Even scam artists learn from their mistakes I guess. This veteran Russian scam artist is now trying to blend in with the other 300+ black China job agents that tell young gullible university grads to lie on thoer visa application and come work in China without a work visa (Z visa) and if they don't have the mandatory university degree that the Chinese law now requires - no problem, you will get a "coincidental" mystery call from "a friend of a friend who heard you need a deploma" and for $1,500 they will sell you one "complete with a raised gold seal, that is identical to the origial". So odd that the deiploma seller also has a Russian accent, (maybe a relative of the owner Yuri?). But that is just part of the scam. It gets better.

Not only do they put young naive grads at risk of getting deported from China with a criminal record (see Record number of foreign expat ESL & Tefl teachers lose China jobs after being arrested & deported | Open Letter) they lure them with "wonderful great paying China jobs" that reall do not even exist. Most all their victims applied through a blind ad that typically reads "Earn 20,000 a month in China working 30 hours a week - no degree required". First they do not say the 20,000 is Chinese rmb (about $3,200 a month) but even if you knew that this fake job is a brass ring that only veteran teachers with an education degree will earn. So people appliy for this job ad that serves only one purpose - as a magnet to collect a shitload of resumes.

Now the smooth talking begins with Skype calls that only tell you about all the great things in China and how the girls are so sweet and want to get laid by foreigner ("every week you will have your choice of partners partners") although they don't use this line on the female applicants. They tell you how quicck promotions are in China because of the supposed lack of foreigners. They tell how cheap the food and beer is, but never tell you that Beijing rent is sky high and that you will have to share your apartment with two roommates if you want to save any money. They don't tell you about the toxic air wand water pollution, and how your own employer will cheat you. They deliberate string out their calls over a week time and do not try to close you on tghe first or even second call. Why? Because they want to share their "many video testimonials" of "other satisfied clients". What you don't know is that they offered $500 to expats in China to make these 2-5 minute videos and that all the "3rd party reviews" were written by just 3 different employees of their company - the same creative scambags that wrote reviews for their old scams Gi2c, China Express, Getin2China, Wiseway Global, etc. They certainly will not tell you that most of the expats working China want out 73% of China foreign ESL & TEFL teachers surveyed are leaving China jobs for 5 reasons in 2017 according to CFTU poll | Open Letter

The truth is that Yuri Khlystov and his Beijing gang has been ripping people off for ten years with five different scams that are listed and expained here below at the other links, starting with over-priced hookers from Russia that robbed their tourist clients at the Beijing Olympics. Victims did not dare call the police and spend 30 days in the klink for supporting a prostitute. My uncle was one of their first victims way back in 2008 to the tune of $3,100 and a gold Rolex watch.

The killer is when you jump through all their hoops and get to China, that great job you applied for is gone - supposedly "just filled by a more qualified candidate". Now you read the carefully worded contract they sent you and see that only the position is specific, not the company! Now you are stuck 3,000 miles from home with no income and they offer you another "temporary job" that will "at least keep you afloat" until we find you another plum job". Worried that you will spend all your savings lliving in an expensive hotel in China, you listen to these clowns and get trapped in a job that pays $800 a month for a year. Maybe you were even dumb enough to let them "hold your passport". They already collected their $1,000 fee from the employer and your "processing fee" if you were dumb enough to pay it. In their eyes you are history while you still wait for their call with that "plum job" they promised you.

When you wake up and smell the coffee and want to call the cops, you realize that is the last thing you want to do because Laowai Career Center put you to work illegally on a tourist or business or culture visa (L, F, or M visa) which all are illegal. This Laowai Career Center in Beijing, China great China job scam that is beng done in high volume - about 50 victims a week. Do the math. Old Yuri is raking it in. The guy standing underneath the painting is "Tommy" who was the only one arrested from this bunch for visa fraud. He took the sword for Yuri who would have been permanently banned from China if Tommy or the others told the truth about the fake jobs and diplomas. Oh, according to their old webmaster Steve B. the applicants who refuse the crap job or internship offers made to them, still become victims, because their resumes will be sold to identity thieves for $300 a pop. Its a win-win situation for Yuri.
