SHHH, if you're really, really quiet, you can hear the sound of BitConnect promoters and pimps scattering to the four corners of the planet:

Re: Cease and Desist issued against BitConnect alleging fraud
I wonder if a**hole "Michael Crypto" is going to post a follow up video to this "Granny Crypto" video where instead of feeling so much joy over the ponzi returns on her screen she possibly sits crying in a dark room.
In all honesty, I can't tell if she ended up as a net winner or net loser.
If she's not a phony, crooked senior like Paul Burks, then it looks like she was turned into an unwitting scammer. Most likely, she ended ripping off other seniors in a similar shaky financial situation, probably friends and family.
This is the type of stuff that disgusts me.
Even if by some chance, her story isn't legit, you can bet that there are plenty of real stories out there.
I hate scammers.

Re: Cease and Desist issued against BitConnect alleging fraud
Easy Money DP, is that some kind of a double entendre? One more Father of the Year coffee mug, if anyone wants to "pull up" Trevon will take his son to his grandparent's house.
About those terms of service.
A court will never enforce a contract promoting something already against state or federal law https://www.nolo.com/legal-encyclope...ips-33079.html
This has nothing to do with "crypto", since 1946 promotion of Bitconnect would have been considered illegal since it was an unregistered security under federal law.
What Is a Security?
The Securities Act and Securities Exchange Act have broad definitions of the term "security." Under these Acts, a security includes many familiar investment instruments such as notes, stocks, bonds, and investment contracts.
Whether a certain investment is considered a security is important, because designation as a security means that the investment is subject to certain registration requirements. In general, all securities offered in the U.S. must be registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), although there are some exceptions. A company offering securities that are not exempt must register them, a process that also involves disclosure of certain information, including:
A description of the company's properties and business purpose
A description of the security being offered
Information about the company's management
Financial statements about the company, certified by independent accountants
Under the Howey Test, a transaction is an investment contract if:
It is an investment of money
There is an expectation of profits from the investment
The investment of money is in a common enterprise
Any profit comes from the efforts of a promoter or third party
Substance Over Form
In deciding Howey, the Supreme Court created a test that looks at an investment's substance, rather than its form, as the determining factor for whether it is a security. Even if an investment is not labeled a "stock" or "bond," it may very well be a security under the law, meaning that registration and disclosure requirements apply. After the creation of the Howey Test, some promoters masqueraded securities to try and escape registration requirements (such as by calling an offer of securities an interest in a general partnership). To deal with these charades, courts look at the economic realities behind an investment scheme, rather than at its name or form, to determine whether it is a security.
If an investment opportunity is open to many people, and if investors have little to no control or management of investment money or assets, then that investment is probably a security. If, on the other hand, an investment is made available only to a few close friends or associates, and if these investors have significant influence over how the investment is managed, then it is probably not a security. Wow, Trevor be mad at all the haters and victims. Guess no one was investing much through his links.
For a guy who says he supposedly joined almost a year ago and has over 100K+ on youtube, Trevor seems to not have made any decent money or blew it somewhere. He talks about right now living in a motel room by the week and is hoping to upgrade to a monthly motel somewhere. Extended stay motels! Set for life success! Changing lives! Whoooo!

Re: Cease and Desist issued against BitConnect alleging fraud
Boo hoo hoo, Craig Grant claims he didn't know what he was doing was illegal. Yeah!!!! When I started reading https://steemit.com/crypto/@cryptofi...ople-in-crypto something sounded really familiar. Then hit it me, Davin Rosenblatt warned the world that Craig and Yuliana were pulling several major scams in 2013.
"As for me, well there is no way I can sit back and let a person who has admitted to taking money from scammers play the victim and collect. I have the proof. How did I get it? I investigated and researched. We will continue to work to get the public the truth. Tune in next Tuesday on Davin’s Den and we will fill you in." Quote from Craig Facebook account.
”$5000= Nigerian Scammers so all the work to get this ball of magic money rolling, using the pictures I took of Yuliana over the past 10 years. They are in Africa, so of course by the time the energy reaches Florida it is falling from the sky, and we do no work…just get PAID…about $50,000 gets sent to Africa before we see $5000 and that’s great.”

Re: Cease and Desist issued against BitConnect alleging fraud
.
Somebody straighten me out here:
Is Ponzi Pimp Craig Grant married to some formerly hot little Miami model named Yuliana Avalos and if accurate, was he marketing her most private parts as seen on this page (WARNING, very sexually explicit), but calling her Julie Estiva?
If the answer is yes, is the woman in the red one-piece swimsuit out yacht-renting with Craig the same woman?
Looks like it might be a case of "marry scruffy me, Baby and I'll make you rich" ... then she bites and starts spending all those BitConnect referral fees at restaurants ... then Craig Grant sees his expensive pile of BitConnect digital products turn in to the true vapor that they were all along ... then the formerly model-skinny wife is no longer marketable ... hmm, wonder what's next?

I believe they are the same woman, although it's possible the new one ate the old one as sharks are known to do. Either way makes Grant's victim tale a lot less plausible F*****G likely.
