Scam Alert - Lawaoi Career Center is old sophisticated China job fraud with a new name - same Russian owner. My Review:

Even scam artists learn from their mistakes I guess. This veteran Russian scam artist is now trying to blend in with the other 300+ black China job agents that tell young gullible university grads to lie on thoer visa application and come work in China without a work visa (Z visa) and if they don't have the mandatory university degree that the Chinese law now requires - no problem, you will get a "coincidental" mystery call from "a friend of a friend who heard you need a deploma" and for $1,500 they will sell you one "complete with a raised gold seal, that is identical to the origial". So odd that the deiploma seller also has a Russian accent, (maybe a relative of the owner Yuri?). But that is just part of the scam. It gets better.

Not only do they put young naive grads at risk of getting deported from China with a criminal record (see Record number of foreign expat ESL & Tefl teachers lose China jobs after being arrested & deported | Open Letter) they lure them with "wonderful great paying China jobs" that reall do not even exist. Most all their victims applied through a blind ad that typically reads "Earn 20,000 a month in China working 30 hours a week - no degree required". First they do not say the 20,000 is Chinese rmb (about $3,200 a month) but even if you knew that this fake job is a brass ring that only veteran teachers with an education degree will earn. So people appliy for this job ad that serves only one purpose - as a magnet to collect a shitload of resumes.

Now the smooth talking begins with Skype calls that only tell you about all the great things in China and how the girls are so sweet and want to get laid by foreigner ("every week you will have your choice of partners partners") although they don't use this line on the female applicants. They tell you how quicck promotions are in China because of the supposed lack of foreigners. They tell how cheap the food and beer is, but never tell you that Beijing rent is sky high and that you will have to share your apartment with two roommates if you want to save any money. They don't tell you about the toxic air wand water pollution, and how your own employer will cheat you. They deliberate string out their calls over a week time and do not try to close you on tghe first or even second call. Why? Because they want to share their "many video testimonials" of "other satisfied clients". What you don't know is that they offered $500 to expats in China to make these 2-5 minute videos and that all the "3rd party reviews" were written by just 3 different employees of their company - the same creative scambags that wrote reviews for their old scams Gi2c, China Express, Getin2China, Wiseway Global, etc. They certainly will not tell you that most of the expats working China want out 73% of China foreign ESL & TEFL teachers surveyed are leaving China jobs for 5 reasons in 2017 according to CFTU poll | Open Letter

The truth is that Yuri Khlystov and his Beijing gang has been ripping people off for ten years with five different scams that are listed and expained here below at the other links, starting with over-priced hookers from Russia that robbed their tourist clients at the Beijing Olympics. Victims did not dare call the police and spend 30 days in the klink for supporting a prostitute. My uncle was one of their first victims way back in 2008 to the tune of $3,100 and a gold Rolex watch.

Oh, I forgot to mention the fake Skype call interview you will have with "the HR company" which is very official sounding and believable. My call was very convincing I have to admit. Fake China Job Interview call - Laowai Career Center Scam : Shanghai Open Chat

The killer is when you jump through all their hoops and get to China, that great job you applied for is gone - supposedly "just filled by a more qualified candidate". Now you read the carefully worded contract they sent you and see that only the position is specific, not the company! Now you are stuck 3,000 miles from home with no income and they offer you another "temporary job" that will "at least keep you afloat" until we find you another plum job". Worried that you will spend all your savings lliving in an expensive hotel in China, you listen to these clowns and get trapped in a job that pays $800 a month for a year. Maybe you were even dumb enough to let them "hold your passport". They already collected their $1,000 fee from the employer and your "processing fee" if you were dumb enough to pay it. In their eyes you are history while you still wait for their call with that "plum job" they promised you.

When you wake up and smell the coffee and want to call the cops, you realize that is the last thing you want to do because Laowai Career Center put you to work illegally on a tourist or business or culture visa (L, F, or M visa) which all are illegal. Call the cops now and YOU will be the one to get arrested like these 2,500+ other victims. https://eslwatch.info/en/eslwatch-fo...2016/1311.html

This Laowai Career Center in Beijing, China great China job scam that is beng done in high volume - about 50 victims a week. Do the math. Old Yuri is raking it in. Here is Yuri's long history of scams in China and his photo with his staff. https://www.scam.com/showthread.php?...79#post1944379. The guy standing underneath the painting is "Tommy" who was the only one arrested from this bunch for visa fraud. He took the sword for Yuri who would have been permanently banned from China if Tommy or the others told the truth about the fake jobs and diplomas. Oh, according to their old webmaster Steve B. the applicants who refuse the crap job or internship offers made to them, still become victims, because their resumes will be sold to identity thieves for $300 a pop. Its a win-win situation for Yuri.

