Interesting that this fake model's picture was used so soon after a previous POTW winner (Kathy Hamilton) had to spend two or more years in Scamland retirement after using a model from Eastern Europe instead of her own picture. I will try to dig out a picture of the original Kathy, unless somebody beats me to it, while i am at work.

I am sure that I can find a picture of the original Kathy Hamilton but I must do some cleaning and housework. BoggyBoy got upset about Kathy's picture so it is odd that he lets AmandsR get away with the same thing.

This stuff is just too funny to not share it with you in RS. However, please do remember that everyone of them are promoting some kind of scam or program, even if it is only to promote Adland knowing what it harbors.

Hello everyone, following this thread has shown me just how unethical some of you are and I must say I was very disappointed in some of you. I really thought you had more integrity but I guess I was wrong. Just how wrong I was, was made very clear to me recently and especially this morning as I read down through the post history headlines.

All I can say is shame on those of you that have hijacked this thread for your own personal gain and don't try and deny it. The evidence is very clear and I watched a few days ago when it was very politely pointed out but that post was quickly deleted. Which brings up another concern. It appears censorship is now the order of the day. There was no reason to delete that post that stated facts and so I'll be saving this post in case it is deleted.

I had voted for Linda Harvey but since she is ineligible that vote does not count. Not sure, at this point, whether I'll use that vote for one of the other candidates or not and also not sure whether or not I will continue to support the POTW since even the POTW team has assisted in violating the NO ADS rule.

Oh PLEASE Dennis, you know as well as I do I was NOT referring to Mark and I resent you even suggesting it. Mark is the only one that has offered any real help without expecting anything in return.

I could not care less about any "Vibe" you may have gotten. I have been a LONG time supporter of the POTW but that very well may change now. You're right when you say this thread is to help the POTW, which was exactly my point and not to be used as someone's personal ad board and you know exactly what I'm referring to so don't try and twist my words to try and make them sound like something they're not. You should be apologizing for your part in it and not trying to cover it up by trying to create a smoke screen and pass the blame to me.

The graphics are great. What I'd like to see is for newer nominees to be properly advised by the person who nominated them, on how to promote themselves, especially by participating in public forums consistently, preferably with non-ad posts, nominees need to be advised on how to gain a loyal fanbase and how to WIN, from their activity in Adlandpro Community, not in Facebook, not by joining a business and letting their biz team vote on them while they don't have any activity themselves.

Also, if the Team/Helpers would hold off on their vote comments until after the poll closes, so as not to sway the vote, because the Team/Helpers have an influence on the voting.

Just wanted to contribute with a definition of MLM from Jon M Taylor. It's from his ebook Case (for and) against MLM:

"Multi-level marketing (MLM) is a purported income opportunity, in which products are sold by recruitment of persons who are incentivized to recruit others in endless chains of participants, who must buy products to qualify for commissions and to advance upward through multiple levels in company-sponsored pyramids of participants.

Further – With unlimited recruitment, MLM assumes both infinite and virgin markets, neither of which exists in the real world. MLM is therefore inherently flawed, unfair and deceptive. It can also be extremely viral and predatory.

Prospects are typically lured into MLM with exaggerated product and income claims, but rewards are stacked in favor of those at or near the top of the pyramid, who are often the first ones to join. Since the vast majority of participants lose money, most of them eventually drop out, to be replaced by a continual stream of new recruits, who are likewise destined for loss and disappointment."

In my own opinion, every company using the MLM-model to some extent, is deceiving lots of people in what they can expect. They have two options: sell lots of products and be a classic salesman or recruit people and make them sell and give you commissions. Of course, there is a middle way, but I believe many focus on one or the other.

The bottom line is that two or more levels of distributors shouldn't be necessary, as they have people above them managing them, which is their primary job. In MLM, the sales people eventually become the leaders as well as sales people. It's kind of like an all-in-one job where you are the executive, salesman, organization leader, but also an IBO. Just weird. The 1979 decision of FTC vs Amway was truly what keeps MLM alive today.

Zapticon, here is a portion from a site that has a lot of good information and this one is in reference to MLM - which is also discussed in another thread, as you know. But Scamland members advertise these in their signatures and forums.
