (not profits) will go back to "We the People", can't be since his goofy water bottle slide contradicts this math.

    Accounting.jpg
    What could go wrong1.JPG

Quite simply most accredited investors know legit investment opportunities aren't offered on Facebook or Youtube by unlicensed salespeople. A more likely scenario is a few idiots will lie about being accredited and pay the price.

I'm kind of fascinated by the demographics of Davis Ashby's apparent zip code there in Lithonia, Georgia:

    55% female to 45% male?

Average female over 6 years older than the average male?

    Hmm.

The illusion of wealth and success should concern anyone planning to invest in ASA.

There are plenty of people living in big houses and driving fancy cars just a paycheck away from bankruptcy, I wouldn't invest with them either. Here we have someone that's putting on a display of affluence with things like fake press conferences.
Call me cynical, but two SUVs filmed from a drone seems like a ploy and a financially imprudent one at that.

When Mike Deese was trotted out as this Western Wizard of Finance a similar dynamic took place. Desse owned a small house, but as the scam progressed he bought a $500,000 McMansion. He too was "sharing" profits with his members, just not those profits apparently. Now taxes are delinquent on both houses, and a lot of people will never see their investments. http://www.realscam.com/f9/my-advert...tml#post122965

There is zero transparency with ASA, just big things to come. This offering should have been registered with the SEC which would include independently audited financials. People sending cupcake money faithfully each month are taking a huge leap of faith they will more than triple it in a year.

Yeah, I thought this sounded familiar.

About 50,000 children nationwide are involved. They're often underprivileged and underage. Make no mistake: These are not your neighbor's kids selling something to support their soccer team or Girl Scout troop. These children are often poor, and they're bused in to sell to you.

Wonder how people would feel knowing their donation to "Serving Americans" was actually going to people hoping to earn a kickback just like real politicians?

    Re: Americans serving Americans scam

Is there any proof that Holyfield doesn't have a similar deal with ASA?

    Evanders House.JPG

Top 10 Bankrupt Athletes (players) Boxing, Football, NFL, NBA

AriseBank was running an initial coin offering, selling its virtual currency to investors for $1.20 to $1.40 a coin. The startup agreed to pay Holyfield 2.5 million AriseCoins, with an expected value of $3 million, according to former AriseBank CEO Jared Rice. It would have been one of Holyfield’s biggest paydays since the heyday of his boxing career in the late 1990s. A spokesperson for Evander Holyfield declined to comment.

Now it seems that the value of those magic coins has vanished