Anyone who wants real jobs in China can get them for free . Avoid these unlicensed black job recruiters at all costs, and be sure to read these links first or you WILL have several unpleasant surprises and huge loss of income. https://www.scam.com/showthread.php?...75#post1944475 China is not for the meek nor naive job seeker. There are dozens of land mines you need to avoid every step of the way there. If any of you know some good scam baiters out there, please turn them on to these con artists.

This is the veteran scammer Yuri, compliments of realscam.com archives:

Re: Scam Alert - Lawaoi Career Center is old sophisticated China job fraud with a new name - same Russian owner. My Revi

<><><>Update On the Laowai Career Center Scam<><><>

The owner has been exposed in the UK by University Students (see below screen shots since a hacker deleted the original link). Also, according to a few posts by victims at AbroadReviews.com, the Russian owner has hired a guy name Stefan who is in his late 30s or early 40s from America that is blog writing for him now under various fictitious names like "Stephanie". These blogs all say how great it is to work in China and that "although there are a quite a few scammers, Laowai Career Center is a trusted pioneer in the China job market that most expats use". He also employs another Russian man in his mid-30s named Igor with short blond hair that uses SEO tricks to either hide or bury complaints about the company online - just like they did when their Gi2c fraud was exposed two years ago. For example, a former customer named "Bernie" had posted a review on the Gi2c blog and their facebook page asking directly for Yuri to name at least 1o or 20 of the "over 100 Fortune 500 and MNC companies that use Laowai Career Center for their HR and internship needs". which is told to every job applicant that is dumb enough to take their China career dream bait. Instead of giving Bernie a listing, they just deleted his comments and then banned him when he asked a second time. Another user named Barbara published their real HQ address in Beijing and was also deleted and banned, along with some other "satisfied customers" who repeatedly posted complaints about housing, asked why they were given different unwanted job assignments, or how to get a refund?. All were deleted. At Reddit and Abroad Reviews it was revealed that Laowai Career Center holds parties, gets customers 'in a happy mood" on cheap Chinese wine and then videotapes them for 2 hours. Then with covert editing, they create "testimonials". If anyone asks why they are being video taped, they are reminded that the small print of their contract allows for their images to be used "for promotional purposes." In their past Gi2c scheme Yuri was already caught offering 1,000 yuan for 2 minute fake videos and a loy of young people staying at local Beijing hostels took the offers. Some toursist at the Great Wll and Summer Palace were also solicited according to a former employee who confessed at http://eslwatch.info/forum/china. I think there is no more professional con artist than this Russian and his gf who threaten to get people arrested if "they make problems for themin China". Just google "reddit.com, Laowai Career Center" and read this PSA Fraud Warning: Avoid Laowai Career Center Scam in China - They Lie & Cheat! | Abroad Reviews. Because Yuri deliberately brings most of his customers into China illegally without a Z visa, he only tells the "trouble-makers" about this or let's his gf do the threatening. So if I was a pissed off customer who brings the police to his office, not only would the cop be bought off, but Yuri would tell the cop "check his visa officer". Game over.

Former Gi2C client Winnie Maliko already warned people online about how Yuri asked her to lie on her visa application (Google her) and other former employees who were cheated on wages also admitted they often instructed by Yuri photp-shop to fabricate or "edit" invitation letters and another email spooking software to create fake emails from non-existent past "satisfied customers" and even used spoof emails to try and blackmale people into silence. Only a lucky few got refunds when they managed to get the attention of CCTV news reporters. That is the only way people can get a refund it seems. I became friends with a former employee who confirmed what Chna Scam Patrol said 2 years at http://chinascampatrol.wordpress.com about 70% of the employees leave every 6-9 months, and said either they freaked out when angry customers find the office and want to physically fight with Yuri, or when the police dragged away a colleague below (Tommy) for visa fraud. That employee also introduced me to a former webmaster from the U.K. that worked for Yuri named Steve Brown who said he resigned in protest after he realized the stuff he was being asked to post on the internet was mostly fake, or real ads that were copied and pasted from the web sites of legitimate companies! This Russian needs to be sent packing or at the very least fed to packs of scam baiters imo.

Note to all... Yuri has his hacker Igor (yes, his real name) deleting/corrupting/redirecting the negative links about his gang - again. I can only post 5 attachments so here is the latest one that was deleted but I will post some more tomorrow. And at the same time he is hacking the complaints, they are posting a bunch of fake testimonials and sugar coated reviews proven to be fanricated here: https://www.reddit.com/r/ChinaScamCe..._of_china_job/

FINALLY! If Laowai Career Center is NOT a China job scam they should answer these 15 simple questions... | Open Letter and http://reddit.com/r/chinascamcentral. These guys are so slick they actually pay Google thousands of dollars to keep negative complaints about them off of the first page Gi2c Reviews According To Google and DuckDuckGo.com - China Job Scam or Legit? | Open Letter and then use a professional hacker to delete the really nasty comments as you can see here: http://chinascamreport.wordpress.com. They never give up.
