Thread: Talk Gold Mods On A Banning Spree

An interesting development on the Talk Gold forum. They used to allow differing opinions on the program threads. Then suddenly they started deleting posts, moving them to off-topic threads, or to the war zone; that is if you are a 'troll, naysayer or negative poster.' Now if they don't like your post they give you 5 warning points for the post and ban you forever. I guess the shills are complaining they can't recruit enough people due to all the "Trolls," "Naysayers," and "Negative People" posting exposing these scams.

Seems the mod tick-tack thinks that anyone posting against a program is somehow affiliated with me or Eagle, which is not the case, but then when did facts ever stop a mod who promotes scams from thinking differently?

I had not posted for over a week, and I got 5 warning points for a post I had made some 8 days earlier so they could ban me. tick-tack even admitted on the open forum he was looking for a way to ban me and others of my little group. I made an appeal to another mod to see what, if anyting, would be done, so it will be interesting to see the reply I get. Not expecting much, but had to try.

So if anyone has any factual dirt on TG/MMG, the mods, the owner, Brian (Yes I know he claims he sold the TG forum, I just don't believe it), please send it to me. Anything is greatly appreciated. I think it is time to turn the heat up on TG/MMG and their mods. Hopefully you agree and can help us.

My Sympathies! Those HYIP forums are a nightmare. I remember blogging about Prosperity Automated Systems on one of them before the SEC shut them down of course. I got posts deleted and edited all over the place. I got lectured by the Mods and jumped on by all sorts of idiots who were claiming to be wildly successful with that joke of an opportunity. Imagine how quiet it got when the dang scam got shut down.

Thanks, but no sympathy needed. Just weird that all of a sudden they are stiffling exposure of these scams when before they allowed a discussion between the two sides. Not sure if they have new mods who are eyeball deep in these scams, but something changed, and it happened very quickly. Will be interesting to see how they will respond to my appeal.

What was really unusual is that tick-tack (a mod) stated openly that he was out to ban me permanently, as well as the others in "my group." Only problem is I don't have a "group" there. The first time a mod has openly stated on a public forum their intentions. Usually they just do it quietly so no-one knows what happened. He was actually bragging about what he was going to do.

They didn't like me exposing Club Asteria, and especially pointing out that cherryshares would soon collapse, which it did. They would delete posts, move them to other threads claiming they were off-topic, etc.. But when I opened up on Club Asteria, that's when tick-tack really got his underwear in a knot.

But what was really weird is that JH, LRM and Okosh were posting far more incriminating things about Club Asteria than I was, and he wouldn't touch them, which is a good thing. They were more of a thorn in his side than I was. That's what was so weird about all of this.

I got permanently banned! The scammers have taken that cesspool over and don't want us slowing down their recruiting. No notice, just zapped. I will hold that as a badge of honor in the highest degree.

The scammers lost another crap forum to advertise their scum bum deals on. That is the place where I exposed PAS. It was such a delight to watch the SEC shut that down.

No doubt Talkgold will disappear as well. Any legitimate posters asking penetrating questions and exposing the scammers get banned quite unceremoniously. When the scammers see their garbage is welcome the place will end up completely swamped with it!

Yep, pretty much the e-mail I got,then when I pushed Geoff, he came up with MPD. What is with those clowns that they can't clearly and openly state why the ban and who took the action. I guess facts at TG are like Kryptonite to Superman...! I notice their favorite dog, Buster plods along, even though it is likely that he is a true MPD case. Oh, he....errrr well!

Well I doubt there is an active poster at TG with more warnings and temp bans then me....Roughly a couple of dozen warnings and close to 10 temp bans....

Let me second SBM's welcome. It seems we all have a common "hobby," telling people the things a certain type of promoter doesn't wish for them to know. Talkgold may be making it harder for the truth to be told but that's not exactly the same thing as shutting us up, now is it? We just might need to take a move deliberative tact.

I had an elementary school teacher who, in retrospect was somewhat countercultural (or as much as she could be with third graders). They didn't let her teach us Hippy protest songs so she adapted, it wasn't until I started studying the trade union protest movements years later that I realized I already knew several of their songs by heart. I can't say for sure that C-A has absolutely no revenue other than peoples membership fees but I think it's an overwhelmingly safe thing to say that almost all of the money C-A takes in is either members monthly fees or money they trade for extra Asterios. Gee, what ever could be the problem with that? Well quite simply the promise is that you can take more money out than you put in but if the only (or near only) money available for those pay outs comes from what people pay in, some people, perhaps a great number of them, have to lose money in order for a few to make that profit.

Some people enjoy playing ponzi games and God bless them, they know the deal, they pay their money and take their chances. It's little different than a casino to them, granted a real casino gives you free drinks and in a real casino you very seldom have to worry if the building will disappear before you can cash in you chips. How many veteran Internet ponzi players had cash in a program when the admin up and vanished like a fart in the wind? I bet you wished you were sitting in a real casino sipping free drinks when that happened, am I right?

To someone joining C-A the question isn't if C-A will be paying next month or even the month after. Look at the pay plan. If you join as a gold member today and pay your $19.95 each month it will be what, better than 11 months before you break even? Math isn't my strong suit so please correct me if I'm wrong and accept my thanks for having done so. So it isn't so much an question of will C-A be up and running next month, for many, if not most the question is will it be up and running next year?

The answer to that weighs heavily on my previous questions, outside of inclusion in the pay plan what of marketable value is Club Asteria selling? The E-Books are crap, coaching and mentoring, at least in this context are almost always a scam and if Mr.Needham could sell his capture pages and auto responders on the open market, he wouldn't be giving them away as a gold member perk. Hell, even such an experienced and veteran internet marketer as DRdave never mentions any of C-A's "ancillary services" in his recruiting posts. Correct me if I'm wrong, and I really mean that, but C-A is only selling the opportunity to join a money game and these games always seem to end at some point. And as a wise man once said in his forum signature they usually seem to end just after you put your money into them. All newcomers please take note!

I wonder how organized they really are? I mean Eddie makes a good observation, Ken doesn't lower himself into the fray and he never addresses any questions. There are other people to take care of that. But is it deliberate or is it just a matter of ponzi players banding together to keep the realists from scaring off the marks?

And how is the game played there? I got four, polite and on topic posts off before they banned me. How do you guys keep living to post another day (at least as much as you do)?
