Malwarebytes has been tagging Talkgold as a malicious website and blocking access for about two months now:

It's dead because they banned who they called "Trolls." They didn't realize that we were the ones driving traffic to their sites in all their Ponzi threads, or they really didn't care. But their advertising revenue must really be hurting because of it. Then they could always sign up for MAP, Traffic Monsoon and utilize their "outstanding" advertising services to promote TG. (inside joke and sarcasm)
Since I have not been to TalkGold in over a year, I thought I would go take a look around just for grins. Well, low and behold when trying to access the website I got this message from MalwareBytes, and I quote:
"Malwarebytes has blocked a potentially malicious website."
Made me wonder how many others trying to visit their website were getting the same error message if they used Malwarebytes? Still too funny in so many ways for me.
I think the free version allows the site to load but the paid version doesn't. I'll have to try it on one of my other computers that doesn't have the paid version to see if it allows me access. What is interesting is that it allows MMG to load. I think TG has a lot of nefarious links throughout the site. I get a notice that certain content is not secure on MMG now and then, but the site is not blocked like at TG. I just wanted to see who was still around that I knew from when I could post there. Hopefully a few are still exposing all the scams/Ponzi's/illegal cash gifting schemes there to warn the newbies from losing their money.
There are like 3mods left..NAN, ticktack and the forum Nazi....MrGSH and tdinoz are no longer mods...
Truth is that TG and MMG are both dead....the few banner adds that are at TG all look to belong to Brian...blackdoss...forex training...buy traffic...these are all his adds and not adds of customers which means that TG today based on revenue has a value of stuff all...
Was a time where some of those fighting the good fight thought that the answer was to try and get the forums shut down......IMHO the answer today is to try and get facebook to tighten it's rules so that when we find a group for a scam we can report it and get the group shut down and the admins of the group have their personal FB accounts suspended or banned....
Just imagine if you got Sunil or Lewis Syring banned from FB??....would be awesome...
There were 4, including me, viewing at MMG. But hey they have shiny new 3rd party stuff to promote. I especially love the Café offering. Hmm, let's see..one of the weakest business models is an Internet Café/Coffee shop. Market is glutted, shops are closing and these geniuses are promoting owning your own Café. Reminded me of Bryan Marsden and his clubs he tried to sell franchises and fell flat on its face. This is no different. Some never learn.
I was able to login to TG from my other computer, so it is the premium version of Malwarebytes that is blocking access to their website. I am sure it is loaded with malware and links to other suspicious websites as to why it is being blocked. Now that the Ponzi pimps are using FB to promote their Ponzi's, MMG and TG are hurting. It will be interesting to see how long before FB starts cracking down on these Ponzi FB pages.
Because of all the security threats we get on a daily basis, we use the top-of-the-line malware and virus protection software we can find.
When trying to access the TalkGold website our malware software sent me the following message, and I quote:
"Your malware malicious website blocking technology has blocked outgoing or incoming communication between your computer and a malicious Internet Protocol (IP) address. That's a good thing. This communication could be:
• An attempt to download malware onto your computer
• An attempt to redirect you to a malicious webpage
• An attempt to deliver malicious advertising
If you are receiving these notifications without a browser being open, we recommend you run a scan with your Anti-Malware pronto to check for malware on your computer."
So I used one of my backup machines and turned off our malware protection software to see what our Anti-Virus software would do. Again, I got an immediate warning that the site has a high degree of risk of obtaining viruses from multiple sources embedded in the website. So living dangerously (since it is a 4th machine we use as a backup system, I disabled both software packages to see what would happen.)
I was able to browse TalkGold and check out five threads to see if I would pickup any malware/adware or a virus or two. Once I finished viewing, I enabled our software protection and ran two scans: 1 for malware/adware and the 2 for any viruses. The results were interesting to say the least. When I ran the malware/adware scan, it found 43 malware and 36 adware on the system. There were zero major viruses on the system, but there were 8 suspicious files that had been downloaded on my system; and they were immediately quarantined for me to review and decide if I wanted to delete or keep in quarantine. Needless to say I deleted all of them, including all the malware/adware that was downloaded on my system just from visiting and viewing 5 threads.
Not exactly a ringing endorsement of the safety of viewing TalkGold. Granted our software is far superior to what the general public uses, but still unless the public has sufficient malware/adware and virus protection, they are putting their computers at high risk.
What I did find most interesting, however, was the place was like a ghost town. A far cry from the hustle and bustle of TalkGold of years past before all the banning began.
I can't remember the last time I tried to access TG. It went to crap immediately after banning the major naysayers and just was not worth the read after that.
So I was doing a lil digging today into a scam and I ended up at tg...
Looks like the bots and spammers have moved in and are multiplying....
When I try to access TG, Firefox won't let me connect giving me this message:

When I try with Chrome, MalwareBytes blocks the site and this pops up:

Now MMG is giving me warnings when I access their forum threads. I get at least 2-4 websites that are blocked when reading all the threads I visit. Of course they are the same ones every time, but still never got them before. I think Geoff has a major issue on his hands with TG and MMG being infected by those advertising on the forums. Almost all of those being blocked are the HYIP websites. I can only imagine how many computers are being corrupted from people visiting their sites. Glad I have great software protection that keeps me safe.
That 4th computer that I experimented with on the TG forum, just tossed me a fake ransom ware attack. I was able to go to task manager and stop it from running, but one more reason not to visit TG. If it had been the real deal, I could have cared less as there is nothing on it to pay a ransom for to get the data back. It would have gone to the computer graveyard. One thing is for sure, there was an embedded ransom ware software put on the system to launch at a later time. Since I don't use it that much, not sure if it was set to launch on a specific command or link. So be careful out there when visiting TG. I'd warn them but I can't access their site. I am letting MMG know what is happening with the blocked websites.
The mods and admins haven't been at TG for a month!!!...
WOW! A far cry from their heyday aren't they.
It seems that FB is taking away the platform for the Ponzi's. While MMG Is still active, it is a far cry from what it was just a year ago. All the pimps didn't like they couldn't get me banned, posts deleted, warnings given like before, so they moved to FB to have total control over who and what could be posted.
If Futurenet was smart, they would promote their program to the Ponzi pimps telling them they would be able to stop all us haters by using their platform, and it would be a safe haven. It won't be long until FB starts banning accounts once the complaints and reporting of sites reach a certain level to begin the cleanup of Ponzi promotions. Futurenet would be ideal for them. They could care less if people complained.
